UPDATE THURSDAY APRIL 23

Shakespeare's Birthday...

1. On Wyndemere

Nik comes to Robin at the courthouse. He wants to know why she's sitting
around. She's puzzled that Alexis took on Tony's case. Nik wants to
take her to dinner at Wyndemere. There are grilled lamb chops on the
menu. [Your Fearless Updater notes that this is the second Thursday in a
row to feature lamb chops. Some writer is obsessed.] Robin agrees.

Mrs. Lansbury takes their coats. Katherine interrupts, of course. She
tells about Devlin's murder. She's off to Deception. St. Robin tries to
explain about her testimony but Katherine says it's just like her getting
back with Stefan. [Uh-huh. Equally incomprehensible. Gag me.] "As
long as you know what you're doing is right." Katherine is really sorry
she can't stay for dinner [wouldn't Nikolas just love that?]

Robin and Nik look at pictures. This dinner is doomed, because then
Helena comes in. Nik tells Helena off. [Your Fearless Updater was
shocked, SHOCKED I tell you, that St. Robin didn't leap to the poor old
grandmother's defense.] He throws her out.

Robin and Nik talk about the Cluny. YFU has been to the Cluny. That was
nice. Then Robin looks at an epee but thinks it's too dangerous for her to
learn to fence. Nik is showing her some moves and, AGAIN, Katherine
interrupts. It's definitely time for Robin to go home.

2. At LUKE's

Luke is listening to his bug on Helena's yacht. Jason comes in. Luke is
pleased that his garbage is being picked up during the strike, but "you
didn't come here to talk trash. What's up?" Benny told Jason that Lucky
is on Helena's yacht. Luke knew, he's not listening to Books on Tape.
Does Luke want Lucky followed?

Jason asks Luke if Robin is safe with Nik. Luke, of course, thinks Nik
is as bad as all the other Cassadines. Luke goes off to deal with a
supplier. When he comes back, he's in no mood for crap. He leaves Jason
in the office and goes out.

Mike comes in and talks to Jason, asking about Michael. Jason is not
sure Tony is going to jail. He doesn't understand Robin any more. If
Tony goes free, however, "in the end, it's not going to matter very
much." Mike warns him to stick with Michael more than to get revenge.

Jason finishes doing the books as Luke blasts back in. Jason has
"taken care of" the supplier. Luke goes for the earphone after Jason
leaves. Helena is looking at the trunk. She opens it, and says "Laura"
which really gives Luke something to think about.

3. At the Dock

Helena meets Alexis. Helena wants to know how Tony's defense is going.
Alexis is a little snippy. "You are making sure," insists Helena, "that
he won't have to pay for this ridiculous lapse of protocol?" Helena has
a file to make Dara negotiate. Alexis looks at it. She lurks at the
dock.

Luke comes up and overlooks the file. He asks "Natasha" if she's having
"second doubts about defending Tony." Luke wants to know why Helena is
helping Tony. Alexis warns him that Lucky is Helena's errand boy. Luke
says "one day Helena will ask you to do something that's going to turn
your stomach." Alexis says "That day has already dawned.

Alexis goes to see Dara, who is quite rude till Alexis shows her the
file. Dara caves.

Helena, coming back from Wyndemere, runs into Katherine, who is her usual
bad-mouthed self. Helena says to Katherine's back: "You will regret
that." [Yay Helena!]

4. At the Outback [Why Me, Oh Lord?]

Jax is at the Outback, looking at the news about Dr. Devlin. He tells
Clyde or whoever the bartender is that Jason Morgan probably did it. He
asks where V. is.

Brenda comes in. She's surprised to see Jax, she is there to meet
someone about a series of national car commercials. Jax orders champagne
for her and her blossoming career, and leaves. The producer comes and he
and Brenda talk. They toast in the champagne, Brenda with her pinky up.
Miss Manners needs to talk to this girl. Brenda excuses herself
and the producer calls Jax. Brenda overhears of course and leaves in a huff.
