General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 21-Oct-1998

Felicia, Robin, and Jason:

Robin's come back and AJ and Michael are gone. She worries that AJ has run off with Michael and that Jason will be furious. Felicia tries to calm Robin just as Jason walks in. Robin instantly tells him what happened and that she never meant to be gone as long as she was. She wants to go pick up Michael at the Quartermaines but an obviously ticked Jason tells her Michael's next store with Mike.

Lucky, Liz, Nikolas, and Emily:

They come home to Audrey's and discuss everything they've figured out. They know the photographer posted Emily's face on another model's body and put it on a website. Lucky was upset that they hadn't gotten a copy of the contact sheet when Nikolas whips it out. Lucky begins to slightly give Nikolas a hard time and Liz says, "Okay, we've managed to make it through an entire afternoon with both of you still alive, so let's move on." Lucky wants to get Emily's face off that website but needs something more than a labtop to be able to do so. Nikolas offers to go to Wyndemere, Lucky not to enthusiastically agrees. (That was cute) Liz decides to call Mr. Murray to put the photo agency up for school advertising. So that kids can go there to find work.

Stefan and Laura:

Laura's asleep upstairs in the guest bedroom while Stefan downstairs is deep in thought. Mrs. Lansbury informs him that her clothes are dry. He knows how tired Laura is and doesn't disturb her sleep. He goes upstairs to check on Laura who is deep in sleep then goes back downstairs. Laura wakes up in the very "Cassadine" like room and is for a second frightened (probably from memories of being a prisoner) but then remembers it's Wyndemere.

Stefan, downstairs remembers how they got from their almost kiss to her sleeping upstairs. He remembers their conversation...

"Stefan, you said that you weren't going to do this. Please. I love Luke-"

Stefan: "You love Luke, but what is this that I see in your eyes? What is it?"

Laura: {Trying to rise but Stefan stops her again} "Stop it."

Stefan: "No. I don't want it to be so easy for you to turn me away. Maybe the time for me to fight is now."

Laura fights and gives in at the same time as they lean close, lips almost touching, until Stefan pulls back suddenly, Laura is a little confused.

Stefan: "No. The next step must come from you. I've made enough choices for us. It is for you to come to me now."

She glares at him a bit for making a fool out of her.

Laura: "Not gonna happen."

Stefan: "It's already started. That's why you're here."

Laura: "No, I--no. I'm here because I had plans with Nikolas. That's the only reason. Like I said before, every feeling doesn't have to be acted upon. Luke is my husband and I shouldn't--I want to go home."

Stefan: "Until the small crafts warning is lifted, that won't be possible. If you'd rather not stay down here, please make yourself comfortable in the guest room where you found the trunk. You could nap. I won't disturb you."

Laura: "Will you send Mrs. Lansbury up when it's safe for me to go home?"

Stefan: "Yes."

Laura: "Thank you."

Laura, upstairs awake from her nap, walks over to the vanity and sees a familiar brush. Picking it up, she flashbacks to on the island, when she is very depressed and lonely, and brushing her long blonde hair with that brush. A shirtless Stefan comes up behind her, takes the brush and begins very seductively to brush her hair for her.

Laura comes out of the flashback angry at herself for having these feelings for Stefan that she shouldn't and exhausted that she can't stop thinking about him.

Monica and Edward:

Another great fight! Monica wants Katherine to get the hell out of the house but Edward wants to keep her there so he can watch her. He promises to keep Katherine out of Monica's hair but Monica still wants her gone! AJ comes in and tells them that he got Robin to trust him with Michael, that he held him, fed him, comforted him when he cried. Monica is furious that afer months of trying to get Jason to trust her, AJ went and blew it.

Felicia, Robin, and Jason:

Felicia explains to Jason how worried Robin has been and how much she has tried to call. Felicia asks Jason if AJ was here when he got back. Jason says yes and Felicia goes to Robin and says that she made the right decision, it would've been crazy to take a baby out in this storm. Felicia goes on and on trying to defend Robin to Jason, who faces the other way, angry and hurt. Robin tells Felicia it's okay and to go, Felicia tells Jason Robin was the only one in danger today.

