General Hospital Update for Friday, 5-Feb-1999

This was a good one, folks! For once- Some important stuff actually happenned IN THE HOSPITAL!

Two main plots today:

1.Cassadine/Spencer/Jacks families: Nik and Stef argued about what to do with the money. Stef wanted to take the money they were going to give General Hospital and half it, hiding one of the halves away for safe keeping from Luke, since he stole the other $200 million (damn, that's a lot of money!). Alexis finally agreed to work with Jerry after he dropped the bombshell to her about the hidden money that he did for Stefan. Lucky all but told Luke that he was an idiot (Luke even admitted that Laura was going to be the one most hurt by all of this - he didn't seem to care. He lost whatever loyalty I had for him with THAT admission!). Lucky and Nikolas discussed that this was just the status quo for their fathers and made it clear that was where it was staying. Sad that the 16 and 18 (yeah, right)-year olds are more mature than their own fathers. Oh well. This one is REALLY going to heat up on Monday.

2. The whole MICHAEL thing: Carly told Edward and AJ about how Jason "kidnapped" the kid. AJ doesn't buy it. Edward calls the police. Taggart comes over. Carly is talking to him when Emily comes in and starts going off on, and then physically attacking, her (You go girl!). Sonny and Mike talk about Carly. Then, Taggart comes by with a warrant to search Sonny's for stuff and Sonny and Mike hear about the story. Carly is up s*it creek without a paddle now!
