From: mboyd93192@aol.com (MBoyd93192) Subject: GH: update for 6/3/97 Date: 25 Jun 1997 03:27:06 GMT *I have been asked to this update because the usual person who does it wasn't able to. So, sorry it's a little late adn I wasn't able to get all the details in.* Jax, shirtless of course, hears a knock at his door and opens it to find Officer Ardanowski there with his dry-cleaning. She claims to have checked it for drugs and says she has a feeling about him. Jax doesn't want to hear it so he slams the door in her face. Of course he forgot to get his clothes though so he sighs, opens up the door, snatches his clothes, and slams it shut again. Brenda and Sonny are taking a walk in the countryside when they come across someone's picnic but (surprise!) actually Sonny had it set up for them. Brenda wants to get comfy and goes to sit down on the blanket but Sonny (who I must add looks so good in his white button-down shirt and khakis) tells her to wait and to come over to where he's standing to see "the best d*** view she's ever seen." he comes and stands behind him, wrapping her arms around his chest and agrees. He tells her he's known about the place since he was a little kid. She doesn't believe him so he looks straight ahead and tells her what she sees to their left. He tells her he lived there in the country for about an hour. Dorman, in jail, is yelling at his lawyer about getting him out of jail and how he wants a restraining order against Jason. Rebecca comes in wondering what happened to Dorman. Lila, Ned, and Monica are in the Quartermaine den while Edward is on the phone trying to locate Tom about Audrey's condition. Monica reassures everyone that Audrey is still in a coma but getting better. Monica goes to get some coffee and Ned follows asking her what's going on. She innocently asks what he means. He says everyone is upset but that she is "buzzing around like Mary Poppins." She tells him Pierce Dorman is the reason.Ned finds it hard to believe Dorman is the reason she's happy. She replies that she's just not going to let him get to her anymore and that Jason was the one who made her see that. The phone rings and Monica leaves to go answer it. It's Mac who wants to know if Dorman told her about where he hid the drugs. Monica leaves the den and moves into the hall. She tells him no and then thanks for everything he's done for her (like not putting her in jail) and her family. Emily, who has come down and is now sitting on the stairs, overhears the entire conversation and looks both stunned and sick when she hears that Dorman used her diary against the family. Mac has to go (see below) so he and Monica say good-bye. Ned comes in the hallway and Monica asks him to keep an eye on Emily because she has to leave; they walk off. Emily comes downstairs, looking way out of it, and calls AJ. He's not home so she leaves a message asking him to please call her or come over. Aj knocks on Carly's door. Carly lets him in and, as usual, they talk about her and Tony's relationship. AJ says he wants to share something with her-- that whne they hugged, it felt familiar to him. He knows that they've hugged before and that it was hte night at Jake's. Alan is keeping watch over Audrey. Tony tells him her condition hasn't changed and when Amy comes in and says that she's going to read to her. Alan and Tony leave and discuss all the cops around the hospital and the interns and why Tony didn't tell Alan where AJ was living.Tony tells him to talk to AJ and that he won't be put in the middle but to let AJ live his own life. The conversation shifts to Tony and Bobbie's custody battle. Amy comes out and tells Alan that she no one has heard from Dorman all day. Dorman and Rebecca (I'm going to call her the idiot because she is one) talk about their relationship, the Q's, and he gets her worried that they'll be after her next. Graff storms in Mac's office telling him he wants to speak with him right now. Mac, who's on the phone with Monica, tells him to wait a minute. Graff gets mad and leaves to go talk to the mayor. Jax bursts into Mac's office next and tells him he has work to do. Jax wants the statement saying he's been cleared off all the drug charges from Mac. Mac says until he has a reason to keep Dorman in jail, Jax can't be cleared. Jax starts arguing when Dorman's lawyer comes in with the mayor. Jax, not knowing anyone's come in, says he doesn't like being used as a decoy to trap Dorman. Graff thanks Jax, with a smug look, on his face for saying so because it proves Dorman was falsely arrested. Brenda, now sitting on the blanket, listens to Sonny's story of how he found the place. He sits down next to her and tells her it used to be a summer camp for inner-city kids. His