A BRENDA-FREE UPDATE, THURSDAY OCTOBER 30

[Unfortunately, we still get the Tedious Teens]

1. WHAT ROUGH BEAST
Bobbie is talking to Luke, who is getting ready to
go to "Goon Island."  Luke figures the gun is there because
of Stefan's ego.  Luke tells Bobbie she shouldn't be
worried.  She brings up Nikolas, which makes Luke angry.
Bobbie begs Luke not to go.

Katherine calls Luke to ask if he's found the gun.  She's
ready to press charges.  (This is after she's talked to Stefan
in part 3.) [Is plotting with Luke an
improvement over the Boris-and-Natasha act she used to be in with
Damian?  Only a little.]

Luke leaves.

2. THINGS FALL APART
Alexis is remembering Ned's vow of revenge against
whoever did him in in Indonesia, as the phone rings.
It's Ned, inviting her for a rack of lamb for two
at the PC Grill.

Julia comes up to Ned, and he says his current interest
and she have a lot in common: they are smart businesswomen,
and good at handling powerful men.

At Wyndemere, Leo comes in [Your Fearless Updater thought
he'd gone to Greece, but he's still in PC making trouble]
bringing receipts to Alexis.  [What happened to her hotel
room, eh?]  Alexis calls Ned to tell him she'll be a little
late.  [BIG mistake!  You take the receipts with you and
burn them en route, or stash them at the hotel!  Maybe
Your Fearless Updater should be the Cassadine!]  So Ned
has time to talk to Julia.  He tells her about Elliot
Butterworth in Indonesia.  He's going to destroy the
company, Olympia Holding Company.  Julia makes a call to
London and then tells Ned that Olympia is a front for the
Cassadines.  Julia has to rush off to fix some massive business
problem.

Alexis is worrying over the papers when the phone interrupts her.
It's Ned, wanting her there right NOW.  Flustered, [he's destroying
her already!] she tucks the papers into a hidden passage [like Stefan
won't find them?] in a niche.  She leaves, and Luke enters.

3. THE CENTER CANNOT HOLD
Nikolini the Deadly comes up to scare Amy, who'd know her
nephew anywhere.  He's decorating for the Hallowe'en party.  He
shows her the necklace he got for Sarah.

Meanwhile, Sarah is staring at the condom package.  Audrey surprises her.

Stefan comes up and tells Nik they are going to Greece.  Nik says no.
Katherine comes by after her last consultation with Tony, and Nik leaves.
Kat and Bat have the same old talk.  He tells her, though, that he's going
to Greece.

Sarah and Audrey have the Public Service Sex Talk.  "Is it a hint?"
Audrey suggests that sex involves commitment.

Sarah takes the sweater to Nik.  She tries to talk about condoms, but he
thinks she's talking about the necklace.  She says it's too much too fast
too soon, and the kids rush in.  [These little sickly kids are sure
happy and healthy looking!]

At Kelly's, Ruby and Lizzie are talking, and Lucky comes up.
LIz tells him she's trying to impress Ruby so she'll say good things
to Audrey about her.

Audrey comes in and has a little talk with Ruby.  [I assume
these two have a long and rich history?]  After Ruby leaves,
Liz sits down with Audrey.  She tells her grandmother that she's
concerned about her relationship with Sarah.  Audrey tells Liz that
Nik and Sarah are serious and Liz works sex into the conversation.
[She's GOOD. She could be a Cassadine herself!]  Audrey leaves and Lucky
comes over.  Lix hints that Nik and Sarah are sexually active.
