General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 2-Dec-1998

Winter has come to Port Charles, ala Jacks style!! The action starts with Lucas playing in the snow that Jerry's brought to the park. He and Bobby are watching him play when Tony pops up like a bad penny! "Cavorting with your criminal boyfriend?" he asks Bobby, as Jerry looks like he wants to punch him out! "The Ice Man cometh!!" Tony smirks. Bobby accuses him of stalking her, but Tony really only wants to see Lucas, and reminds her that he's getting more and more ammunition.

Continuing with this Jacks theme...we move to the Q's, where the battling clan is getting ready for an emergency board meeting, called by AJ. AJ has let a contract with Acme Sprockets, who provides sprockets for the docks, run out and now they really want to stick it to ELQ. There are some typically bitchy and funny Quartermaine moments here when Monica blusters that she doesn't even know what a sprocket is. Kat can't miss the opportunity to show up Monica, and Monica calls her the Martha Stewart of Sprockets!! (Is it really a good thing??) Everyone wants to see the CEO of Acme Sprockets and AJ's already invited him to the meeting. An exasperated Reggie announces, you guessed it: JAX!!! Kat grouses for the millionth time that she wants to fire Reggie and Lila shoots back that Reggie IS this house and he's staying put!!!!

Meanwhile, on the teen front, the kids are going to Dara's to be prepped for Tom's trial. Nicholas picks up Emily at the Q's, and Edward puts him on the spot and asks him what his intentions are, aka Emily (I can tell you what his intentions are re Kat!!!) Emily comes in and rescues Nick. She dies from shame when she finds out what Edward's upto.

Dara's on her way to the office to meet with the kids, when she runs into Justus at the waterfront. She says she misses his friendship and his arrogance and bemoans the fact that they can never work together, based on how he's crossed the line.

At the Office, Dara is briefing Lucky, Emily and Nicholas on their parts in the trial, when Liz wants to know where she comes in. Dara gently tells her that they won't be needing her testimony on her rape. Liz begs to be put on the stand and Dara tells her that it would open up the case to all sorts of objections. Taggart tries to help by saying that Tom's going to be put away and that's the important thing, right?

Even Lucky tries to tell Liz to move on later at his room. Liz is paiinting a mural and will hear nothing about it. She tells Lucky that he obviously doesn't understand what she's been going through. They wind up making up.

Dara and Taggart have had a tough day and decide to get away from it all by goiung to a bar, where he tells her nice going for telling off DA Schulz. Stay tuned!!!!
