This was a good day for GH soap fans everywhere.
Left on several cliff hangers from last Friday, I couldn't wait for today's episode. I'll briefly catch you up according to story lines.
Laura and Stefan and Nick and Kat:
Last Friday left us with Laura and Stefan meeting for dinner after
Bobbie gave pieces of her mind to both of them. Stefan milking it
for all he can get, he reminds Laura constantly about their relationship being more than a casual affair. Laura on the other hand tells Stefan to stop filling their son's head with fantasies of her becoming a part of a family scene on the island. Stefan assures her he does no such thing (liar!) and that Nicholas does that on his own, and why shouldn't he? Speaking of Nick, that's why Laura is there to see Stefan, she wants to assure Nick of her always being there no matter what might go on between her families. (A little foreshadowing here you think?)
Stefan tells her that Nicholas is just upstairs in Ms. Bell's suite discussing their charity ball plans. Laura looked a little suspiscious and asked if Stefan wasn't a little worried knowing that Kat is Helena's little cadet. Stefan acknowledges Nick and Kat's relationship and would not go against it in fear of losing Nick over rebellious feelings. Laura hardly believes that Stefan is not worried. ANYWAY...
The TEASE of it was that last week left it where it seemed that Laura would just walk upstairs to the suite and catch the lovers in each others' arms, but that didn't happen. Instead, Stefan calls the suite, and asks Nicholas to join them for dinner, which Nick agrees to and promises to "wrap things up" right away. I fast-forward through Nick and Kat love scenes (it ruins my lunch) and unfortunately for me, this episode had a little too much lust and heavy-breathing for these two characters. (Why don't they get this simmery over other couples?)
Carly, Jason and Jax:
Another cliffhanger from last Friday, having Carly intentionally spraining her ankle and Jason carry her to his room, Jax shows up at the cottage. He knocks, then let himself in with his key and overhears Carly ooh-ing and mmmmm-ing "Oh yeah Jason, right there..." Of course we all know that Jason is just massaging the ankle and putting ice on it, but Carly likes being sensual over anything, even a bag of ice. Jax calls up to them and Jason says he'll be down in a minute (leaving enought time for him to seemingly put clothes on in Jax's eyes) and comes down wanting to know how Jax got inside. Jax said that he was looking for a necklace that Brenda had and hoped she didn't die with it. He would be the only one to know where it is and Robin gave him permission to go in and get it if no one was in. (Is that the best the writers could come up with?) Jax asked if he should wait *ahem* before he goes up to the room. Jason didn't see why not so they go up together.
Right before Jason opens the door, Carly throws a blanket over herself conveniently wearing a spaghetti strapped top so she looked *ahem* interuppted and she bats out what did Jax want? Jax walks in. Seeing what he sees, Jax comes in quickly, looks for Brenda's necklace, finds it and starts to lecture Jason on how he gave the house to Robin and that Jason was betraying Robin. Jason didn't say one thing to deny any suspiscions. Carly asks, what if he tells Robin? Jason believes that Robin will believe him and doesn't care what Jax thinks.
Carly milks it by saying who does Jax think he is, *his* house given to Robin, blah blah blah... Jason stops her before she makes him angry.
Tammy, Felicia, Mac and Alan:
This story line was scened throughout the whole episode, to keep the mystery alive. Not the same effect the way I'm going to tell it.
Tammy is grateful to Felicia for a place to live and worries that the future is not safe for her as long as Moreno is in charge of the streets. Felicia decides to call the only person they both can count on right now, no not the police, Alan. (reliable? Alan?) Meanwhile, the drug dealer tells Morneo that Felicia is in the room, is going in for the deed, and he won't let him down. Right after him, a Moreno thug follows assuring Moreno the wife is there, and he's going to do his deed.
Interspersed between other storylines and commercials we have Mac calling everybody but the FBI on finding Felicia. Man, if I had a husband who worried like that about me for being late for a dinner date, I could go ballistic!
Alan arrives at Courtland Street just as the thug is leaving and goes to Felicia's apartment finding the room ransacked. Tammy is bleeding on the bed, and the pale drug dealer in in bed with her. Alan checks Tammy's pulse, she's alive. He assures a groggy Tammy that everything is going to be alright and he'd take care of everything, even if he doesn't know what's going on. And where's Felicia? Was she there? Tammy passes out. Alan goes to the drug dealer, lots of blood, no pulse. He's dead. So what does Alan do?
Meanwhile, a cop comes in and tells the commisioner, I found your wife.
Commercial. In bursts in Felicia saying, she had a flat tire and what's with the APB on a flat tire?!?! Mac tells her he worries, Felicia tells him that she finally decided to give up he "office." Mac is relieved.
Finally, Alan is dragging the dead body across the hall and who's there to see this? Taggert of course.... well, well, well, how are you going to explain this one?
And that's it for today's episode.
