GH Update for Tuesday, 1/27,
in which we celebrate the letter Q and ponder karmic due.

Parlour Games

Morning at Q Manor brings a fresh round of wound-salting
with Ned happily esconced on his high horse, Monica's mood
as black as her coffee, Lila firing parting shots, and Emily
staying just this side of self-righteous as she makes Ed, Alan,
and AJ suffer & squirm for their sin.  M & N get in some funny
sarcasm at the expense of the punished, and Em asks Ned to escort
her to the father/daughter school dance.  AJ begs forgiveness
eloquently, but Em firmly draws the distinction that hurting
Jason & BBQ hurts her too.  In a comforting bit of SWATCH,
Ed tempts Monica to kick them out of her house.

The Revolving Sofa Redux

Robin & Brenda fly in to Manhatten to beat the streets finding
B an agent.  R plays manager & moral support.  They take an inflight
stroll down memory lane as B recalls her teen days, starting
with the Parisian race-car driver she dated and Julia hated, thru
her debut at Jason's b-day party, her mad crush on Jagger and
basically how horrid she used to be.  In NY we get a montage
of rejection; as "Don't call us, child, we'll call you" plays,
we see Brenda on a variety of decreasingly swanky office couches
responding to unseen agents questioning every possible negative
aspect of her past and of her physique.  When she is asked to
pose nude, she plays angry psycho and leaves laughing, encouraging
an aspiring model in the lobby to keep trying for better.

Justus Gets Gummied

With an urgency prompted by his desire to keep BBQ safe, Jason
pressures his cousin to decide whether or not to be his lawyer
and broker a peace with Moreno.  The two men negotiate the flow
of information.  Justus wants to know what he's getting into and
Jason can't tell him unless he's into it.  Finally Jason gives
a limited explanation and promises that Justus will not be out of
the loop like he was at ELQ.  We are mercifully flashback-free
as Justus reflects alone for awhile, staring at a photo of MaeMae.

Mobster Groupies

Em meets Sara at the Outback and Jeanie and Janet join them all
agog over the "g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s" Jason Morgan they just glimpsed
outside.  Em wins many social points by joining Jason at a nearby
table.  He asks her to be BBQ's godmother and she is honored to
accept.  Justus [apparently swayed by the unexpected bonus bevy of
groupies] agrees to be Jason's lawyer with a hearty handshake.
