UPDATE THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 4: WHY ME OH, LORD?, PART 2

Oh, goodie goodie, I get the three storylines from the hot place again!

1. THE TEEN TWITS
Lizzie goes into Kelly's and sits with Lucky.  He asks her if she made
Sarah cry.  Nik goes into the hospital kiddie rec room and sees Sarah
who tries to run off.  Nik asks what happened.  She won't tell him.  He
huffs off.

Lucky is astonished that Liz eavesdropped.  "You spied on me!"  "All you
want to do is mess up Sarah and Nikolas!"  "And you don't?" she responds.
The light is dawning in his eyes just as Ruby comes up and tells them to
take it outside and fires Lizzie.  Lucky says "what did you expect?  It's
not like you did any work!"  Liz worries that Audrey's coming over and
will find out and throw her out for good.

Nik comes back to talk to Sarah.  He blames Lucky.  They quarrel.  Audrey
comes into Kelly's.  She sees Liz-n-Lucky sitting there.  Liz starts to
tell Audrey she's been fired, but Lucky goes to sweettalk Ruby because
he's finally caught on, that Lizzie's "break them up" scheme is good for
him.  Ruby comes over to the table.  Audrey is frosty [Your Fearless
Updater hasn't been watching long enough to know if there's bad blood
between these two, but it sure looked like it.]  Ruby tells Liz no one
comes into her place and makes up their own rules [except for Jagger,
Karen, Brenda, and Miguel, of course.]  "Suit up and get to work."
Audrey is astonished to see Liz actually do as she is told.  Ruby tells
Lucky he owes her two.  Liz is bubbling excited, thinking everything is
falling into place.

2. KAT AND BAT

Stefan is calling Katherine.  Alexis comes in and says she hopes he's not
calling Katherine.  "As a matter of fact, I am."  Alexis remarks that
George was probably confused but "What if George is right?  Katherine
will be in danger and you will have put her there."  He calls again, and
KatyBlah was expecting his call.  He has a question to ask her, but she's in
a meeting with Edward.  He'll meet her at the hospital.  He then asks
Alexis how he'll be putting Katherine in danger.

Edward asks Katherine who it was on the phone [nosy!] and she tells him
it's Stefan.  He warns her she'll get hurt. He tells her about Alexandria
who got involved with the Cassadines and didn't live to tell the tale.
"Stefan is different.  He would never do anything to harm me."  Edward
offers help if she ever needs it.  [As FGC Lila, I protest!  Stay AWAY
from that conniving wench!]  They hug just as Stefan comes in.  He stares
at them, and Edward says "Katherine's passion for me has long been common
knowledge, eh?"

Edward leaves, and they Kat and Bat kiss.  Stefan has a Very Important
Question.  "Who else has a key to this library?"  He says there's business,
keeping them apart.  She says that waiting for what you really want makes
it better. [This is the former Mrs. Ashton?] He asks what it's like to be
Katherine Bell growin up at Serenity and she describes being the official
tester and spoonlicker of all her mother's creations, [which explains the
way she eats today.] She says Avery Stanton was her father.  She has
proof, in a DNA test.

Alexis talks to Leo who agrees that Stefan talking to Katherine is
dangerous.  [It's costing us viewers!] Ned comes in, Leo leaves. Ned has
missed Alexis.  They discuss the last time.  Ned is ready for something
more.  She's scared but ready in theory.  Family matters.  He's here with
an invitation/proposition.  He takes her our to breathe, feel the sun.
He wants to go away with her.  She can't walk away.  Ned's phone rings,
and it's a factory, needing his executive help.

3. THE MOBSTER AND HIS FLUNKIE

Sonny is looking at Mike's platter as Jason comes in.  He's off to take
someone a message, but Sonny stops him and shows off the platter.  Jason
likes it.  Sonny's grandparents (Adela's folks) never liked Mike.  Sonny
tells Jason about reconciling with Mike.  He'll be walking out on Mike
now without saying goodbye.  Jason offers to "take care of" him.  [That's
always interesting, coming from Jason.]  Sonny has orders for Jason.
Don't let Luke get involved.  [Yeah, right.]  Delegate.  Never pull the
trigger yourself.  Every time Sonny killed everyone it's because he
screwed up.  Violence is stupid and messy.  You never walk away clean.
Sonny wants Jason to take back his ELQ stock.  Jason sets it up so Robin
inherits it in 10 years.

The Tin Man is splicing tape with Mike's voice on it.  "It's Mike.  I
have to.  Meet you.  At the Outback."  He plays it on the answering
machine and gets out a Big Gun.

Joseph comes in.  Sonny tells him Jason will be in charge.  Sonny leaves
and goes to the dock.  Flashbacks to Jason and Robin at the dock, to
Luke, Sonny telling Luke "wherever I go, you'll know."

Jason gets the message from "Mike."  He asks Pete where Sonny is, and
calls Mike.  He tells Mike's machine he's on his way.

Sonny has a Brenda flashback.  There's a noise, Joseph is down, and the
Tin Man is pointing his Big Gun at Sonny.
