Update for General Hospital, 12/1/97--

Jimmy's motel room--
The manager lets Mac into the room, thinking he is Jimmy. Mac
fakes laryngitis to fool him. When alone, he lets Felicia in
through the window. They begin to search the room, unaware that
Tess and Jimmy are video-taping their every move and commenting on
their behavior. Tess tells Jimmy to watch carefully and get Mac's
gestures, etc, down pat. Study his smile, his clothes, how he
acts with Fil--cause if Jimmy messes up, he could blow all their
plans sky-high. (Tess seems to be the brains of this duo.)
Mac suspects Jimmy is onto them--look, the bed's been messed up,
but the pillows aren't dented--and why is the guy traveling with
only three shirts and one ugly pair of pants? They should leave.
Meanwhile Tess tells Jimmy that the most important person to
fool is Filly. He may have passed alright as Mac to a few
nobodies at the Outback, but Fil is a different story.
To keep Mac and Fil from leaving, Tess calls the room and fakes
a sexy southern accent. Will Jimmy wait for her arrival? She'll
be a little late, but promises it will be worth the wait.
Fil is psyched--hurry up, Mac, and get changed! You've got to
be Jimmy! She teases him about going into the bathroom to
change--why bother? He takes her up on it and begins to strip,
but she chickens out the last minute and turns her back.
Jimmy and Tess remark how the two of them banter and bicker like
a married couple. Maybe they are still lovers--or want to be.
Jimmy gets a thoughtful look on his face--uh oh. He's getting
some nasty ideas about Filly.
Meanwhile, Mac and Fil discuss Tess' determination to track
Jimmy down. Not long ago, Mac remembers, he came very close to
leaving PC. Would Filly have tracked him down? He doubts it.
Unfair, Fil answers. It was a completely different situation.

Mercy hospital--
Carly demands that Lorraine come up with a sonogram of a boy
baby that Carly can pass off as her own. Lo reminds "Snarly" that
this is not Burger King, were she can always have it her way.
Hasn't she heard that meesing with hospital records is against the
rules? "Not if you don't get caught," Carly answers sweetly. Lo
grudgingly agrees, but Carly owes her big time. Wouldn't you know
Tony comes looking for Lo, and Carly melts behind a corner before
he sees her.
Tony tells Lo he knows that she is playing games and wants to
know the truth. Lo tells him that she was hoping, through Carly,
Tony could help her find a better job at GH. And now Lo realizes
that Carly's become a much nicer person through her relationship
with Tony (cue violins). If only Lo herself could get a break
like that. Apparently Tony believes this, once again proving
himself the Clueless Wonder, and promises her an interview at GH
before leaving.
Carly emerges and falls all over herself thanking Lo, who snarls
at her not to believe any of that guff she handed Tony. Cause
what she wants from Carly is a lot more than friendship, baby.
Okay, okay, Carly promises and hightails it. Lo reclines onto a
couch with a magazine while the PA requests her presence at the
third floor nurses' station. Lo rolls her eyes in disgust and
flips a page. "Can't you see I'm busy?" (I'm liking this girl
more and more--no redeeming qualities whatsoever.)

Carly's apartment--
Whew! Carly must have made if back hom just moments before
Tony! He announces that he found the sonogram in an old suitcase.
Oh, gee, Carly says, I guess was trying to hide it from you. But
guess what, Carly? This thing doesn't show the baby's sex. Oh,
hmm, well, see honey--Tony cuts her off. He realizes that
Lorraine has been lying to them (gasp!) But *why* would she do
that?

Kat's ol' stompin' grounds--
Mr. Redfield has to leave for a few days--Kat will be staying
alone at the place where she grew up as the cook's daughter and
illegitimate child of the lord and master. And how convenient,
because who should turn up as soon as the old guy drives off but
Ol' Stef. Sexy music starts pumping and Stef stares through the
window at Kat like a starving dog staring at a lamb chop.
WHy do I get the strange yet irresistable feeling that someone
is staring at me, perhaps Kat wonders, for she gets up from her
seat and goes to the window. Stef has disappeared. How strange,
for although I am alone, I feel as though I am not *truly* alone
(I'm trying for the feel of a Harlequin Romance, here, folks.)
She sashays around a bit then heads back for the door. Awp!
There's Stefan! She tries slamming the door in his face.
Stef manfully shoulders the door open and pleads with her to
just listen to what he needs to say. She does not want to hear
any more of his lies. Now he admits that they were lies, all the
things he said to her. Now all he wants is to tell her the truth.
She relents. He tells her that during the time he was so cruel to
her, he was under the impression that she was his sister Natasha.
That's sick, she tells him. Did he think her so hungry for money
she'd chase after her own brother? No, he swears, he always knew
she was innocent. But he was horribly misled.

 The docks--
Alexis mopes about, remembering Stefan's cruelty the night he
tossed her out of Windy-mere on her heinie. If she wanted to
suffer in silence, tough luck, cause here comes Luke. He offers
to row her over to the island. Bad idea, she tells him. She
doesn't think that she could be alone with him in a rowboat
without bashing his skull in with an oar. Luke gets to the point.
He knows she's persona-non-grata at the ol' homestead. He'd like
to find out more about the falling out, but she won't give. As
she's about to leave, he asks: "Why is it that every time things
start getting interesting between us, you walk away, little
sister?"
Alexis freezes. Why did he call her that? Oh, just the whole
family of man thing, Luke answers casually. More bantering. He
urges her to get some revenge on Stef and Nik for turning her out
of the fold. Not a chance, she tells him. She's still a
Cassadine. Oh, she's more a Cassadine than everyone knows, Luke
tells her.
Alexis informs him that his presence, not just on the docks, but
on the planet itself, if most objectionable to her. Once again she
starts to leave, but Luke calls out: "Nice talkin' to ya,
Natasha." She gives him a deer-caught-in-the-headlights stare.

The End!