Robin tells Jason how sorry she is and he asks her if she left Michael with AJ on purpose. Robin is confused how he could think that. Jason loses it a bit and yells at her so much she spits out that AJ is Michael's father.

Emily and Elizabeth:

Emily and Liz sit down and chat until Reginald comes. Emily begs Liz to NOT tell Mr. Murray why she wants this job so bad. Liz does promise and Emily thanks her for being so willing to do this for her. Doorbell rings, it's Mr. Murray. Liz tells him this agency's really good so she wants to use the school to get in. Reginald shows up, and Emily leaves, Mr. Murray asks Liz if she wants to tell him what this is really about.

Stefan, Laura, Lucky, Nikolas:

Lucky and Nikolas drop into Wyndemere and ask Stefan if they can use his computer system. Stefan says yes just as Laura comes down the stairs. Lucky and Nikolas are stunned that Laura would come downstairs from Wyndemere. Since Laura didn't do anything she doesn't understand why her sons are looking at her that way. Then she looks at Stefan and what she's wearing and rolls her eyes at her terrible luck. Laura tries to make things calm down and she tells her sons the total truth, Nikolas apologizes for not getting the message to her sooner and making her waste a trip. Lucky's a pig and leaves, looking at his mother like she's a slut and leaves. Nikolas however is smart enough to know his uncle manipulated Laura. Mrs. Lansbury brings her clothes to her and she dresses while Nikolas gives Stefan the evil eye for putting his mother in this position.

Elizabeth and Mr. Murray:

Liz makes up a great lie about needing to make sure this agency was giving a fair amount of money and Mr. Murray agrees to help as long as she promises to go to the police if there is ANYTHING illegal involved. She promises, he leaves, Lucky comes up and she stuffs him into her house before Mr. Murray could notice. Lucky tells Liz weird stuff happened at Wyndemere and he didn't feel like sticking around.

AJ, Edward, Monica, and Katherine:

They're being bad discussing how to get Michael back through Robin when Monica comes in and once again blows up at them, when Katherine comes inside and asks Monica how soon she wants her to move out. Edward tells Katherine Monica has agreed to let her stay and Monica leaves, AJ, also not Katherine's biggest fan leaves as well, with Edward chasing him.

Emily and Katherine:

Emily comes in and looks at the contact sheets, then Katherine comes in. Emily asks Katherine what it was like to live with Nikolas, Katherine said she shouldn't say but she would if Emily helped her with something. Reginald comes in and gives Katherine a hard time, (funny, I love Reggie) and Katherine tells Emily only the worst things she could think of to make Nikolas look like he suffered all because of Stefan.

Stefan, Laura, and Nikolas:

Nikolas is about to give his uncle a serious talk when Laura comes down dressed and ready to leave. Nikolas is obviously not mad at her but not happy in general. He goes to make sure the launch is ready for her. As soon as he's out of the room Laura let's Stefan have it. They argue and finally she says, "When we're together nothing good can come of it." He tells her that's not true, they made Nikolas together, and not to lie to herself. Nikolas comes back in and sees Laura off.

Robin and Jason:

After a painful discussion, Jason decides Robin will never be alone in Michael's presence. They painfully decide not to live together for awhile.

Laura:

Looks at a photo of her and Luke and Lucky, then stares out the window thinking about Stefan.

Lucky and Liz:

Lucky tells Liz what Laura "did" and makes her look as awful as possible and that she's sleeping with a Cassadine, barf...boring...get over it...

Stefan and Nikolas:

Nikolas tells Stefan how much he loves his mother and how much he wants her to be comfortable where he lives, and that setting her up doesn't exactly help out. Nikolas tells Stefan not to drive his mother away because he makes Laura's life impossible. Not to force Laura to away from Nikolas. Stefan says Laura is only "forced" by Luke. Oh bite me Stefan, I love you to death but who died and made you perfect?
