UPDATE THURSDAY APRIL 30

Yay yay yay! A Brenda-and-Jax free day!

However, I did get:

ST. ROBIN MAKES IT ALL BETTER

Tony is in his hospital bed, having nightmares about Jason. Robin comes
in. He is annoyed that no one comes to visit him. She would like him to
promise not to try to kidnap Michael any more. He says he'll forgive
her [EXcuse me? Who held whom against their will, and endangered her
health?], because she's obviously besotted with Jason, but Jason will end
up killing her. Robin can't believe Tony still believes he did the right
thing. Robin tells him that Jason does indeed know right from wrong.
Tony tells her Jason threatened him. Your Fearless Updater thought that
Robin was looking surprised about the depths of Tony's madness, but later
it appears she was only looking determined to sort Jason out, too.

Later she runs into Jason at the Penthouse. She has been feeding
Michael, and it would seem that Carly got it 100% right that she's
envious of Carly's life and Carly's baby. She tells Jason about seeing
Tony and tells Jason he was wrong to threaten Tony. "Promise you won't
hurt Tony." Jason tells Robin that Michael doesn't care. St. Robin is
righteous. "Call me if you need help."

2. CARLY GOES AWAY

Jason and Justus are visiting Carly in jail. She will be transferred to
a psychiatric facility. "Tony Jones is the psycho here, not me. He's
the one who should be in the padded cell." Justus explains to her that
it is a good move for her. Jason wants to arrange a last visit with
Michael. Justus tells her not to lose heart. Jason thinks maybe the
judge could get sick and a better one take over. This appals Justus, who
tells them (looking at Carly, but meaning Jason) that they can work
within the system. Carly thinks Tony's probably happy Carly shot him.
Jason assures her Tony is not laughing.

Carly asks how long she will be at the psych. facility. She worries that
they'll decide she's crazy, but Jason is calling in favors. Justus and
Jason leave by one door to go get Michael, and Bobbie comes in the other
door.

Carly is surprised she came. Bobbie tells her she'll look in on Michael
every day. Carly thinks of Bobbie and Michael all the time. Now she
understands how Bobbie felt giving her up, and she apologizes for the
pain she caused. Bobbie tells her to focus on her own problems. Every
thought in her mind should be to get back to Michael. Carly's worried
that Michael will forget her. Bobbie assures her he won't. "Take it one
step at a time." Carly frets about the post-partum depression and Bobbie
assures her she'll come back again.

When Jason comes back with Michael, it's apparent that Robin has traded
him for a doll. Carly loves holding Michael, and then they take her away.

3. HELENA BAITS THE HOOK

Nik notes a trunk in the sitting room. It has come for Stefan.

Helena smiles at Ari as he walks past. She gazes at a key and
behold! There is Stefan. He didn't know
about the trunk. "Perhaps you were in the guest quarters enjoying the
favors of Ms. Bell when it arrived. You ARE pathetic! Waiting your whole
life for the perfect woman, and then marrying Bobbie Spencer Jones,
instead? And then getting involved with this Bovine Peasant. [YAY,
Helena!!] A cook's daughter? Please please promise me that you will not
embarrass the family by asking her to marry you." [See how she sets the
hook.] Stefan says she is no position to give marital advice. Helena
says she had a long happy marriage with Mikkos till he was murdered by
Luke Spencer, "whose head you would have sent me long ago if you were any
kind of man." He tells her she is a nuisance and she's going home now.
He has cleaned out her bank accounts. They posture and threaten back and
forth. She gives him her key. "You are a weakling, Stefan. Do you
honestly think that you can intimidate me?" He leaves, and whaddaya
know, there's Luke on the Swiss Cheese Yacht, rising up behind the bar.

Ari returns, and Luke sasses him and ties him up. He smokes a cigar, and
surprises Helena. "I'm here to kill you." "Your threats are becoming
tiresome." Luke asks what was in the trunk. He's angry about the faked
beaten-Laura pictures. He assures Helena she will die for what she did
to his son. Then: "I'm not going to kill you right now." He wants to
surprise her. She surprises him with the news that Stefan went to see
Laura in North Carolina. They continue the death-flirtation, with poor
Ari as the example victim. Finally Luke downs the wine he'd convinced
Helena was poisoned, and leaves.

Back at Wyndemere, it becomes apparent that Stefan has swallowed the
bait, hook, line and sinker. Nik wants to open the trunk, he's dying of
curiousity. Stefan asks Nik how he would feel if he (Stefan) asked
Katherine to marry him. Nik thinks it would be great. Nik still wants
to open the trunk, but Stefan puts him off. He opens it when Nik leaves.
[Meanie!] There are Nik's baby shoes, a doll, and a jewelry box. The
latter contains a ring, and Stefan recalls Laura giving it to him as she
leaves the Cassadine Island.

4. PHYSICIAN, HEAL THYSELF

Alan drifts through the hospital halls. He takes some pills, then goes
in to see Tony. Tony asks Alan how he's feeling. Tony wants to hear
that Carly has lost Michael. Tony says "No shrink worth his salt would
not say that she is completely out of her mind." [Pot. Kettle. Black.]
Alan says "Let me tell you something. There are a lot of people in this
town who think YOUR elevator doesn't go to the top floor either!" Tony
says if Alan really cared about his grandson he'd do everything he could
to get him away from Jason and Carly. Alan tells Tony he's lost his
doctor's privileges at G.H. He should go see Gail. Tony says he's fine.
He says ALAN is the one who should go to a doctor. Alan says if Tony
comes near Michael again he'll shoot him himself. "Hate me all you want,
Alan, I know what it's like to lose a child." Tony gets quite
diabolical, playing on guilt, picturing a small coffin lowered into the
ground. "SHUT UP!!" Alan shouts. Jason LOVES Michael. He storms out,
quite shaken, and Tony permits a small evil smile to play across his face.
