GH UPDATE OCTOBER 16

1. PILLS

Edward recklessly takes 3 lumps of sugar in his coffee!  Monica and
Lila come in.  Monica is waiting for Alan, who is on the terrace calling
the pharmacy about a prescription.  She goes out and apologizes for
upsetting Alan at lunch.  Edward argues about cell phones.  The house
phones are good enough for him, and of course no one ever eavesdrops on
them.  Lila tells him to put a sock in it!  [Your Fearless Updater is
delighted to see Anna Lee getting more lines: obviously she's feeling
better.]  Reginald brings in the box. Alan is eager to break into the
box, but secretive.  Lila drags Edward off.  Alan kisses Monica, and they
plan an evening... she goes off to slip into something comfy and Alan
takes the pills.  We see her waiting up there and him dozing on the
couch, but then it becomes evident that he does make it to the bedroom,
but he can't make it IN the bedroom!

2. YAWNS
Lucky is impressed that Liz would defend Emily.  A teacher comes up
wondering where Sarah is.  Sarah, meanwhile, duh, is talking to Nik.  They
set up to find out if Liz took the test answer sheet.

Emily comes up.  Liz and Lucky talk about Sarah getting in trouble.
BORING BORING BORING.
Liz and Lucky miss the game to talk about Sarah.  Sarah comes in.
She wants Liz' help, she says, to prove Nik did it.

3. PLOTS
Luke is plotting with Katherine.  He wants to get the gun back.  He
tries to tell her that Stefan is not through hurting people.

Alexis and Leo are at lunch at the Outback.  They discuss "getting rid of"
Katherine [Where is Sonny when you need him?  I ask you!]  Leo insists on
calling a  schpade a schpade.  Stefan comes up.  How much has he heard?
"How DARE you, Alexis?!"  He insists that they do NOT discuss family with
outsiders. He glides out.

Alexis is upset about losing Stefan. Leo suggests she indulge herself.
Alexis says they'll have to be more careful than ever.  [Which is why she
was so very stupid the next Thursday?]  Leo leaves.

Bat comes up.  He complains about Ned.  Just then, Luke and Katherine
come in.  Luke tells Katherine that Stefan will be immediately over, and
leaves for the restroom. Stefan just can't help himself.  He goes to Kat
and says "Just what do you think you're doing?"  [Not doing well with the
women in his life, is he?  He pulls the strings, they do something
else.]  Stefan tells Katherine she's a fool to join with Luke.  She asks,
logically enough, how Luke using her is any different from Stefan using her.
Your Fearless Updater also wanted this answer, but Luke comes back.  The
two males stomp the ground and rattle their antlers, and Stefan leaves.

4. TEARS

Jason gives Mike a picture of Sonny.  He doesn't understand why pictures
are important. He does keep one thing of Robin's [though I bet the helmet
houseplant is long dead!]  Jason doesn't like pictures, though, they are
flat.  He tells Mike that Sonny took Mike's platter.  They discuss why
Jason won't tell where Sonny is.  Mike asks why Sonny would leave Jason
to die fot him and Your Fearless Updater wonders if this is foreshadowing.
Jason tells Mike that fathers love their sons into boxes.

YFU compares this story to the Tedious Teens and longs for a real head
writer.
