Cassadines

Morning

Stefan fishies around to find out what his nephew was
doing out so late the previous evening. Nik tells him that
he was providing moral support for Robin, in her distress
over the plane crash. And that he'd like to know if his
uncle was at all responsible for the crash. Stef cries
innocent and is about to tell him why he's got better things
on his mind when Katherine comes downstairs and the pair
announce their engagement. Nik's delighted.

Waterfront

Alexis is impatiently awaiting Luke when he comes up to
her, clutching his bleeding stomach. He tells her to run!
Helena's coming after her next! Instead, Alexis whips
out her cellular phone to call 911. Luke grabs it with a
"sorry, just kidding" explanation. He's testing her. Alexis
is not amused.

In a spliced montage, Luke and Alexis' plans for Helena's
demise are intercut with Bat and Kat's party plans. I'm not
even going to try to do the scenes justice, but suffice to say,
the party plans are set for May 22 at Wyndemere. Stefan
proclaims a masked ball - the family tradition of Bacchanalia.
Open to everyone. / Luke and Alexis decide they need a public
event, where they can don disguises.

Quartermaines

Are all hovering over the bassinet, cooing over BBQ, when
AJ suggest they all give the poor kid some air. Amidst all
the hand wringing over Jason, Edward adopt's a cavalier
attitude.

Nuthouse.

Bobbie pays a visit to Carly, carrying fashion and decorating
magazines. What Carly wants is to hear Michael's voice;
on cue, Ned arrives to tell them about his family's hijacking
of BBQ's custody. Carly wigs out, and Bobbie makes a bee line
for the Quartermaine mansion.

The family is discussing turning Alan's exercise room
into a nursery - Emily keeps reminding Edward that BBQ's
presence is only temporary. Of course, Edward says. AJ gets
a little bonding scene as well - when Bobbie crashes in and
reminds everyone that she's the kid's grandmother, too, and
slaps them around for stealing BBQ from his home.

The family assumes Justus told Bobbie the news, and she
doesn't correct them. Monica invites Em to take the baby
out of the room so they can all have another round.
Bobbie stands up for Carly's rights and rings a peel over all
their heads, which leads the family to call her self-righteous.

Bobbie and Monica then go into a debate over who's children
are the worse spawn and Bobbie storms out.

Alexis is in the process of putting her feet up on the Barcolounger
when she gets a surprise visit from Ned. She's leery, he's got
a job for her.

He fills her in on the BBQ/Jason/Carly situation, and tells her
he wants her to represent Carly's attempted homicide case.
"I'm a lawyer, not a magician," she says. They debate the
conflicts of interest she would appear to have in the case,
and Alexis asks for a few days to think about it. As he's
leaving, Ned claims that this case will have no influence
on the current state of their relationship.

Jail

Justus is laying on a cot when Dara comes in and wants to know
why he's refusing bail. He tells her it's the only way he knows
of to spend time with the ADA and not have their relationship
look fishy. He welcomes her into his cell, but she tells him
he's wasting both their time, and leaves.

And comes back with a speech about all of her professional
achievements, and how she gave up the idea of having both a
career and a guy, and how she started to give up that idea
when Justus came along, and how his presence almost screwed
once and it wasn't going to happen again.

Besides, word on the street is Justus is prepping to take
over Jason's biz, should the mobster not return. He refutes
and tries to cozy, but she'll have none of it, and leaves
again.

Restaurant

Lucky and Liz are leaving from their meal at the shop where the
ex-Mrs. Murty works as a waitress. Lizzie approaches her and asks
for her help. Mrs. M says they're off their rockers, and tries to
leave. Lucky mentions a past domestic violence call and again
they try her, but she won't help them, she says.

L & L bring up Liz's rape and tell the Mrs what they suspect
about the Mr. The waitress tells them she's sympathetic,
but refuses to get involved and leaves. Lucky insists they'll
get Murty another way.

Later at Wyndemere, Stef and Kat start making arrangements
when he shows her the ring he's going to put on her finger
 - she holds out her hand, ring finger extended; he snaps the
box shut - in front of the party crowd.

While, on the docks, Nik runs into Luke and informs him
there'll be a major engagement party at his house on May 22
and Luke's not invited. In fact, he's so uninvited that
Nik's already ordered security to take Luke out back
and shoot him (so I'm paraphrasing) if he even tries to
crash the gates.

Bobbie returns to Carly and tries to infuse some hope
into the situation, while more handwringing ensues at
the Quartermaine residence. In the background, most
of the family is cooing around BBQ, but in the foreground,
Edward's on the phone with a judge, trying to insure that
Carly will be locked up for a long, long time.
