Outback

It was Maxie's Show & Tell day...Mac gave her a pep talk to calm
the nerves. and when that didn't work, ice cream sundaes.  Finally,
he & Felicia got Maxie psyched, and as they were all digging into
the sweets, the fellow we previously saw digging up the desert
walked in and spied them. And the doll. They headed off.

KatyBell's

Katherine greeted Edward Quartermaine at her door. He was happy to
see she wasn't despondant about losing her GH gig, in spite of
his speaking up on her behalf. Ed offered to again fight in Kate's
name, whipping out a Stefan-bashing press release that he intended
to send around town. Kat thanked him, but insisted that Edward
can the note on the grounds of Nik's sensibilities.

On further investigation, she admitted she still cared for
Stef and was more interested in finding out why he turned
on her than granting payback. Edward agreed to back off, but
said he'd keep the press release handy for the future.

After he left, Katherine had either some bizarre fantasy of
Nik & Stefan fighting over the way she'd been treated, with
Nik on a white, Arab charger, or a flashback from a show I've
missed. Updater's guess: self-important fantasy.

Casa Cassadine

Alexis, on the phone, confirmed Stefan's involvement with
the ELQ troubles that sent Ned overseas. In an interesting bout
of hypocracy, she ordered Stefan not to mess around in her
personal affairs. As Stefan put it, business is business, but Alexis
wasn't satisfied, complaining that he'd sent her one friend
in PC to the other side of the globe. Stef sarcastically inquired
further on the relationship. No, Alexis said, he's not her "heart's
desire," but it still pissed her off that Stefan would interfere
with her life. Interfere? Not I, claimed Stef. Fine then, back
off on Jakarta, she suggested. Her cousin shot that down and
laid the law on the family biz - "I navigate; you row."

Chez Spencer

As Lucky was heading off for school, Bobbie came to the kitchen
for coffee talk with her dear bro. (Lucas was also prepping for
show & tell, but offscreen. He was to show off Foster's communication
skills.) They exchanged notes on: Bobbie's antipathy for Carly,
Laura, the Webber girls, teen lust in general, and Lucas Lorenzo
Spencer's own coming of age. Back to the girls, Luke's main
worry was the Nik factor. Which would lead to a Stefan factor.

Bobbie offered to help talk Lucky into returning to Suissland with
his dad. He declined the offer at first, but when they got around
to reliving recent old times, he invited her to help him figure
out Stefan's latest games. Especially the ones concerning Katherine
Bell. Luke finished his breakfast of beer and cake, and announced
he was off to said Ms. Bell's.

You Didn't Think We'd Miss a Day of School, Did You?

As Sarah moped, drinking her generic cola, Lizzie came to
the rec room & tried to distract her sis from her Nik doldrums.

Emily returned for her first day back; Sarah immediately
greeted her and they caught up a little. Em gave sympathy
to Sarah's sore heart, then split.

Not so sore. Sarah went over to the payphone and called
on Nik and had a bland teen-in-love conversation before
scooting off to class.

When Lucky got in, Emily gave him a big hug; Lizzie was
immediately curious and got the scoop on Em's past.

Sarah broke away from campus and found Nik in their
"special place," where Nik shared his idea on how to
catch Lizzie's scheme and get her to fess up. Sarah looked
queasy, but agreed to go through with it.

After finding out about Lucky & Em's connection, Liz
took an opportunity to come to Emily's rescue (she was
getting picked on by classmates) and played up like
she was Em's best friend and defender. She made sure
Lucky was watching, and was rewarded when he thanked
her and expressed surprise at her altruistic side.

End Pieces

Luke showed up at Kat's and announced they had a lunch
date with Stefan's jealous bone.

Alexis attempted to apologize for her anger, and when she
mentioned that she'd see Ned soon enough, Stef more or less
ordered her not to.
