General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 5-Jan-1999

Jason explains to Bobbie that Michael can't handle living at the Brownstone without him. Alexis meets with Helena, and they discuss why she killed her mother. Nikolas returns to Windemere, where he, Laura, and Stefan talk about the paternity situation. Nikolas asks Laura weather Stefan has ever lied to her about his paternity. Laura tells Nikolas she and Stefan couldn't reveal the fact he is his father so they could protect him from Luke and so she and Nikolas wouldn't be killed. Laura admits she and Stefan were in love. Alexis tells Helena that her mother will get her revenge on her. Carly wants to move ahead with the plans to move into the Brownstone. She and Bobbie work on convincing Jason to agree, which he does. All parties are reduced to tears. Stefan tells Nikolas about how he discovered he was his father. Nikolas is unforgiving towards Stefan. Laura and Stefan begin to cry. Stefan and Nikolas have a hartwarming embrace, while Laura departs undetected. Carly has second thoughts about moving. She and Bobbie leave with Michael. Jason comes close to tears. Robin comes home and Jason tells her that Michael is gone, and she thinks that means Carly took him to the Quartermaines. Carly and Bobbie have mother-daughter bonding. Carly tells Bobbie her life goal is to get Jason (in bed). Stefan tells Nikolas not to tell people about the situation. Nikolas says he doesn't want the title of "prince" and the inheritence. Nikolas moves back home. Robin is suspecious of Carly's motives. Bobbie has an emergency at the hospital, and Carly is left alone with Michael. Carly calls Jason for assistence, and he goes to the Brownstone. Robin is upset. Alexis pays a visit to Stefan, and she tells Stefan she wants her share of the inheritence. Nikolas sees Helena.
