"I AM THE GOD OF HELL FIRE. UM, WHERE'S MY FLINT?."

Mac's got Jerry at the precinct, making him squirm over the
fact that Jer is the Commish's #1 suspect in the warehouse
arson.

Meanwhile, in the aftermath, Robin and Jason are hovering
the crime scene as Brenda sits forlorn on a crate. They
attempt to convince Ms. Barrett to go back to the penthouse;
even though firefighters pronounce that no one could
live through the inferno, she refuses to accept it and just
as she's about the leave with J & R, Jax and Sonny emerge
from what's left of the structure.

In SuperSloMoª action, Brenda races towards the men, who
both look hopeful that he'll be the one she embraces; we see
Sonny's head turn to follow her progress to Jax. If looks could
speak, the one Jax sent to Sonny would say "See. She cares more
about me me ME." If looks could speak, the one Sonny sent to
Jax would say "*pout.*"

Filly shows up at the precinct, shortly followed by the
charred survivors and their accompanying support systems.

Mac rounds up the usual suspects for questioning, but
Justus announces himself to protect the innocent.

Jax explains to Jerry that he escaped the blaze by following
Sonny through a convenient trap door; Robin takes the
opportunity to place laurels over Sonny's head for getting
both men out.

When Mac starts to question Jason and Sonny about the fire
and the contents of the warehouse, Corinthos points a
finger at Taggert as the culprit. Marcus rebuts.

The Jacks brothers talk about business and the fire, and
without directly accusing, Jax alludes he knows very
well how the fire got set and by whom, then leaves.

Mac and Filly get into a debate about Robin's choice in men,
which ends up as a debate over Felicia's choice to defend
Tony. Who happens to conveniently wander in and have brief
words with Jason and Sonny. Under the impression that
he was called in for questioning, he found otherwise
when Mac informed him he was busted for violating the
restraining order that was intended to keep the doctor
away from Lucas.

While that little family drama was going on, Justus was
trying to get Dara to go out on a date with him, but
couldn't get anywhere. She explained that it was bad
enough that he was representing Jason, but Sonny on top
of it?

Again, he asked for a date, but she claimed she already
had a date with Taggert for the evening in question.
Justus splits. Dara brushes past Taggert with some
hostility.

At the Q mansion, Edward enters the main room to see the
spread Reggie and Cook laid out (Huevos Rancheros ... mmm)
and pass over the feast. AJ comes in and the two speculate
over various means by which Carly can be manipulated to
suit their evil purposes. Just as they're about to do some
serious hand-rubbing, a majorly strung-out Alan walks in
and heads straight for the bar. Ed & AJ take their plans elsewhere.

Lila wheels in silently and surprises her son; he offers
excuses, she cries in disappointment and exits.

Emily comes down, sees Alan holding his hand and inquires
about his pain; he acknowledges it, and rebuffs her attempts
to get him outside. She leaves.

Edward and AJ reenter, this time with Ned. They fill Alan
in on the warehouse fire, and trash him for his stupor. When
Dr. Q. announces his upcoming departure to address the WHO
in London, they break it to him that no way will they allow
this pathetic being to represent General Hospital - instead
they've sent Monica. Alan does not react well, but they
shout him down.

AJ gets his father alone to get the point accross that he feels
Alan's pain, both in chemical dependency and especially in the
Family Scapecoat department, but Alan's not in the mood to
accept his situation as anything other than unique.

Emily and Ned are glancing over her faux-modeling shoot
photos when Lo! An agency representative calls with an
offer Emily doesn't want to refuse, and she puts Ned up
to being her personal agent. He sets up an app't for a
test shoot. Emily squeals with delight.

Edward re-enters and says something about some photos
hanging on Emily's wall - what kind of parents would allow
their daughter to pose like that - then pulls AJ back outside.
They end the day as they started it. Hand-rubbing and hatching
diabolical plans for Carly.

Back at the penthouse, on the white-sheeted bed, Jax and
Brenda spend a few scenes re-affirming their happiness
at being alive and together. Okay, they broke for some plot
oriented dialogue when she asked if it was Jerry who set
the fire, and got put out at Jasper's acceptance/avoidance.

At Sonny's penthouse, he and Jason confab a reaction; Sonny
warns Jason that to retaliate against Jerry would bring
more trouble than it would be worth. Carlos' involvement,
OTOH, was quite vengeable.

Robin comes downstairs (Jason offered her the use of Carly's
clothes! She declined.) to express her joy that Sonny
survived the fire. She goes on to thank him for shaping
Jason's life in a way that made him her prefect mate.
And for Stone before that, which makes me wonder, why
doesn't she stop going after Sonny's pupils and make
a play for the original article?

Jason comes back down with BBQ; they lapse into jokes
about Jason's cooking and enjoy a happy family-type
scene.

Bobbie and Jerry end up together on the docks, flirting.
Bobbie offers him a dinner date, but he declines because
of business duties, and confirms her spec that there could
be danger involved.
