Jimmy-Mac

Filly spent the day training Mac to improve his imitation of James
doing his imitation of Mac. This included: having more suave
manners, buying an engagement ring, whistling surf tunes,
with a little more feeling, please, and how he hugged her. At this,
things started to get a little flirty; Robin came by though, and Mac
dropped everything to catch up with her. When his niece went
upstairs, Felicia informed Mac that Jimmy blew Robin off at
every turn, and Mac should do the same, or risk putting her
in danger. When Robin came back downstairs, he followed those
instructions and Robin left, bummed at the attitude switch. Next,
Filly decided that Mac needed to know how to kiss like Jimmy,
whose smooches were in less of a rush than Mac's.

After that training session, Felicia got turned on. Mac got hungry,
and ignored her hint that she could be dinner if he wished.

Teen Scene

Kelly's was a little colder than usual when Emily ran into Sarah
Webber. Ms. W didn't hide that she was upset about the progression
of Em and Nik's activities. When Robin came in, Emily introduced
her new friend to her old friend, and her new friend left.

(misc: When Em inquired on Lizzie's truancy, Sarah told her it was
the flu)

Emily told Robin about Nik's situation and asked for advice and help.
Ms. Scorpio suggested turning him on to speaking in French, that
maybe he'd feel less pressure, and have an easier time of it.

Alan's Little Helpers

Alan had just phoned in yet another pill prescription - 50 count -
when Monica came upon him in the family room. He explained that
he'd dropped a bunch of medical appointments to catch up on
admin paperwork. That's second time this month, she said, and
told him he's working too hard. When she asked him to cut back,
he claimed to have it all under control.

At this point, Edward came in and informed them that, according
to the manager of the PC Hotel, someone broke into the their
medicine cabinet and swiped a couple hundred hydrocodone
pills (at this point, I am reminded just how Alan has been
whizzing through these puppies - it's amazing he can stand up).
When Monica starts asking questions and making assumptions,
Alan tells her she should leave the detective work to the
police.

Port Chuckian Gothic

Nikolas walked straight up to Stefan and confronted him, first
about Helena, and then about Laura. Stefan had the "Your grand-
mother's a charming viper" speech all handy, so that one didn't get
too far. But Nik did get under his skin when he asked if Stefan
had loved Laura. ("Love you, Laura?" was how he put it.)
Stefan told him that yes, he and Laura had a close relationship
on the island - he felt sympathy for her and tried to help her,
but she betrayed him as she betrays everyone, blah, blah, blah.
He went on to say that "Laura's a part of my past that I cannot
control, but beyond that we have no connection."

Furthermore, he claimed that Helena was conning Nik in order to
interfere with his relationship w/Katherine. Nik sulked out
of the room, and Stefan called one of his monkeys and
ordered him to find and keep an eye on deal old Mum.

Q Casa

Sarah popped in and interrupted the discussion to tell the folks
that Emily could be getting herself into some trouble by working
with Nik - what if she didn't help? Stefan might go into
troll mode... Monica was a little skeptical, but let Edward and Alan
(I'll get to him in a bit) win the argument. Her purpose served,
Sarah split. Alan popped a pill, and we got a brief lesson on
Hydrocodone addiction from him and Monica.

Robin and Jason had a tender run-in at Kelly's, wherein she
apologized for planting one on him the other night, he resolved
to stay away from the bridge, and they reaffirmed that their
lives were going in different directions.

When Emily came home to look for some Dumas to bring to
Wyndemere, the folks informed her that her extra-curricular
activites were about to come to an end. When she pointed out that
Stefan was no more a dangerous kidnapper than the Quartermaines,
the argument didn't wash. Under great protest, she said she was going
to visit Nik one last time, to explain what was going on and drop the
books off.

When she did, Stefan tried to give her the run around and run her off
the island, but Nik came downstairs and gave his uncle a "leave us
alone, NOW" kind of look. And Stefan did.

Nik was upset with Emily's news, stuttered a bit, and put the kibosh
on the idea of having Sarah help him.

Emily then ran back to Kelly's (looking for Robin) and ran into Sarah
again. When she explained the situation, Sarah offered herself as
a tutorial candidate, but with a look, Em conveyed that that was
not an option. Sarah was bummed and left - just as Robin was
coming back, herself. When Emily told her what was up, Robin
applied for the position of candidate #2.

At the hospital, Monica overheard Amy telling another nurse about
how she found Alan asleep behind the wheel of his car; she then
confronted him about his tiredness, and again asked him to slow
down and take it easy. Alan explained that it was the affect from
taking a sleeping pill, and promised to try to cut back on his
workload.

Monica went back to rounds, or whatever, and Alan went back
to his pill bottle. And Amy saw him knocking them back, with
a curious, light-bulbs-this-close-to-getting-turned-on expression
on her face.

Back at Wyndemere, Nik was at the chessboard, and in a sudden
fit of temper, got up and yelled "uncle" a couple of times. Stef
didn't hear this, as he was too busy in the wine cellar, concetrating
very hard at Laura's portrait.
