Quite a show today - a lot happened. Most of you probably saw this today, but for those who didnāt, here is my long version :o) lidia
*******************************
The ćNo Nameä Restaurant - Lucky & Liz
Lucky and Liz walk into an elegant reastaurant, having arrived by limo. They are all dressed up - Liz in a long gray dress w/ spaghetti straps, Lucky in black shirt and pants and a royal blue blazer. The maitreād is expecting them [addresses Lucky as Mr. Spencer] and leads them to their table. He tells them that their dinner is courtesy of Jason and that Jasonās orders were to ćmake sure they eat a lot. ä Liz is thrilled that Jason is treating them -- Lucky says Jason is a good man to work for. Liz wonders why the restaurant is called ćNo Nameä, Lucky tells her itās to discourage unwanted customers. She realizes that it must have mob connections - Lucky thought they would have more fun if they went somewhere no one knew them. Liz raises a toast Īto funā and they clink their empty glasses. They canāt seem to keep their eyes off of each other....
The maitreād asks to take their picture, Liz agrees. First they keep their chairs where they are and lean in toward the center of the table, but the maitreād keep telling them to move closer, They finally move their chairs closer and closer together until they are side by side. They lean into each other, both smiling nervously [especially Lucky]. They smile for the camera, then laugh nervously and move apart a bit and look at each other....
They are now eating dinner, Liz talking about what she wants to do with her life. She wants to be an artist [of course]; she wants to paint oil portaits that people hang over their fireplaces. Lucky is surprised - he thought she would be more into the wilder stuff. She wants to do that kind of art too, but sheād like to paint portaits, because they become part of a family and that would make her happy. Now itās Luckyās turn. His dream -- music, specifically writing songs. Liz is convinced he would be successful at it. The song he wrote for her - it was one of the best sheād ever heard. Lucky thinks sheās biased, but she admits the song made her feel special - as if ćsomeone looked into the realä Elizabeth. Lucky says he did. :o) She smiles as he remembers when he wrote the song. They were sitting in the boxcar, it was sundown. She was painting another picture for his TV, she brushed her hair out of her eyes and a melody came to him. She looked like an angel, just the way she looks tonight. Taking in Luckyās words, she nervously fidgets with her hair , saying that it turned out all wrong tonight. Lucky interrupts her - quietly telling her she looks beautiful, she is beautiful. Liz finally accepts the compliment and admits that when she was chasing him around, when they first met, her fantasy was that he would ask her out and take her to a fancy restaurant. And here they are. Lucky looks at her longingly, then asks her to dance. They walk to the dance floor hand in hand, and stand there a minute, before Liz takes his hand and they start slow dancing. [singer sings: ćThe little ordinary things that everyone ought to do--Iām living in a daydream--Iām happy as a king--and foolish, though it may seem--to me, itās everythingä].
Next song - theyāre dancing closer together, heads on each otherās shoulders, her hand on his chest. In Luckyās eyes it is evident that he is overcome by his feelings for Liz; Liz is holding on to him tight, her eyes closing slightly -- she looks calm, relaxed, safe in his embrace. They are holding right hands near his shoulder, his arms is around her waist. [singers sing: ćItās just--the very thought of you--my love] His arm moves down her shoulders and to her back. Liz decides to pull back from his embrace, they are face to face, their lips centimeters apart. She moves her hand toward his shoulders [as if she is about to reach for his face and kiss him]. Itās too much for Lucky -- he pulls away, his breathing labored. Just then the song ends. Liz asks him whatās wrong -- he smiles and admits that he needs to get the limo back to Jason. Lucky apologizes [for having this night come to an end??]. Liz thanks him for taking her to dinner -- she had a lovely time. They head toward their table where Liz picks up her purse [while Lucky catches his breath] and takes the red rose from the vase at their table. ćAnother souvenir..ä, she says as Lucky smiles and they leave, hand in hand.

