My apologies that this is a bit late, but I'm in the process of
renovating my house, and I haven't a great deal of spare time
these days...

At the Brownstone:

Bobbie comes home after a night shift at GH and hears someone
in her dining room. "Lucky?" she asks. "Not yet, but you can't blame
me for trying," Jerry replies, and Bobbie enters the room to find
the table set for breakfast. Jerry explains that the reason he
broke into the brownstone was to cheer Bobbie up in the wake of
Carly's incarceration. They toast to better times ahead. Jerry
asks if there's any news about Carly's condition. "No, it's the
same," Bobbie replies. Jerry cajoles her into enjoying the rather
large gourmet breakfast.

At the PCPD:

Mac is on the phone with the mayor, saying "we're not wasting time,
we're being thorough," and then brushes him off when Robin
enters. Mac proudly hands Robin the registration forms for Yale, but
Robin says she's decided not to go back there. They argue over Jason
and the right college. Mac says Robin is using Jason to avoid getting
on with her life. Robin redirects the conversation: "Just like you're
using me right now?"

Breakfast at the Q's:

Edward and AJ argue whether or not to acquire a software company.
Edward obliquely accuses AJ of not knowing the first thing about
business. They spar briefly about business acumen and then segue
into Carly, both blaming each other that she's headed for the nuthouse,
and will be unable to help them acquire Michael. Alan enters the
room, artificially happy. "Good Morning America," he says, and
tries to insert a rose through his lapel. AJ notes that his lapel
buttonhole is sewn up, while Edward sighs and fumes about Alan's
altered state. Reginald announces Jason.

Jason accuses Edward of manipulating Carly. They have the same
argument over whom Michael belongs to. AJ interjects and asks
Jason if he really thinks about Michael when he shuttles him off
to islands unknown in order to conduct mob business. "Was he
safe?" he asks, "Or is it acceptable to take the same risks
with Michael that you take yourself?" Jason replays argument
#2: He'll protect Michael, And #3: The Q's want to own Michael,
and that's bad. He then postures, saying he'll have to make the
Q's listen by taking away the thing that they really want: Money.
He threatens to muck up the dock renovation.

Alan interrupts and shows just how far gone he really is by actually
quoting The Captain and Tenille: "Love will keep us together," he
says, and then decides that what they really need is a nice
picnic. "You're stoned," Jason says, stating the obvious, and then
lobs a new grenade Edward's way: Surely no one will award custody
of Michael to a family with a junkie in the house.

At the PCPD:

Robin says Mac's focusing on her to avoid thinking about his wedding.
She accuses Mac of being too casual about the whole thing. Mac
says he and Filly have known each other for years, so getting married
really isn't a big deal. "I think it's just the opposite," Robin observes.

At the Brownstone:

Jerry asks Bobbie what he needs to do to win her over. After some
brief mulling, Bobbie says he can start by buying Lucas a baseball
to replace the one lost in the fire. Jerry agrees, but not until
Bobbie agrees to stop worrying so much about other people and
take care of herself. He offers his own private pampering service.
Bobbie thinks Jerry's being a bit forward, but when Jerry asks if
she'd rather that he tiptoe around the truth, she says "no". "Then
you should know that I've wanted to kiss you from the moment I saw
you," Jerry says, "And the fact that I haven't exhibits an inordinate
restraint on my part." "Well, keep up the good work," Bobbie replys
coyly, then leaves to change her clothes, telling him to "stick around."
"I thought you'd never ask," Jerry mutters.

When he's alone, Jerry chats with Pappa Jacks on his cellphone. They
rehash the Sonny/Carlos thing, and Jerry asks: "What about Jax?"
Pappa Jacks wants Jax to remain ignorant (not a difficult task...). He
doesn't want him involved.

Bobbie reenters, as Jerry ends the phone call. Jerry kisses her, and
they both clearly enjoy it. He invites her to slug him if she wants
to, but she declines. Bobbie turns to leave and Jerry asks where
she's going. "Out," she replies. "What about me?" he says. "You need
to do the dishes," she quips and then pauses at the door, inviting him
to make breakfast again sometime. When she leaves, Jerry calls
someone and asks them to tell him everything they know about
baseball...

