UPDATE JULY 23, 1998
 In which Ruby makes a surprise, though short, appearance.

1. L&L, PART TWO

Liz comes up to Lucky at Ruby's.  Is he avoiding her?  There are things
she wants to tell him... he's convinced she hates his song.  She loves
it.  It helps her sleep, and it's so perfect. He offers to walk her home.

After Lucky sees his mother (the next part) he tells Liz it wasn't so
good -- in a way because of her. He wanted Liz to be there to help him
explain.  Liz says he needs her, too, just a little.

2. PICNIC IN THE PARK

Luke lurks as Stefan plays with Lulu and cotton candy.  He tells some Nik
stories.  He tells about when he was 2 and not talking.  "No, King, that
chair is for my cat."  Laura reminisces about that chair.  Laura is sorry
she wasn't there for Nik.

Stefan and Nik leave, and Lucky comes by.  He has a short talk with
Laura.  He says the rape "doesn't change who I am, it changes me."

At Wyndemere, Nik is looking at Stefan, which is more interesting than
translating Cicero.

Katherine-the-ghost appears to Stefan and asks why he went to the picnic.

3. WEDDING EVE
Lucy was excited about the rehearsal, while Felicia looks sad.  They flip
a coin to see who goes first.  Mac and Felicia insist that Kevin and Lucy
go first.

V. tells Felicia SHE will tell Mac that Felicia loves him.  Felicia stops
her.  Kevin tells Mac it's normal to be defending himself and walling off
his emotions.  Inside Mac is dying for the wedding, but he can't show it
on the outside.

Lucy introduces Reverend McIntyre who is an expert in double weddings.

V. can't get Mac and Felicia to discuss it.  At the rehearsal, Kevin and
Lucy are excited, Mac and Felicia very noncommital.

The reverend asks Mac if everything is all right.

Mac and Felicia talk on the phone.  How are they going to get through
tomorrow?  "You're my bewst friend."  She cries when they hang up, and
has flashbacks.

4. L&L, PART ONE

Bobbie stops by to see Luke.  She wants to know about Jerry.  Luke says
he is trouble.  She likes Jerry.  He tells her about Laura's dinner with
Stefan, and then tells her about the park.  Bobbie tells Luke that Laura
should have a chance to tell him the truth.

Of course she doesn't but she tells about seeing Lucky.  She says she never
knows what will make Luke leave.  They hug and she cries.
