Daily Updates

General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 6-Jan-1999

This was a pretty good episode, folks. Let's go plot by plot:

1. Jason, Robin, Carly, Bobbie, Michael, Sonny, etc:
Jason is over at the Brownstone and has the daily talk with Carly. She says that she and Michael shouldn't have left, yada yada yada. Jason takes care of Michael and sleeps on the couch. Bobbie walks in and has a really good talk with him. Am I the only one who is scared that Bobbie has become the "Voice of Reason" TM of Port Chuck? Anyway- she points out that Carly needs to be more of a mother and that Michael needs to get used to her. Jason just stares blankly. He deserves the DUH award for the week. Then Bobbie asks about Robin and tells Jason that she is probably teetering on the edge. (Hint, hint.) Jason has pretty much made it clear who comes first in his life, and that Robin is playing second-chair in his little band.

2. Nik,Kat,Helena,Stefan,Lucky,Liz,Alexis,Laura,Luke, the kitchen sink...
Nik tells of Helena at the dock and quotes her from her conversation that Nik overheard with Kat. Oops. Is that egg on her face? She then talks to Kat (who had been looking for Nik at Lucky's) and makes it clear that she is not happy that Kat has not been completely honest with her. Kat TRIES to cover. Whatever.
Alexis confronts Stefan and is upset that he did not trust her about the Nik thing. Then he brings up the parapet accident, which she tries to explain away. She says she felt like a servant, yada yada. She leaves with a warning that she is prime to do her part in getting what she sees as her fair share of the Cassadine empire.
At Lucky's, Loose-lips tells Liz about the entire Nik story and goes into how much Laura lies. Liz tried to explain Laura's motivation. Lucky then goes on his daily litany about honesty. They kiss (everyone say "how cute" now please).
Back on the island... Stefan tells Nik that he knows that it is Kat that has told him about "the little secret." Nik then divulges that Kat was trying to use him. Yeah she was!

These were the only things on today.

PS- Sonny appearance tomorrow according to the previews. Plus- Bobbie talks to Robin! That should be fun!
