General Hospital Update for Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998

Bren

A sobered Brenda takes steps to repair the damage she caused ambushing
her loved ones.  Robin accepts her sincere apology and admits her own
desire to stay in Port Chas.  The two chums agree to set up housekeeping
to their mutual benefit.  Next B calls Jax to apologise, and is shaken
by a reporter at the door pretending to deliver flowers.  B wisely
asks Gail to pay a housecall and she listens to B's soliloquey about
clearer self-awareness and newly sprouted personal power.  Lastly B
leaves a message for Lucy to discuss her career.

Mac et al

While Tess steps out, Mac in all his tied-up glory bounces his chair over
to the phone and ponders why the last-dialed number is his own.  Meanwhile
Jimmy struggles valiantly to improvise during a meeting with Robin, whom
he knows almost nothing about, and has fair success deceiving her as he
voices an uncle's concern that she's quitting Paris and a blessing to her
new roommate plan.  As she leaves they make a dinner date and he is
flummoxed when she tells him she expects "the specialty of the house".

BBQ

Tony harangues a GH social worker until she agrees to check on the welfare
of Baby Boy Morgan.  Bobbie overhears, and after appealing to Tony's
long-departed sense of fairness, she hightails it to Jason's to warn him.
The social worker walks into an eccentric but cozy scene where the babe
snoozes happily while doted upon by Jason, Rinaldo, AlliedMobster, Emily,
and cookie-baking Bobbie.  Finding nothing to warrant her intrusion, S.W.
leaves to tell Tony off.  Bobbie bonds further with BBQ and gives Jason
food for thought when she says a parent needs to commit to making
the child their number one priority.
