UPDATE THURSDAY OCTOBER 9

1. MYOB, part 1

Bobbie is standing at the Nurses' Station (*shock*!) when Luke comes up
with a huge package.  It's for Amy, from Laura.  Tony comes up.  Bobbie
leaves after Tony talks about B.J.  Luke then asks "How could you let
this happen, Dr. Dad?"

Tony and Luke then agree it's not Luke's business (like Luke will let THAT
stop him?)  Tony is excited about the new baby.  He leaves and Amy races
in.  She wants all the gossip.  The present is a cuckoo clock.  Amy has a
clock collection. They all go off at once, which explains a lot about Amy.
They talk about Lucky-the-Sulker.

2. MYOB, part 2

AJ leaves the gym.  Lorraine is threatening Carly (another day, another
blackmailer, same old, same old.  Carly must be a slow study.)  She wants
more money.  Carly will go to the ATM.  Carly gets onto the phone but
then AJ comes back and asks why she's still there.  Carly and AJ fight.
[It's evident AJ is still carrying a torch.  Kudos to Billy Warlock.  I
have my doubts that Sean Kanan could have given AJ as many layers as Warlock
has, or made Your Fearless Updater care about him.]  AJ tells Carly it's
not about her, it's about the  baby. AJ leaves.  Keesha the Harpy comes
up to him, and they agree to meet at the concert.

Lorraine is lurking, and Carly comes back with the money.  Bobbie sees
Carly handing it over, and instead of Widening Her Eyes, she Drops Her Jaw.
(Same level of acting as the Tiptoe.) Bobbie bounces in to see Lorraine, and
after Lorraine leaves, she asks Carly why Carly gave Lorraine money.
Carly tells her it's not her business.  [Since when has that ever stopped
Bobbie?  But I can't believe how snoopy she is around Carly.]

Tony comes in, and Bobbie leaves after telling Tony about Lorraine and
the money.  [WHO was it who wanted to raid the account without telling
Tony, in order to find her daughter?]  Bobbie runs into Alan who tells
her about Katherine losing her job.  Meanwhile, Tony asks Carly about the
money.  He'd attempted to take money from the ATM and it hadn't worked.
Carly says she's done something really terrible, and they hug.

3. Pathetic Wench #1

Monica and Alan are in the hospital board room talking about A.J.  Lila,
Edward, and Katherine come in.  Katherine thanks Monica.  Monica mutters
to Alan that she never thought wshe'd say she was in Katherine's corner.
Stefan and Alexis come in.  Edward tells Katherine he doesn't approve of
her relationship with Stefan.  Alexis worries about the Quartermaines.

The meeting starts, and Monica speaks up for Katherine.  They ask Stefan
why he dismissed her.  He says Katherine hasn't been doing the little
details.  He remarks that there has been creative budgeting.  They
counter that she doesn't need money but he says she can't control the
budget.  She misses meetings [Oh, like HE doesn't?  They missed the same
meetings, because they were meeting each other!]  Katherine yells at
him.  She says it's personal.  Stefan agrees that he did feel sorry for
her when he saw her shot and bleeding.  He felt profound responsibility
and gave her the job from pity.  She starts yelling again.  [Your
Fearless Updater wants hazard pay!]  Amanda moves to vote for
termination.  However, Katherine quits before they can fire her.  Edward
argues with her.  Lila tells Alan to go get A.J., she wants to see him.

Stefan and Katherine face off.  She sends Alexis away.  Same old.

Alexis sympathises with Stefan.  She goes off to make a phone call, and
Luke comes up.

Katherine sits at the bored, uh, BOARD table and weeps.  Bobbie comes in
and sympathises.

4. Pathetic Wench #2

Brenda, having made a total fool of herself at the Outback, returns to
the hotel with Jax.  She's embarrassed.  Jax tells her she's going to
stay with him.  They're like a pair of comfortable old shoes.  She says
no.  She says she can't let him rescue her, she sees she's using him as a
drug.  He talks her into it.

Jax goes to the Gatehouse to get her stuff, and Emily runs into him
there.  She's checking up on Brenda.  Later, Edward comes in and yells at
him.

Brenda looks at V's drawings.  V comes in.
