                            GH Update for 02/06/98

Before I get to the update for today, I'd like to say that this will be my
final Friday update. Kathy Ellington and I have been sharing Fridays for quite
some time now, and we feel it's time to allow someone else the opportunity.
That said, now on with today's update.

Scene 1
The Q's banter about in the hotel after a blackout.
Scene 2
Venus and Felicia plot to check the faux-Mac's fingerprints until he
comes sniffing around Felicia again.
Scene 3
Tess leaves the real Mac alone unaware that he's freed himself from the
handcuffs. He immediately dresses and splits for PC.
Scene 4
Tony and Virginia (Carly's foster mother) chat at the bar. She tells him about
her daughter Caroline.
Scene 5
Carly tells Bobbie that she wants her baby now, so Bobbie and she leave the
penthouse and head out to find Jason and the baby.
Scene 6
EdQ walks down the stairs from the PC hotel penthouse to the PC Grill.  On the
way, he encounters Felicia and pseudo-Mac who's busy proposing to her yet
again.
Scene 7
Everyone gathers at the PC Grill including AJ and Keesha.
Scene 8
Bobbie drives Carly to find her baby but end up sliding into a snowbank and
getting stuck.
Scene 9
In front of everyone, fake-Mac announces that Felicia has agreed to marry him.
She doesn't disagree hoping to gain time while V checks his prints. Meanwhile,
Lorraine slinks up to Tony, and they head upstairs to his room. [Puulleease,
why would she want him. Oh, Lorraine, I am so disappointed in you]
Scene 10
Carly and Bobbie chat briefly about Carly's life, then they decide to hoof it
to the PC Grill through the snow.
Scene 11
In Tony's room, Lorraine gets right down to business, but he starts to freak a
bit telling her it's wrong.
Scene 12
V tells Felicia she hasn't had a chance to check the prints. Felicia tells her
that she's got engaged, sort of.
Scene 13
Carly and Bobbie arrive to the PC Grill. She tells Jason she's there for her
son.
Scene 14
Tony continues to melt down as Lorraine looks on with growing distain.
Scene 15
V finally tells Felicia it's not Mac she's engaged to.
Scene 16
Bobbie hands the baby to Carly who is apprehensive at first but slowly begins
to bond with him.
Scene 17
The real Mac encounters the imposter in the stairwell.
Scene 18
Lorraine vivisects the pathetic Tony saying she never understood what Carly saw
in him since there were younger better looking doctors available. He replies
that he always wondered what she wanted from him as well.
Scene 19
As she holds her baby, Carly is moved by the moment to the point of telling
Bobbie that she's her daughter Caroline.  Bobbie looks at her uncomprehending
the magnitude of what Carly's telling her.
