UPDATE THURSDAY JULY 10
Flashback count: 2 (one is a story filler, new to us)
Unanswered questions: 1 glaring one.

1. OZ NEVER DID GIVE NOTHING TO THE TIN MAN

At the Outback, Mac asks Robin what Jason's up to. He reminds her that
Jason is a gangster. Katherine comes over to see Robin, and mentions
that her power window is down, so Mac dons his shining armor and races
out to fix it. Katherine and Robin compare guys and diseases (HIV,
Bullet) Robin feels greedy about Jason. Katherine says she's never seen
him with another woman "except my physical therapist ... and she's a
wreck half the time." That's not what Robin worries about. The
Knightly Mac comes in, having fixed the window. Jax comes in and tells
Mac about the Tin Man. Mac has the drawing Kevin did.

We see the Tin Man looking in his case, taking out a stick of gum.

Jason comes in to the Zebra Lounge looking for the Tin Man, who is right
behind him. The bartender tells Jason to leave. By that time, the T.M.
has gone, leaving a matchbook from a bar in Tiger Key, and his trademark
origami bird. Then we see the Tin Man aiming a rifle at Jason on the phone
to Sonny. Jason tells Sonny about Tiger Key and Sonny warns Jason not to
go back into the bar.

2. LUKE AND LAURA, THEY'RE NOT!

Sonny and Brenda are being put on a yacht by Luke. He says the countdown
hasn't even started. Brenda asks: "Countdown to what?" Luke answers
"digital calisthenics." Brenda admires the Cornish game hens. Sonny says
he's flying blind, now where does he look? Luke gives him advice and
Your Fearless Updater thought about the blind leading the blind. Luke
tells Sonny to keep looking at Brenda. He tells them to sleep in their
life vests. Luke gives Brenda perfume. [*I* don't know why.] She always
thought Luke didn't like her. "I've been wrong before," Luke admits in a
startling moment. Too bad Laura couldn't hear this. He tells her to keep
Sonny cooking. Sonny and Luke hug on parting.

Brenda frets. Sonny tells her Jason will watch out for them. She
doesn't feel better.

 3. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO TONIGHT, BRAIN?

At the hospital, Stefan talks to Rebecca for a moment and hands her an
envelope. She leaves, and Alexis comes by. They get ready to go, and
Bobbie comes up: "SteFAWN, do you have a minute?" "No. [I have worlds
to conquer, people to kill, virgins to deflower. So much mischief, so
little time.]" "Make one" Bobbie insists. Alexis tries to say a word, and
Bobbie asks "What are you, a mouthpiece or a spy? Did you ever have a
life, or a mind of your own, and IF you did, what happened to them?" [You
GO, girl! Of course, if Alexis were The Cassadine, the Spencers wouldn't
stand a chance...] Stefan sinisterly states: "This is what loyalty looks
like."

Alexis leaves and Bobbie asks Stefan what it is he wants. "You have my
name. I want it back." He wants no alimony or contest, and she's to
resume the name of Spencer and stop disgracing his. Stefan won't
tolerate the vision of Bobbie and Luke cackling as they divide the
money. "If the Cassadine name should be useful to me, you'd better
believe I'm going to use it!" Bobbie tells him. Katherine comes in and
Bobbie says "Don't forget to mention your sex kitten on a stick, because
I won't." Stefan threatens her again. She points out that he's not
content, not for one moment of his life. "Maybe that's my best
advantage. I don't have to lift a finger." She leaves.

Katherine comes up and Stefan wants to kiss her. "After tonight," he
gloats, "Everything will be possible for us." They skulk into an elevator.
[Thank goodness.]

Luke catches Bobbie at the phone and Bobbie tells him Stefan wants her
license. Luke figures tonight's the night. Bobbie is pleased Luke knows
how to stop him. [Yeah, right. She still has her gullible moments.]
Luke says the plot must not appear to have been stopped by him. Barbara
says Stefan is s paranoid about his family. Luke has a bright idea.

At Wyndemere, Stefan and Alexis have gotten rid of Nikolas, Rhys, and
Mrs. Lansbury. Alexis still misses Bobbie. Stefan smugly promises her a
"new outsider. One we can trust. Yes, Katherine." Alexis doesn't look
thrilled. They pour a special wine. Stefan starts up the computer.

"To the Cassadine past," he toasts.

"To the Cassadine future, " she responds. [Your Fearless Updater hopes
Alexis *is* the Cassadine future.]

4. LET'S GET TOGETHER, YEAH YEAH YEAH

Carly looks like she's wearing a slip, but I guess it's partywear. She
greets A.J. at the door. Keesha and A.J. look awkward. Carly wants to
open the wine Keesha brought. Carly fusses and her guests simmer. Tony
comes in with the "chicken bread." (The deli chicken Carly needed.) Tony
asks Keesha about the police academy. She's not going, because her
writer is somewhere else now. They sit down for dinner.

Keesha wants the chicken recipe and Tony teases Carly. [YFU really likes
this couple! Tony hasn't been happy in so very long!] Carly lies. [How
can you tell when Carly's lying? Her mouth is open.] Keesha asks Carly
why she's interested in repressed memories. The phone rings for Tony.
Tony excuses himself and Keesha makes her escape. A.J. tells Carly it
was awful. Carly tries to explain. A.J. heads off for a meeting. Carly
has a flashback to her steamy night with A.J.

4. SO PERJURY'S NOT A CRIME IN PORT CHUCKLES

Rebecca tells Jax her cuffs are fraying and the button's gone. Jax tells
her the police have the button. She asks if the police know it's hers.
She didn't kill Pierce. Jax asks her what happened. "Maybe we can help
each other out."

"All I did was let him die." Everyone knows she lied, she says. [WHOA,
Nellie! How does Dr. Dorman being a vile drug dealer lead to Rebecca
being a purjurer in a different matter? This is one of those really
REALLY annoying loose ends.] "After he was arrested and it all came out
about the heroin, the boy he killed, all the lies he told, I was so sure
it was all a mistake, that he could explain. The day the lights went out
I went to Administration. I'd heard he was here in the building and I
went to Administration thinking that's where he would have to report
under the circumstances? No one was there, of course, except for one of
the morgue attendants, who said he was hiding from Dr. Dorman. [We see a
Zblack and white "flashback" as Rebecca goes on.] He was already dying--
when I found him. He said 'I wanted the drugs back.'" She had run off.
Dr. Dorman grabbed her button. Rebecca talks about the awful life he
could look forward to and her experience as a triage nurse. She "DNRed"
him. (Do Not Resusitate.) "I let him go, but I didn't kill him. I
LOVED him!"

Jax wants more. "Did you pass anyone in the hall?" She remembers a
workman. She describes the Tin Man. A nurse comes up to Rebecca to get
in touch with tony.
