General Hospital Update for Monday, 26-Apr-1999

Little Liz can't beleive her Lucky is gone. She sits in the front pew of the church trying to spiritually reach out to her beloved. She asks Lucky to give her a sign.

Nikolas walks in on Liz and they discuss how Lucky saved their lives. Nikolas tells Liz she needs to get some rest. She tells Nikolas that she is afraid to sleep because she might dream about the sirens. Nikolas tells her to recount the dream she had before she heard the sirens. Liz tells him that she and Lucky were dancing in her dream. Nikolas tells her that it is probable that she will have good dreams of Lucky, instead of the one with the sirens if she goes to sleep. Liz seems to be relieved by Nikolas' logic.

Carly is very surprised by Jason's visit. Carly relates to Jason how Lucas is handling his grief over Lucky's death. Lucas does not believe Lucky is dead. She tells Jason that she had a relatively good childhood compared to other children. Jason is worried that by putting Michael and his well-being first, he may not be "taking care of business" the way he used to. Carly says that she would just die if anything happened to Michael.

The new Brenda look-a-like, Hannah, has a chat with Sonny on the dock. Hannah wants to know if Sonny is a criminal. Sonny tells her that he is a legitamate business man. Sonny is afraid to get close to Hannah because she might end up with a shortened lifespan, like his other friends and lovers. Hannah continues her questioning of Sonny until he gives her a brief synopsis of how each of his lovers and friends met with death. In view of recent events, Sonny feels that he cannot protect anyone. Even though he is very attracted to Hannah, he will not allow her to get close to him because it may mean her eventual and inevitable demise.

Tammy and Luke share passionate kisses at Luke's. A grief-stricken Laura, seeking to comfort and be comforted by Luke, sees them kissing. Apparently, Luke and Tammy do not see Laura because they are too busy probing each others tonsils. Tammy wants to take care of Luke and offers to cook him some food. Luke says no. As they are saying their goodnights, Felecia walks in. After Tammy leaves, Felecia is very uncomfortable and tries to leave as gracefully as possible. Luke tells Felecia--"Don't go." Luke pours out his heart to Felecia. He tells her that he blames himself for Lucky's death because he trusted Sonny and Jason. He is also worried that LuLu will forget Lucky. Felecia explains to Luke that he will have to help LuLu remember by showing her his pictures and telling her stories about Lucky.

Laura is a wreck. She finds her way up the stairs to Lucky's room. She puts on one of his jackets and holds his teddy bear. Laura looks at herself in the mirror (she looks horrible, by the way) and then finds a picture of her and Lucky. Laura loses it and breaks the mirror. She trashes Lucky's room screaming "I hate you!" Stephen finds Laura on the floor, weeping uncontrollably. Laura tells him that everything is gone. Stephan reminds her that she still has people that love her and goes down the list. Stephan tells Laura he is taking her home--I bet that is Wyndemere!

Lucky absolutely hates captivity. He is as bored as he is angry. Metal rooms can be so confining.
