UPDATE THURSDAY JULY 17: Goodbye to Luke.

1. At Katherine's, Nik thanks her for the place to stay.  She wants to
know what happened and he has decided he's not going home.  Katherine
says this decision is childish.  Nik ripostes by telling her that she's
making a mistake, that Stefan doesn't care for either one of them.  He
just never lets go of anything.  Katherine tells Nik to call Stefan.  Nik
tells her she SHOULD be afraid of his uncle.  He calls in sick to work so
he can take a day to think aobut his situationg.  Katherine calls Stefan
after Nik leaves.

2. Mac tells Robin he doesn't believe she drinks coffee.  She's bandaging
herself.  Mac is mad at Taggart for saying they can't replace the broken
glass and the carpet.  Robin says she will pay for the carpet.  Mac says
he's insured.  "Not against people shooting through windows."  [Your
Fearless Updater goes to check her policy!]  "Unless they're an old
girlfriend, I am." [YFU is, too.  Old boyfriends.]  They discuss Jason.
Why does he need a car phone?  Sonny will know what to do.  Will Jason
even tell Sonny about getting shot?

Meanwhile, Sonny is wondering why Jason hasn't checked in.  He's trying
to figure out how long it will take to round the peninsula.  Brenda asks:
"Wouldn't it be easier to look out the window?"  Sonny comes up with the
Line of the Day: "Virginia's only pink on the map."  Brenda, our world
traveller, is stunned.  They have to get to Florida.  "Who doesn't like
you in Florida?"  "I don't know," Sonny answers, "but if they don't like
you in Florida, you either get religion or life insurance."  She's
digging out the costumes.  She appears in a blond wig.  THAT'll fool
them.  She looks like a Clampett.  The boat pulls into harbor.

Meanwhile, back at Robin's: Mac brings breakfast and Jax knocks on the
door.  They agree Taggart did a stupid followup because he didn't want
the shooting to tie to Dorman.  Rebecca's statement is suspect because
she lied under oath once [and why isn't she in jail?  More to the point,
how does anyone KNOW she lied?  Did Dorman keep his own diary: "haha that
stupid wench nurse committed perjury for me today.  DAMN I'm good!"??]
Mac will talk to Jason.

Robin answers the phone. It's Sonny.  She tells him about Jason being
shot.  Brenda panics.  Sonny tells Robin to stck to Mac like glue and
tell Jason not to leave the hospital.  "Tell Jason the Tin Man job is no
longer his."  Robin hangs up and Sonny keeps talking, in another editing
triumph.  He tells Brenda what happened.  The boat owner gets on the boat
and they hide in the closet, dropping the phone.  The owner steps on it.
He goes to find out whose phone it is, and Brenda and Sonny leave.

Next, they're at a truck stop, with Brenda babbling.  Sonny figures
they're being led on.  They watch a trucker, who is going to Miami,
rearrange his load. [On the TRUCK!  Geeze!] The trucker runs to the
bathroom, and Brenda pours a drink, "accidently", on the other one.
She's working on the dumbest accent I have ever heard.  With both
truckers occupied, they head for the rear, just in time to get stopped by
a couple of cops.  [It's the accent police!]

3. Carly goes to see Jason.  When he asks for water, she gives him some,
and he starts to choke.  She runs for help and sees A.J. and Keesha in
the hall.  Keesha looks angry, though Your Fearless Updater has decided
she's probably worried.  A nurse runs in.  Coming out, she tells A.J.
that Jason is fine now.  Keesha asks Carly why Jason is one of her
friends.  Carly spots Jax heading into the room and tells him he can't.
He sits down, muttering.  Ardanowski sits next to him, angry.  She's been
suspended.  Logically enough, she blames Jax.

Mac and Robin come in, and A.J. and Carly join Keesha.  Mac and Jax
talk.  A.J. goes to open the gym.  Carly invites Keesha over.  [You think
it's dull reading about it?  YFU watched it!]

Robin asks Jason if he's mad that she told Sonny.  Jason wants to know
what Sonny said.  She tells him the Tin Man is not his job any more.
Jason is worried.  He tries to call Sonny, but he can't get through.  Mac
comes in.  He finds out about Tiger Key, but Jason won't tell him
anything because he doesn't know anything.

Mac tells Jax about Tiger Key and Jax orders his jet filled.

4. Lucas, in Most Annoying Mode [Oh, he's supposed to be CUTE?] is
playing peekaboo with uncle Luke.  Ruby, Bobbie, and Lucky are there. Lucas
wants to know when Laura's coming home.   They tell him Lucky will be
coming back.  Sarah comes in.  Lucky goes to talk to her, while Luke
brags to Bobbie that his kid is a genius, "He gets C's in classes he
didn't even know he was taking." [Gag me!]  Luke gives Bobbie
instructions.  Essentially, let Lucky do whatever he wants.  He likes to
encourage "creative thinking", i.e., lying.  Mike comes in to talk to
Luke.  He needs to know if Sonny's OK.  Luke asks Mike to watch out for
Lucky.

Lucky brags to Sarah.  He's sick of Switzerland.  In a
masterpiece of understatement he informs Sarah that he's "not real
sophisticated first class" but he's travelled a lot.  Lucas gets her
order and in Most Annoying Mode [oh, right, I mean CUTE!] he tells Sarah
she's bikini material.

Luke wonders if Bobbie can handle herself with Stefan.  She tells him
Stefan can't hurt anyone any more.

Lucky asks Sarah if she'd like a postcard or chocolate.  She suggests a
Swiss bank.  They hug.

Lucy bops in.  She tells Luke the club is in good hands.  She has a
package with underwear in it for Lulu.  She babbles.  They agree that
she'll be a good mother.  [Awwww!]  Hugs all around, and Luke leaves.