Jasonās Penthouse - Jason & Robin ( & later Michael)
Robin is writing to a New Jersey music promoter about booking Luther. She asks Jason if the letter from Ferncliff was about Carly. Jason hasnāt seen the letter yet. He opens it and reads it -- Carlyās doctor says sheās making significant progress and now they can arrange for supervised visits. Robin is less than enthusiastic. jason tells Robin that when he sees Carly heāll tell her to ćfakeä [interesting choice of words] her complete recovery, then he can talk to the judge and get her released. Jason realizes that once Craly is home (and now that he will be a Īnormalā citizen, the Qs wonāt be able to get their hands on Michael. Robin wonders how soon Carly could be released - Jason thinks a few months. Robin is clearly not excited of the prospect of living with Carly. She tells Jason will be happy about Carly coming home. She seems worried about her future with Jason will be affected by Carlyās return.
Jason is calling Ferncliff to schedule an appointment with Carlyās doctor. Robin asks if he misses Carly. He tells her she *is* Michaelās mother. Robin wonders if Jason has though about the three of them living under the same roof. Jason feels they will find a way to make it work once Carly is home. Robin suggests joint custody of Michael and Jason seems surprised.
Robin is trying to convince Jason to have joint cusotdy of Michael. She tells him she was raised that way, but Jason is adamant. Robin tells him that she and Carly donāt get along - thereās no way they all could live together. But Jason wants to be a full-time dad to Michael, not 3-4 days a week. Robin asks him to at least think about it. Jason wants to work it out, but he doesnāt want to lose Robin or Michael in the process.
Jason is telling Michael that Carly is coming home soon. Things will be different, but he will still be Michaelās father. Michael babbles. Robin overhears Jason talking with Michael and smiles.

Justusā Penthouse - Justus & Taggert
Justus has given Taggert information about the Jacks familyās connections with the mob - money laundering, etc. - in the hopes of saving himself. Taggert tells Justus that heās not interested in the Jacks familyās business, since Sonny and Jason are not involved. He knows Justus killed a man and if the Jacks family is all heās got - heās in serious trouble. Justus is starting to look a bit worried.
Justus is rattling off various dealings of the Jacks family, still trying to sell them out to save himself. Taggert isnāt buying it. Justus wants Taggert to realize that he holds in his hands the roadmap to the bank accounts of organized crime leaders. Taggery sdays his job is to put criminals behind bars, not becoming a sound bite on the news - that doesnāt do it for him. If he was really interested in putting criminals away, heād arrest Justus and be done with it. But Justus asserts that itās an ego thing - he couldnāt bring down Sonny or Jason, so heāll use Justus. He tells Taggert that if the information about the Jacksās families dealings with the mob arenāt enough for him, heāll have to arrest him, because thatās all heās getting...
Taggert is getting angry now...he wants Justus to pay for his crime. Justus reminds him that he knows the circumstances - that he acted impulsively...Taggert asks if going to work for a rackateer was impulsive too? Taggert reminds Justus that heās had every opportunity and he chose the ćfast track to nowhereä. Taggert is getting emotional now -- he tells Justus how most criminals grow up hard, with crackhead mothers, fathers with tempers, neighborhoods where success means living past 17! The Wards were an inspiration to the community - and what did he do with their legacy? Killed a mamn, covered it up, signed on with a family thatās as rich as the Wards were honorable. Shame on him. taggert gives him an ultimatum - either Morgan goes down or he does. Justus still tries to convince him that the Jacks are bigger than Jason. Justus looks worried now - Taggert says itās Jason or himself -- the clock is ticking....
Justus thinks Taggert is bluffing - heās *still* trying to trade the Jacksā for himself. Taggert pull out the incriminating tapoe and hands it to Justus. Justus listens to a bit of it and wonders if Taggert made copies. Justus smiles as he hands Taggert the info on the Jacks family and tells him heāll see him on the 11 oāclock news. After Taggert leaves, Justus sighs with relief, thinking about what he has just done to save his own skin.
Justus is listening to the tape. He gets to ćletting an innocent woman stand trailä , then shuts it off. Then he destroys the tape and burns it, a strange smile on his face.

Taggertās place - Taggert & Dara
Dara is waiting outside of Taggertās place fo rhim. He tells her he saw Justus and gave him the tape. Dara thanks him. He tells her they are even now. She tells him she didnāt sleep with him to dave Justus - Taggert tells her the man she loved was in trouble; she did what she had to do. Dara tries to convince Taggert that she didnāt trade sex for Justusā freedom, she thought he knew her ebetter than that. Taggert says he doesnāt know the first thing about her. Dara thinks they need to talk this over - Taggert says ćsee you at work *Ms. Jensen* and not to worry - no one will ever get the wrong impression about them again as he closes the door in her face. She tried to convince him (through the door) that she cares more about him taht he realizes.....

