GENERAL HOSPITAL 10/19
COTTAGE
- Robin is trying to reach AJ, to tell him she is on her way,but the phones are jammed and she canāt get through. She decides to head for the bike shop, hoping AJ wonāt do anything stupid with Michael.
- Robin comes back inside and calls Felicia -- her car has stalled and their road is flooded. She asks Felicia to come get her and take her to the bike shop.
- Felicia arrives, but with bad news. The bridge is flooded and there is a flash flood warning in effect - they arenāt going anywhere. Robin is beside herself - she has to get back to the garage before Jason gets back. Felicia realizes there is something else going on and questions Robin.
- Robin admits to Felicia that they have been having a disagreement over whether the Qs should have contact with Michael or not. Robin tells Felicia that she thinks they should, but that Jason is adamantly against it. Robin tells Felicia that she left Michael with AJ. Felicia thinks that Jason will understand Robinās actions, but Robin is afraid that Jason will never forgive her for this.
- Felicia thinks Jason will be reasonable, but Robin admits that he would sooner let their house float away in the storm, than leave Michael with AJ. She blames Jason's weariness of the Qs on Carly - that she is paranoid that everyone is out to get her and she needs Jasonās protection, which he is willing to give her. Robin is afraid that Carly will convince him that she doesnāt care about Michael, that is why she left him with AJ. She fears she has played right into Carlyās hands.
- Felicia is optomistic about Jason eventually forgiving Robin, because she had Michaelās best interests in mind. But Robin knows that betrayal is a crime in Jasonās eyes.
BIKE SHOP
- AJ is trying to entertain Michael [which is very entertaining] - offering him food and toys to get him to stop crying. AJ finds a toy that Michael likes - a horn - and proceeds to toot it, which Michael enjoys immensely [and which is also very funny!]
- AJ is trying to feel Michael [but he seems to be eating most fo the baby food]. He tells Michael that if his daddy thought that he liked AJ, then Jason would give permission for him to visit more. Then AJ realizes itās time for a change - a diaper change...!!
- AJ tells Michael that he sees the Quartermaine, as well as the Spencer, temperament in him, but he also can see some of his dad in him - the way Jason
*used* to be.
- AJ tries to call Robin again - he wonders what is taking her so long. AJ keeps trying to entertain Michael and comfort him during the thunder and lightning - the yellow ducky seems to do the trick. AJ tells Michael what great friends they will be, just as Jason walks in and he canāt believe his eyes....
WYNDEMERE
- Stefan and Laura are still kissing out in the rain. She tells him sheās married, that she canāt do this. Stefan wonders why Luke left her instead of fighting for her. She tells him he doesnāt know a thing about her marriage. He brings up Nikolas, telling her that she kept the truth from Luke because she knew how heād react, that heād blame her somehow. Laura assures Stafan that she loves Luke and Stefan replies: ćyou loved who he was..you were just a girl and he was an advanture..ä Stefan wonders why Luke did not put Laura before his own pride. Laura tries to leave; Stefan tells her itās too dangerous for her to travel on the lake during ths storm. She reluctantly agrees to wait out the storm at Wyndemere, on the condition that Stefan not touch her anymore.
- Inside, Laura is warming up by the fireplace. Stefan brings in some towels. He tells her to get out of her wet clothes, but she says she wonāt wear anything of his or Katherineās. He tells her that her trunk from Greece is upstairs - she might find something suitable there. He offers to show her to the room, but she wants to go alone. Stefan watches her intently as she walks up the stairs.
- Laura comes downstairs wearing a white flowing silk dress and matching shawl [kinda like the one she wears in the Greece flashbacks..]Laura tells Stefan that she tried to reach Ruby, but the phones are still out. Stefan interrupts by saying: ćyouāre even more beautiful in that dress than before...ä and they gaze at each other.
- Stefan wonders what Laura will do if Luke doesnāt return, but Laura is convinced heāll be back when heās ready. She tells Stefan:
ć Luke and I will never be over..ä He tells her that the difference between himself and Luke is that Luke allowed pride to be more important than love, but Stefan wonāt ever take love for granted. He believes that Laura will return to him someday, like she promised him she would, as she placed Nikolas in his arms. Laura looks at him, then looks away...
- Laura tells Stefan that she doesnāt want to hurt him, but what they had isin the past. Stefan doesnāt believe her - her eyes tell him that she still has feelings for him. She tells him that every feeling doesnāt have to be acted upon, that Luke is her husband and heāll be back. Stefan realizes that the time to fight for Laura is now as they lean in for another kiss...
FERNCLIFF
- Bobbie is baffled by Carlyās assertion that everything she has done has been for Michael -- even shooting Tony and faking insanity. Bobbie tells her the real reason she is at Ferncliff is because she didnāt stop and think-- she reacted first, and thought about the consequences later. Carly wonders if Bobbie came to see her just to yell at her....She discloses to Bobbie how hard it is for her to be at Ferncliff - her every word is constantly monitored. She admits that sheāll do whatever it takes to get out, go home and be a mother to Michael while he is still a a baby. She just wants her life back. She tells Bobbie that she wonāt apologize for shooting Tony - she was protecting Michael. Bobbie admits that she actually missed her daughter -- Carly is amazed.
- Bobbie tells Carly that she was worried about her. Carly asks Bobbie if she knows why she always comes out fighting -- itās because she had no one to look out for her and protect her. She never learned how to trust, that is why she always strikes first, and pushes people away -- before anyone else can hurt her. Carly tells Bobbie that at least she had Luke to look after her and protect her - she was on her own. Virginia wasnāt much of a support system - it was as if they spoke different languages...Now, Carly still has trouble trusting others and depending on them to be there for her. She asks Bobbie if what she said to her at Shadybrook was true - that she feels about Carly the way Carly feels about Michael.....
- Bobbie is uneasy. Carly wants to know - was she trying to tell her that she loved her? She tells Bobbie that in her group therapy sessions she is encouraged to ask for what she wants - so she asks Bobbie: ćDo you love me? And if you do, can you say it to my face?ä Bobbie tells her yes, she loves her, she is her daughter. Carly admits that she has missed Bobbie a lot.
- Bobbie is telling Carly about her relationship w/ Jerry and about Jerryās troubles as well. She tells her how much Lucas adores Jerry and how Lucas went into a diabetic coma after Jerry was arrested. She also fills Carly in on Tonyās plan to fight for custody of Lucas. Then, Bobbie finally decides to bring up the topic of Robin.
- Bobbie tries to prepare Carly for Robin and Jasonās relationship and their new life at the cottage. Carly believes that Jason would never give up Michael, not even for Robin, and Bobbie agrees.
