General Hospital Update for Thursday, 29-Apr-1999

Hi Everyone =) Here’s the update for Tursday, April 29, 1999:

Jax is standing in the PC Grill, and Ned comes over and tells him that if he’s given up on the Cassadine fortune, he has a business proposition that Jax might find interesting. Ned leaves and Jerry comes in…freaking out because Lady Jane has invted him and Bobbie over for dinner!

Felicia is talking to Lila, and wants to know if Lila still has her old letters. Lila doesn’t she sent them to her cousin, who is now dead. Lila and Felicia get all sentimental about keeping their mementos handy.

AJ invites Carly to cut class and go out that evening. She declines, so AJ offers to drop her off at class. Just when is AJ going to figure this one out? She almost left without her notebook! Sheesh….even AJ can’t REALLY be this dumb!

Jason bumps into Hannah at Luke’s, he’s looking cute and sweaty…she admires him for being willing to get his hands dirty, even though he’s the owner…they make small talk, and she finally asks what other jobs he’s had (and casually asks the same about Sonny). Hannah tells Jason about Taggert’s visit. Sonny walks in and tells Jason how Hanna got rid of Taggert. Hannah tells Jason she’s happy to help him any time. (Insert major lovey-dovey-eyes here! This girl’s got no same!) Jason give Sonny the shipping manifest and tells him the crane broke while loading the coffee.

Bobbie vits Liz, they grieve together. After Bobbie leaves, Liz sees the candles on the mantle and starts to flash back. We then cut to the “security-cam” view of Lucky…and pull back to the back of his captor’s head…we all know this is Faison, right? Maybe Robert and Anna are in the same cell block? Oh, I wish!

Edward chews out AJ for pushing up the date for the hearing—now they can’t get their favorite judge. Now they only have one week to prove Jason and Carly are good parents. AJ thinks that with Tony’s testimony and Jason’s past, they’re all set.

It’s dinner party time: Jerry’s parents share stories of Jerry’s past girlfriends—vapid, airheads, etc. They realize he’s really smitten with Bobbie. Bobbie runs into Felicia on the way in, Felicia coaxes her not to worry…Bobbie sits down, and Jerry introduces her, “This is Bobbie. Be nice.”

V is still trying to convince Ned to perform more. Felicia comes in, asking Ned for research money to go get Lila’s love letters. Chloe Morgan has the letters, yes, that’s Chloe Morgan the clothing designer…V pointed this out, BTW, Ned interrupts the story and tells her to go get them. Felicia hurriedly tells Mac she’s off to London and the girls are with Betty.

Liz tearfully explains to Nicholas that she gave Lucky the candles, and this is all her fault. He helps to convince her that it’s not anyone’s fault.

Taggert drops by Luke’s, and Sonny informs him to stop harassing his waitresses, while Hannah looks on. Robocop tactfully comments on Sonny’s protectiveness towards his employees, and wonders aloud why Sonny wasn’t nearly so protective or Lucky or Lily. Hannah follows Taggert out of Luke’s and asks for the proper spelling of his name so it’s right on her harassment complaint against him…okay, maybe this girl is growing on me now! She says that the whole staff of Luke’s will back the complaint. Taggert tells her Sonny’s a racketeer…yadda yadda yadda…. Sonny tells her she’s made a big mistake and chews her out. She tells him she doesn’t like cops like Taggert and she doesn’t scare easily. Sonny grabs her and kisses her.

Jason is greeted by Carly on his way out of the shower….he’s just wearing a towel, not looking to impressed by her surprise. She keeps trying to seduce him, he keeps trying to tell her to get lost.

Felicia reads a magazine article about Chloe on the flight to London.

Edward reminds AJ how important Carley’s cooperation is. He smirks and after Edward leaves the room, he pulls an engagement ring out of his pocket.

Nicholas invites Liz to go shopping with him and Emily this weekend, trying to distract her. She thanks him for humoring her…he says it’s self-preservation, if he doesn’t decorate soon, Katherine will do it! While they are talking, a package arrives…her paintings are back from the art academy…with Lucky’s picture inside. Liz doesn’t want to open it.

The door opens to Lucky’s cell, and we see his captor’s face…yes it is Faison. He introduces himself to Lucky…end of episode :)
