General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 9-Dec-1998

Today on GH

The show opens with Jason talking on the phone with Robin, meaning that Carly is busted for not telling Jason that Robin called earlier.
Jason said he isn't mad at Carly, that she was just being herself and
he is used to her games, he also points out that he knows she sprained her ankle on purpose.

Jason warns Carly that if she ever messes with Micheal's head, safety or life in a negative way, he will get mad and come after her.
Jason sure knows how to treat a mother.
After Jason leaves, Carly worries that Jason will find out the truth about her letting Tony get close to Micheal.

Then A.J. shows up to smooth talk Carly, but she doesn't buy it.
So AJ goes for the sympathy angle. He tells Carly about Alan being a drug addict and how he was arrested for murder.
Carly does feel sorry for AJ.

AJ then offers to help Carly find a house so she can get out on her own, but Carly turns him down.
Jason then returns home and throws AJ out.
I'm with AJ, how does Carly stand it?

Meanwhile Tammy goes to Luke's to ask for his help in piecing together what happened to her. She tells Luke about being beat up and going to hide out in Felicia's room. Tammy said after Felicia left, someone knocked on the door, she then blacked out. When she woke up, Tammy learned Roy(Alan) had been arrested for murder.

Felicia arrives at Luke's and tells Tammy that Alan's drug dealer was the person Alan is accused of murdering.
Luke suspects that Moreno was trying to set up Felicia to get at Mac,
But got Tammy by mistake.

Luke, Tammy and Felicia figure out that Alan was trying to get rid of the body to protect Tammy and he must think Tammy is the one who killed the dealer.
Tammy decides to go to the jail to talk to Alan.
Nice to see Luke helping someone today, he was almost likable :-)

On the Teen front,
Nikolas and Lucky try to calm Elizabeth down after her court room
outburst, But Elizabeth is afraid there will be a mistrial and Tom will be freed.

Tom's Lawyer tries to rattle Emily on the stand, but she holds firm and nails Tom to the wall. Later Emily says she would be eager to testify again if there is a mistrial. Dara, Ned, Alexis and Nikolas all tell
Emily what a great job she did testifying.

Tom comes out of the courtroom during a recess and sees Nikolas, Lucky,
Emily And Elizabeth together. He calls them the four Musketeers(good name for them, to bad Tom thought of it.)

Tom then looks at Elizabeth and tells her that he hopes she has a better Valentines Day next year.
Lucky lunges for Tom's throat, but Nikolas pulls him off.
Tom says he wants to press charges, however Taggert says he didn't see anything - score big points for Taggert today

Later in Lucky's apartment Elizabeth tells Lucky that, after seeing how Tom pushed Lucky's buttons to get him mad, Tom no longer had any power over her. She said she would no longer react to Tom, thus freeing her mind of him.

After Lucky and Elizabeth leave, Dara leaves a message on Lucky's answering machine saying that Tom has pled guilty to third degree larceny and is on his way to prison.

Lucky and Elizabeth return to the park where the rape occured,
Elizabeth says she can see the beauty in the park again.
The show ends with Lucky and Elizabeth sharing a kiss.
Their kissing is getting better all the time.

Luke to Tammy - "I've known Felicia Scorpio a long long time, she has a natural instinct for disaster."

AJ to Carly - "Between the murder rap and Em's blackmail mess, no court would award us a puppy."