mom had gotten him all excited so when he got there he ran off the bus and just ran until he found the overlook he and brenda were at now. However, some bully came up, they fought , and Sonny got sent back home to Bensonhurst (this really was a cute, sweet story and Sonny's dimples were just flashing the whole time but I didn't have time to get everything down). Sonny grins and tells her the story has a happy ending though. He gets up and tells her he was driving by one day and saw a for sale sign out front. Brenda gets ecstatic and starts jumping around and asks if he bought it all, including the farm house; he says yes. She asks him when and he tells her it was after they made love in the caves. She asks (so many questions!) why and he tells her that he didn't know where she stood in his life but that he wanted to offer it to her and wanted to see her there in it. She says "I love you", he says "I love *you*, end of story", and they start kissing. Ned comes into the den and asks if Edward or Lila has seen Emily that day. Ed harrumphs, gets up, and whines, "Don't tell me that girl's run off again. What are we going to do with that girl, chain her to the bedpost, or..." LIla interrupts saying he'll do no such thing and that she saw Emily walking the dog. He wants to go look for her but Lila reminds him of a luncheon they have to attend. He grunts but finally gives in. Ned walks them to the car and Emily creeps back downstairs. She calls AJ again but he's still not home. She hangs up before leaving a message. Carly tells AJ that maybe something did happen but it doesn't matter. AJ still wants to know because he knows he gets all hands and touchy-feely when he gets drunk and apologizes but Carly insists that it's ok. The conversation gets back to her and Tony. Alan says if Dorman doesn't call or come in then he finally has reason to fire him. Tony says he needs to go check on a patient and they say good-bye. Monica walks up and they discuss Audrey's condition. He tells her he's had good news-- that he may finally be able to fire Dorman because he hasn's come in or anything. She tells Alan that Dorman is in jail. Alan says he doesn't know if he's going to like hearing about what happened but Monica says he just might. Then completely calmly, she tells him, "The reason Pierce isn't here is because I kind of kidnapped him, locked him in a motel room, tied him up, and tortured him for two days (She smiles)." Alan laughs and says that's great because he had dreamt about doing the same thing. Monica replies, "I did." Alan, looking panicked and stunned, asks what she means and how. She explains how she tricked Dorman into going to the motel and everyhting she did to him. She adds that Jason even stopped her from killing him and that Mac came and arrested Dorman because he believes Dorman is behind the drugs coming into Port Charles. Alan says that Mac keeping Dorman in jail is against the law and Monica informs him that Matt's death and Emily's drug overdose are both because of Dorman. The mayor informs Mac he knows about Dorman. Jax leaves and the mayor asks Ardanowski to stick aound and they talk off to the side. Graff tells Mac the mayor won't let him get away with what he's done and leaves.. The mayor thanks Ardanowski and asks her to wait outside. She leaves and he asks if Mac has proof that Dorman is behind the drugs. Mac says no and the mayor reminds him "Arrested without cause." They debate this and int he end, the mayor fires Mac and asks him to give him his badge. Mac is happy to do it and walks out. Tony comes by the apartment ot get some more of his things. He tells her he was hoping she wouldn't be there so he wouldn't hurt her to which Carly replies that she has nowhere else to go. ALan asks why Monica didn't tell him. She explains htat she obviously wasn't rational at the time. Alan says that if he had been the one to find out about the drugs, he would have killed Dorman. Ned is happy to see Emily and asks where she's been all day. She says she was in bed. He tries to get her to cheer up by suggesting a walk when AJ comes by. He asks Emily if she's okay because he recieved her message and was worried. Emily begins sobbing saying that she's sorry because everything that's happened was her fault. Jax is on the phone telling his father that he won't be hearing about him and drug smuggling anymore because the doctor doing it was arrested. Dorman gets the Idiot to sign a statement saying she witnessed Jason harrassing and stalking Dorman and Graff takes the paper to go file a restraining order. Brenda and Sonny are doing some heavy kissing and they move down onto the blanket. The End. Any questions or comments please feel free to send the to me. Thanks! :-)
