                            GH Update for 08/22/97

Scene 1
Sarah prepares for her date with Nikki, when she gets a call from Lucky.
Scene 2
Bobbie tries to chat with Nikolas at GH, but he blows her off.
Scene 3
Carly and the Perez woman go toe-to-toe at GH over Carly's bribe of the little
brat who saw her pushing the laundry basket with AJ in it.
Scene 4
Emily comes to visit AJ. She wants reassurance that he's not drinking again. He
tells her he felt he had made it then boom back to the gutter.
Scene 5
Bobbie butts into Carly's conversation with Mrs. Perez, but Carly closes that
book quickly then tells Bobbie to get lost.
Scene 6
Monica visits Ned at the gatehouse. She apologizes for coming down on him when
she should be thanking him for protecting her and Emily during the Dorman
killing aftermath. After Monica leaves, Alexis shows up on his doorstep.
Scene 7
Lucky asks Sarah if she wants to come over and hang out, but she politely begs
off.
Scene 8
Alexis asks Ned if there's something he needs from her.
Scene 9
Emily tries to comfort AJ and give him support. When she leaves, he searches
everywhere presumably for liquor; finding none, he heads out, but Carly tries
to stop him. Eventually, however, he pushes her aside and leaves. Afterwards,
she flashes back on her actions.
Scene 10
Ned tells Alexis he needed her, but she says if all he wanted was a
distraction, they'd be in bed already. She wants to know what they're really
getting into.
Scene 11
Ruby gripes about Lizzie being late, but Lucky soothes her a bit by covering
for Lizzie. Soon, however, the errant miss arrives.
Scene 12
Sarah and Nik chat quietly in the park and exchange adolescent tendernesses.
Scene 13
Lucky thoughtlessly tries to get info about Sarah's musical preferences from
Lizzie who is understandably less than helpful.
Scene 14
Bobbie and Monica banter at GH about AJ's latest problem.
Scene 15
AJ bellies up to a bar and orders a bottle of Vodka.
Scene 16
Lizzie breaks the news to Lucky that Sarah is out with Nikolas.
Scene 17
Meanwhile, the nascent neckers are dancing to the moonlight.
Scene 18
Ned and Alexis tell each other their respective truths which weren't all that
clear, then they kiss passionately, but soon Alexis breaks it off and leaves.
Scene 19
As AJ is about to take a drink, Carly knocks the glass out of his hand and
tells him, "I can't let you do this. I will not be responsible."
