GH UPDATE SEPTEMBER 24, 1998

1. And About Time, too!
Liz slept overnight in the boxcar with Lucky.  It's "Wake Up Little
Suzy!" time when she opens her eyes.  Taggart comes by and tells them
they are trespassing and the boxcar is going to  be padlocked.  Taggart
suggests Lucky go to a shelter.  Lucky won't go to Ruby's.  Liz suggests
that since Sarah is going to school in London, he should stay in Sarah's
room.

Audrey is mad at Liz.  She didn't keep her end of the bargain.  Audrey
is shocked that the teens spent the night together.  She asks Liz if they
were "intimate." Liz is shocked and embarrassed.  She tells Audrey that
she was hoping Lucky could stay in Sarah's room.  Audrey doesn't
want to support Lucky's independence.  However, AUDREY offers Lucky a
place for a week.  Your Fearless Updater thinks this should have happened
months ago, when Sarah first left.  Audrey's rules are that they use the
front door, and check in at 7 PM.

Nik and Emily talk about the blackmailing.  They talk about being rich.
Emily goes to ask Tom (the photographer) about the pictures.  She wants,
she says, to write an essay about "the life of a photograph." She asks
where the pictures were, and who had them.  She's worried about all the
people who  have seen the pictures.  Nik suggests an Internet search to
see if the blackmailer has done this before.

2.  Missing Lucy

Felicia is thinking about Lucy.  Mac says they are sending the bodies
back. Felicia asks about Kevin.  He and Victor have disappeared.  Felicia
(she of the short memory) asks "how can you not forgive Lucy?"  She
remembers her "very best friend."

Felicia, meanwhile, is doing research about the Orient Express.  Mac and
Felicia recall the nun-faking incident.  They remember Norma and Eve.
They are very sad about Kevin and Lucy.

3. Jax on Bail

Jax, at the police station, sees Alexis. Ned has arranged bail for him.
John and Jerry are still in jail.  V. hands him his stuff.  He hires
Alexis to handle the press. Alexis reiterates that he must not leave town.

Robin and Jason are at the cottage.  She asks if he can live
there.  Brenda liked to sit and watch the sunrise.  [Your Fearless
Updater doesn't believe this, by the way.  Brenda surely didn't rise
before noon.]  Jason says everyone he loved, loved Brenda.  He says she
never listened to anyone.  He got used to her.  Robin goes off to make tea.

Jax comes in and asks what the hell Jason is doing there. Robin comes
back in.  Jax had been worried that someone would break in.  Jax tells
Robin what's up with him.  They talk about Brenda. He can't buy the
cottage but hates the thought of strangers living there.  Robin tells him
Jason has quit the mob.

Alexis comes back to the station to tell Jax that there's a deal being
offered. She gives V. a very important note for him.

Jax tells Jason that his blood money should buy the cottage.  He's angry
at Jason for turning him in. Robin insists Jason didn't do it.  Jason
says he shredded the evidence. Jax tells Robin to live there.

Jason comments that Brenda told him Jax would rescue them and he thought
it was the stupidest thing he'd ever heard, but she was right.

Once Jax is alone, he calls about a flight to L.A.
