General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 17-Feb-1999

Liz and Lucky get stuck in the snowstorm at the church. They call Nikolas on the cell phone for rescue. While Nik and Emily are trying to get to Liz and Lucky, they talk of how perfect Liz and Lucky are for each other. The subject turns eventually to them and they talk jokingly about her seeing him and Katherine, and then reach an understanding. They finally get to the church and get Lucky and Liz. They all return to the hotel and run into Katherine in the lobby. It's a little awkward, and Nik doesn't say anything to Kat.

The power goes out on Luke at the club and Felicia shows up trying to get out of the storm. Soon after, Tammy shows up too. He and Felicia try to convince her to run Kelly's. She's hesitant at first because of her past. Then Luke tells her of Ruby's similar past and she finally agrees. They proceed to get drunk together (it keeps out the cold, you know). Felicia and Luke tell Tammy of Lucy's Nurse's Ball strip tease-hence the shoe on the wall (Felicia has the other and wants Luke's to complete the pair). Luke suggests that Felicia strip for the shoe. She declines (it's too cold), and they flip for it. He bets the shoe, and she bets the tease. She wins the shoe and Mac shows up and takes his drunk wife home.

Back at Jax's (Brenda's) Alexis fights off a concussion. They talk of Jerry and brotherhood.
She tells him that she called Stefan and how he disowned her. Now that she is no longer wavering, she wants what's rightfully hers AND revenge. He forgives her weakness and then warns her about Sonny. She tells him she's Jason's attorney. Jax warns her that if he smells Sonny anywhere near her, he'll bolt. The snow stops and they meet up with Ned and V at the cottage house. (V's hair is growing out quite nicely, I might add).

Carly and Sonny are stuck together and the tension is bad. She pulls out the nutrasweet and suggests that they work together to come up with something so that everybody wins. The best thing for her to do, she says, was for her to go to the Q's. She wants to call Jason and let her explain everything to Jason herself. Sonny's hesitant, to say the least. He asks her how Jason won't go to jail for the kidnapping. Carly comes back by saying that she has to be the one to press charges, but she won't. He humors her and lets her believe that he's in accord with her. Then with something naughty on his mind, he suggests that they go upstairs. He leads her on, then calls her out. She denies that she would have slept with him, but he says she had that yes look. He calls her a slut and she retorts with pig. He tells her that he'll tell Jason that she tried to seduce him to get him in her corner. What will hurt him the most, that she tried to seduce him or that she turned his son over to the Q's. He leaves her there hysterically crying and screaming that Jason won't believe him, and tells the guard not to let her leave for three hours.
