UPDATE THURSDAY MARCH 26

1. A Crack in the Crystal Tree

Katherine comes from upstairs [And why was she there? She's still
acting like the Lady of the Manor, but in reality she is still the
Secret in the Guesthouse]. She sees presents on the table. Of course,
she examines them, and Stefan is lurking. They kiss. He tells her he
went to see Laura. For a second, Katherine looks vulnerable.

Stefan went for Nikolas, to tell Laura Nik was provoked into telling about
the rape. [Like Laura is going to accept that?] However, he didn't actually
talk to Laura, but their eyes met. [When she didn't race across the field
in slow-mo and throw herself into his arms, he chickened out.] He has
decided "Laura will know what she knows when she knows it."

The presents are riding clothes. Katherine wasn't, she admits, all that
serious about learing to ride. However, she goes upstairs [? See earlier
tirade] to change.

2. Lucky? I Think Not

Amy and Lucky are at the desk. Your Fearless Updater is stunned that
Amy hasn't Told All to Lucky about the rape by now. Nik comes up and
talks to Lucky. He apologizes for telling him about the rape. He
suggests they continue not to like each other, but only based on themselves,
not on their families.

Luke comes into the Brownstone with Bobbie carrying groceries. He wants
to buy the food. However, he's astonished when she gets him to pay and
thank her for the privilege. She laughs and explains it's an old hooker
trick.

Enter thundercloud Lucky. "What is he doing here?"

Luke wants him to come home. Lucky says no, and adds that Luke doesn't
understand that word. Lucky tells about meeting Nik. Bobbie overhears
Lucky ask what kind of woman marries a rapist. He also says maybe Luke
didn't tell Laura because he's still a coward. Bobbie storms in, Luke
leaves. Bobbie tells Lucky off, reminding Your Fearless Updater of the
time she tried to stop him from keeping a pet spider and eating under the
table. This time there's no Laura to spring to his defense, though.
Bobbie tells Lucky that if he can't live by her rules ("grownup Spencers are
always right") to leave, and he does.

Luke clears the club of customers and staff, then gets a gun and a drink.

3. A Slow and Painful Death

AJ, at the hospital, spies Carly and sits next to her. He tells her he's
sorry about Michael and that he understands now how a parent wouldn't
want to lose a child. Carly says "Whoever did this should die a slow and
painful death ant then burn in Hell." CUT TO Tony coming into the closet
with food for Robin. He wants her to eat and have a couple more
aspiring. He babbles, but you can tell he is not entirely Compos Mentos.

AJ tells Carly he's helping with the search. She asks if he would still
try to take the baby from her, and he says he understands better. Carly
is thinking about telling him. She thanks him for being nice.

Robin tells Tony he has to give himself up. She keeps trying to convince
him that she's really sick. "You can't keep me here like this any longer."

Tony gets flustered. His well-laid plan had started to go wrong. Robin:
"Are you hearing how crazy that sounds?" Tony: "Who would have thought
you were going to be sick? I am not a bad person! I am a doctor, Robin!"

He plans to get antibiotics and then move his schedule up. He locks her
in. "Tony, please!" she weakly protests.

Tony comes by the hospital desk for the prescription, snaps at Amy and
blows Alan (who may have wanted to talk about his addiction) off. On the
way back to the cabin, he gets a flat tire.

4. Jason on the Trail, and a Second Crack on the Crystal Tree

Jax is on the phone, Brenda looking worried. Jax tells his henchman that
it might be Sonny. Jason comes in.

"Where is she?" Brenda shrieks. "That's what you have to tell me."
Brenda starts to babble and Jason tells her "You don't understand how
things work, Brenda, you never did." He finally gets through. She tells
him about the breakfast Robin was to organize and Robin's comment about
not getting paid for things she wanted to do in the first place. Jason,
the only customer of the Port Charles Clue Shop, thinks about Nikolas.
He leaves.

Jax tells Brenda that Robin being here is his fault. However, if she
hadn't come he'd have had Brenda readmitted to the loony bin [Saint
Lily's cure or not.] They reminisce about his first time to meet Robin,
water-skiing, and what a survivor she is.

Jason goes to Spoon Island. Stefan tries to keep him away from Nik,
threatening to kill him, among other things. [Your Fearless Updater was
truly annoyed when Stefan talked about Jason's nasty business and how
innocent people get hurt. Who was it, oh Hypocrite Cassadine, who had
George buried secretly and didn't let his worried wife and son know he
was dead?] "It's regrettable" he mealy-mouths, "when innocents
suffer." Katherine comes down with the riding togs, and is on Jason's
side. [Payback, Your Fearless Updater thinks, for Stefan's trip to
North Carolina.]

Nik comes in and immediately asks if Robin is all right, since he's been
trying to call her. They talk about the winter picnic and Nik mentions
the receipt. Jason figures out it's Tony, races off, with Nik protesting
"It COULDn't be Dr. Jones!" "Oh yes, it is!" Jason flings back.