At the Q's:

AJ confronts Alan about his drug abuse. Alan is in no condition to
listen. Edward says that if Alan does one more thing to embarrass
the family, he'll have him out of here as soon as he can draw up the
papers...

At Mac's Office:

Robin and Mac are still arguing over Mac's lackadaisical approach to
his impending nuptials. Mac says he has a lot of other things to
contend with right now: The Hospital murders and Katherine's
death. Robin shifts gears: "Stefan goes on trial soon," she says.
She asks if Nik will be called to testify, and Mac says yes. She
asks if she will be, and Mac replies that he doesn't know. Robin
says she doesn't want to be surprised. Mac sees his opportunity and
commandeers the conversation: "Well, surprise me and sign up
for classes at Yale," he says. Robin restates her position (no way)
and leaves. "Don't even think of bringing Jason to the wedding,"
Mac mutters to the closed door.

At the Penthouse:

Jason's on the phone telling The Gummies to ruin the dock project.
Bobbie drops by to see Michael, but he's asleep. She and Jason
chat about Michael and how good Jason is with him. Jason tells
her that Carly was faking her dementia. Bobbie is PO'ed. Jason
tells her why: Carly thought she had to do it to stay out of jail.
Bobbie softens. She tells him about her restraining order against
Tony, but makes it clear that she doesn't want him "taken care of."
Jason assures her that Robin wants the same thing. He leaves
to get Michael as Robin walks in. She and Bobbie chat about Carly
and Bobbie asks Robin how she likes taking care of Michael.

At the Q's:

The argument continues. Alan leaves, but remains outside the
door, listening. AJ and Edward segue back to Michael. AJ
says they could try using Robin to get to Jason. Edward says
they'll have to get Alan straight first. AJ suggests an intervention.
Edward asks if it involves finding Alan's drugs and taking them
away... and upon hearing that, Alan leaves the mansion in a panic.
AJ explains to Edward what an intervention is. They spar over
who should be present and where it should occur. AJ finally
agrees to keep the attendees to immediate family.

In a Dark Alley:

Alan, upset that his stash might be confiscated, tries to set up a
deal with his dealer: to meet him on a more regular basis to stock
his coffers. The Dealer balks at the idea: "What do I look like, the milk
man?"

At the Penthouse:

Robin says that she loves Michael and she's happy to care for him. She
assures Bobbie that she's never take him away from Carly. Bobbie
seems content with that. She's happy Robin's there to help care for
Michael in Carly's absense.

At the Brownstone:

Jerry's package arrives, and it's more than just a baseball. There's
also a new bat and glove to go along with it. Jerry places the gifts
out for Lucas and leaves, no doubt hoping the equipment will earn
both the recipient and the giver a home run....

At the Q's:

Edward and AJ discuss where the intervention should be. AJ suggests
a picnic, since Alan was so excited about the idea of one earlier, and
he says he'll set the whole thing up. Edward remarks that he's always
been very hard on Alan "But he's my son," he says, "and I don't want
to lose him."

On the Waterfront:

Jerry and Jax chat about the work slowdown. Jerry says there
must be a way to negotiate with Jason without involving the Q's.
"So, how are things going with Bobbie?" Jax inquires, assuming
she's part of Jerry's solution. Jerry assures him that if he's
persuing Bobbie Spencer, it's because she's "a woman and a half...
and... yes, there might be a business advantage. But..." he adds, "let's
get our priorities straight: The purpose of money is to get women,
not the other way around..."

At the Penthouse: Everyone fawns over Michael. Bobbie leaves,
reassured that Michael with be okay.

At the Q's: Brenda enters looking for Ned, but he's been delayed. While
they wait, AJ decides to unburden his troubled soul and tells Brenda
about Alan's drug addiction. Brenda looks pensive, as if contemplating
her next outfit.

In the Dark Alley: Alan convinces the dealer to meet him on a regular
basis. The dealer leaves and Alan is struck from behind by a mugger,
who steals his wallet and assorted other pocket-sundries.

End of Update!
