Update for "General Hospital" for Monday Nov. 3, 1997

Felicia's place--
  The woman (Tess) looking for her husband hands Fil a picture of a
guy who looks like Mac.  Fil would like to wring Mac's neck,
thinking this is some kind of practical joke on his part.  But Tess
isn't laughing.  How would Felicia feel if her husband took a
powder two weeks after the wedding?
  Fil apologizes.  Tess tells her about "Jimmy", her husband.  He's
been missing eight years--but someone she knows spotted him in PC.
She and Jimmy only knew each other four months before marrying.
Fil says she needs some documentation.  Tess hands over pictures,
letters, bank statements, etc.  Tess doesn't know what to believe
about his disappearance--she needs closure--she needs to know why
he left.
  Tess leaves and Mac returns with Filly's two girls--he took them
to the GH Halloween party. Fil tells him how dependable he is--oh,
that means he's boring, he infers.  There's a lot of things she
doesn't know about him, he tells her, not enjoying the role of Mr.
Dull and Dependable.  In fact, he has an entire past she knows
nothing about.  Hmm.  Fil has something to share with him.  She
gives him the low-down on her client, but before she can show him
the photo, the phone rings.  Mac answers it and mysteriously has to
leave.  Felicia does the *69 thing, and finds out the call came
from the Outback--the ladies' room sink flooded.

  General Hospital--
  Sarah straightens up after the Halloween party.  Nik comes in.
She remembers the pack of condoms that she thinks Nik left in her
bag (but really it was LizzieBRAT's dirty deed, trying to stir up
trouble as usual).  Nik mentions the gift he got for her.  Uh-oh.
Sarah looks nervous.  She's wondering if it has to do with the box
of "Enduros".  But he hands her a small box containing a necklace.
She loves it.  He tells her that he just wanted to give her
something to show her how much he cares.
  He tells her that his uncle plans to return to Greece--but he
plans to stay on in PC.  His home at Windy-mere could be her home
too (winky winky).  Sarah gulps, still thinking about those
Enduros.  No, her Gram wouldn't go for that.  Well, Nik says, her
Gram could come too!  (Sheesh, what kind of kinky ideas does this
kid have?--just kidding.)  When she is called away by one of the
kids, she reminds him to retrieve the bag he left at her place.
Nik goes to check the bag and finds the condoms.  He looks puzzled.

  PC Hotel--
  Ned angrily tells Alexis taht he knows the mole in Jakarta was
working for Cassadine Corp.  Alexis tells him that he has her all
wrong.  But she's silent when Ned asks her to deny it.He then
compliments her on the smooth way she drew him into her snare.  She
reminds him that she never asked him about business.  Well, Ned
answers the Cassadines have other ways of getting information.
Would she have gone as far as to sleep with him, if neccesary?
Alexis is hurt by his accusations, but tries to keep her dignity.
She tells him that her feelings for him were real.
  But Ned doesn't believe her.  Alexis asks him what does he want
her to do?  She gets up to go, knowing that he will not listen to
her excuses.  But she never betrayed his trust, she informs him,
because she never had it to begin with.
  Later, Ned and Ed Q confer.  Ed can't believe Alexis was part of
the conspiracy--he wants to give her what fer.  Ned tells him to
cool it--he has a plan.  Ed's all ears.

  Munster Mansion--
  Luke has snitched Alexis' secret papers and laughs as he looks
them over.  Proof that she has been a naughty girl.
  Meanwhile Stef is notified that an intruder is on the property.
Lukie overhears them talking. Stef tells The other guy to search
the stables while he begins a search of the house.  Luke sneaks
into the parlor and sees a fancy cigar box--hmm.  Could the gun
he's searching for be hidden there?  It could be a trap.  But like
Pandora, he can't keep from opening the box.  An alarm goes off.
Luke gets an "Oh, sh*t" look on his face, but he's not surprised.
He snitches a cigar, lights it and snaps some photos of the papers
he found before dumping them on the stairs.  Then he high tails it.
  Stef returns to find the papers.  The flunkies report that the
intruder has escaped.  As Stef reviews the papers he realizes that
they are somehow related to Leo, and he remembers Alexis telling
him that Leo worked on some "projects" for her.  A suspicious look
comes over his face.
  Alexis returns and Stef fills her in on the intruder.  Before he
can ask about the papers, she tells him that Ned knows about the
ELQ deal.  Stef hopes that she did not confirm his suspicions.  "I
can usually be counted on not to tell the truth," she answers,
breaking down.  Stef embraces her.  Why didn't she deny knowledge
in order to defend herslef to Ned?  She had to protect Stef's
interests.  After all, she is still his attorney.  Stef kisses her
forehead and tells her to get some rest.
  Once she's gone, he summons Flunky #1 and tells him that he needs
some work done, discreetly.

  The End!

  There will be no update for Monday 11/10, due to the pre-emption
for the Woodward trial.
