General Hospital Update for Monday, 5-Apr-1999

Sonny is at Jakes and Hannah turns up as his waitress. They introduce themselves.

Taggert and the police bust in on Moreno's drug shipment. Jason is hiding in the warehouse and he jumps through a window to escape. Taggert shoots at him, but he escapes.

On the dock, Carly overhears AJ paying off the arsonist who torched Sonny and AJ's warehouse! She makes noise, but doesn't get caught. The rsonist leaves and she heads back to Kelley's where she's supposed to be metting AJ.

Sonny and Hannah chat about nothing important. She thanks him again for helping her on the docks the other day. He orders a drink and when she places the order at the bar, a guy comes up and appears to be hassling her. Sonny makes the guy leave. Jake tells Sonny that the guy was her best waiter. Sonny has Luke send over some waitresses from Luke's. Jake tells Hannah to take her break and sit with Sonny, but Hannah get pissed because she wanted to show Jake that she could handle the jerky waiter and now she might have to go back to the day shift which means less tips. She says she can take care of herself and gets up from the table and goes back to work.

Emily show up at Lucky's to meet him and the gang for pizza. She and Lucky reminisce about their adventures and what good friends they are and how much she'll miss him when he goes to New York. They both agree that Port Charles became home for them. He assures her that she'll fall in love someday.

Carly returns to Kelly's and sees Bobbie there. They are cordial. She sits to wait for AJ and asks Tammy not to tell him that she ever left the restaurant. Tammy agrees. Carly tries to call Jason but gets his machine. She's leaving him a message about how important it is that she talk to him as AJ walks in. He asks what's so important (he doesn't realize the message was for Jason) and she makes up a story about calling someone form her design class.

Bobbie pitches in to serve at Kelly's. Jerry comes in and they flirt. She tells him she's still worried about Carly. She says she's been where Carly is and when you come from no money, it's hard to resist someone with a lot.

Jason shows up at Jakes and tells Sonny about the drug bust. Sonny scolds him for being too close when it went down. Jason tells Sonny that Taggert shot at him but he doesn't think Taggert recognized him. Jason was grazed by the bullet, but refuses to see a doctor because he wants to go put Michael to bed and he leaves. Sonny gets up to leave and tries to pay for his drink with a large bill and tells hannah she can keep the change, but she refuses. Sonny seems to like her pluck.

Liz, Lucky, Emily and Nik eat pizza and talk about New York and Liz's paintings. Emily asks Nik about his feelings when he found out about Stefan being his father not his uncle and she rambles about the Michael situation. Nik says he was mad at first but not now and they tell he just to love Michael and that will help him. She apologizes for being a downer and they say not to worry. Then Nik takes her home.

AJ and Carly talk about the trial and he says that their growing closer will help in getting custody. They go home and find Jason reading to Michael. AJ is annoyed and Carly pretends to be. They say they don't like Michael being woken up by Jason. Jason says he's not going to fight in front of Michael and Carly agrees with him. So AJ starts arguing with her. They agree to let Jason put Michael to bed since he's not crying for once. Carly tries to get a minute alone with Jason to tell himn about AJ and the fire but she can't and she and AJ head to bed.

Taggert is waiting for Sonny at the penthouse and tells him about the drug bust. Sonny says where he and Jason were and says he doesn't know anything about the anonymous tip the police got. Taggert says Moreno will retaliate against Sonny and Jason, then leaves.

Carly somes back into the lving room and is trying to tell Jason about AJ, but just then AJ walks in, so Carly acts like Jason was trying to get her back on his side. AJ and Jason trade barbs, then Jason leaves. AJ demands to know what Jason said, but Carly says it was the smae old stuff but the look in Jason's eyes scares her. AJ tells her not to worry and she says she won't.