Living Room of the Brownstone - Bobbie & Jerry
Bobbie & Jerry are engaged in post-nookie chatting. Jerry tells Bobbie that she has a comfortable floor, but he prefers beds. Bobbie tells him itās too soon for him to be in her bedroom -- sheās not ready to wake up next to him yet. Lucas might catch them or the neighbors might see him leave in the morning. Bobbie wants to take their relationship slowly. Jerry keeps trying to convince Bobbie to let him stay the night, finally trying a different tactic - he kisses her.
Jerry asks if he can call Bobbie again -- she says he better! Jerry offers to escort Bobbie to her room, since the power is still out (?) . Jerry then asks for a goodnight kiss - just one kiss, he tells her she can trust him....

Brendaās Cottage - Brenda & Jax
[Jax has just told Brenda that she has a 50% chance of inheriting the mental illness that her mother has.] They are hugging. Brenda wonders how Jax felt when she was in the psych ward - he admits he was frantic and desperate to help her. If he stays with her, heād feel that way all the time, she tells him. He tells her she is not crazy, just scared. She doesn' t want him to waste his life on her. He reminds her of the promise they made to each other - nobody leaves. She tells him that was before they found out she could be mentally ill....Jax tried to reassure her that she is sane now and as stroing as sheās ever been. Brenda belives that her ćbreakdownä over Sonny was the first evidence of the disease. jax feels it was an isolated incident - Sonny humiliated and abandoned her. Brenda wants to know what itās going to take to prove to him that she is sick -- taking scissors to her face again? He reminds her [again], that there is a 50% chance she *didnāt* inherit the gene -- before she starts diagnosing herself, why not take the test and find out for sure....
Brenda asks jax about the test. He tries to convince her to have it done, so she knows for sure. Brenda tells him that if she has the gene, she gets the disease, geos insane and dies - she says she doesnāt want to know. Jax tells her that if she has the gene, she could still have a normal life for a while. Brenda interjects angrily: waiting to go crazy and die?? Jax tells her that time goes on, a cure may be developed - itās too early to give upo hope. She says she would feel like there was a time bomb inside of her and at the slightest mood swings, she would immediately think : this is it, the end is near. She wonāt live like that. No test. Jax thinks itās a mistake, but itās her decision. She knows that taking the test is the right thing to do, but itās not what sheāll do. Brenda admits that sheās not afraid of losing her mind or her life -- itās Jax sheās scared of losing...
Jax tells her heās not going anywhere, bus she tells him she wonāt stay with him is she has the disease. She doesnāt want him to see her go crazy. He admits that he ould be devastated if she has the gene, but he wonāt stop loving her. Why is she pushing him away? She says sheāll run away and heāll never find her. Jax tells her theyāll wait together, hope together, and if she doesnāt want to find out now if she has the gene, theyāll always have each other. Brenda says heāll only have the memory of what might have been -- they canāt get married or have kids. Brenda doesnāt want to take any chances -- they need to end it now, anything else would be too hard. Jax tells her he wonāt be driven away or discouraged from loving her -- Goodbye isnāt in their vocabulary...
Jax understands that Brenda is acting out of panic - - Brenda tells him she is afraid she could lose it at any time. He reminds her that he made a committment to ehr - unconditional love. Whatever happens to her, happens to them. She just wants to protect him, but he tells her itās not her choice to make, especially since she doesnāt even know if she has the gene or not. Brenda then agrees to take the test if Jax agrees to leave her if she has it, but Jax says he wonāt. Brenda wants Jax to do all of things heās always dreamed of and have someone to share it with, someone who could give him children. Jax is fighting tears as Brenda tells him that, knowing he has these things would make anything she had to face so much easier. Brenda tells him to promise that heāll leave her when she asks him to, but Jax is adamant. Heāll never leave her, he tells her through his tears. Brenda is on the verge of tears as well.
Brenda wishes the doctorās plane had been delayed, so they couldāve had one last night of happiness. Jax tells her they have a lifetime of happiness ahead of them and that she is all the future he needs. He tells her if she becomes ill heāll use all of the resources he has to find a cure and if he canāt, heāll stay by her side, no matter what - thatās their agreement -- for better or worse, in sickness and in health, for as long as they both shall live, They kiss and hold each other -- nobody leaves.
