Alan loses it yet again in front of his bewildered family, a fit of anger
provoked by whatever. After he thunders out, Monica asks AJ to keep
quiet about the scene and not make it a subject for gossip.

Talk turns to BBQ and Monica suggests AJ pay a visit to Carly; he's
against the idea.

Carly did get a visit from Robin, though. The gist:

Robin: I know Jason's status but I won't tell you.
Carly: You smug bitch.
Robin: Am not.
Carly: Are too.
Robin: So what?

Jerry attempts and apparently fails to get a date with Bobbie for the
Nurse's Ball. As Bobbie and Lucas drift away from the docks, Carlos
approaches, accuses Jacks of betrayal, and threatens both the family
and the family business.

Over lunch, Brenda tells Jax what she knows about her mother. Which
isn't much - she went barefoot in designer gowns, took milkbaths
in a jade tub, dug Wagner, BB King, Cognac, and her fondness
for cigarettes caused a fire in which "someone maybe was hurt."
After abandoning the family, her mother was seen in the
African mountains, complete with worshipping cult, and was said
to have died on some stretch of the Riviera.

Sounds like yer basic PCMDT type.

Lucky and Liz gave us peak of their upcoming Nurses' Ball performance,
practicing moves to an Elvis number. As they were attempting to puff
up each other's confidence for the show, Robin wandered in looking
for Alan.

Who wandered into Tony's clinic, looking for drugs. He kissed up to
Tony in a big way, and held out the carrot of a return to GH once
the stint at the clinic was up. Then asked for hydrocodone.

Tony baited his old friend, then declined.

Lucas begged Bobbie to allow him to see his dad again. She declined.

Brenda (wearing some mighty cool sunglasses even if the look was
so four years ago) arrived at the hospital gym as L & L2 were
wrapping up their biz, and ran into Robin, who was still looking
for Alan, and wasn't feeling all that confident about Jason's
absence after all, either.

Brenda: Been there, done that.

Carly met with a doctor/examiner and laid out what was
on her mind, regarding her relationship with Jason and
Michael.

When Jax wrang a peel over his brother's head for a disappearing
act, Jerry moved to talk of Bobbie, til Jax brought it back to
bizness matters. Someone was dickering with the family
accounts; Jax put the blame at bro's door, and put him
to work, ordered him to get to the bottom of the matter.

Tony's next visitor at the clinic was Bobbie, who brought
the gift of a restraining order - come within 500 yards
and be busted.

Monica was flashing back to her last, disastrous attempt at
lovemaking with Alan when Robin called w/news that
the good doctor was AWOL.

Where he was, was on the docks in a most fearsome temper, and
prepared to buy hydromorphone from Handy Andy. He bought, he
swallowed, he closed his eyes and relaxed.

About one year ago this week: Police were questioning suspects
and gathering evidence from Dorman's murder. Bobbie and
Luke reunited to work together against Stefan. Jax volunteered
to sponsor the Nurse's Ball.
