Fate once again intervened, and due to the McVeigh Trial only
half of the show aired in my time zone.  Once again, if anyone
else cares to jump in and add to this, please feel free.

GH Update Monday 6/2/97

  Scene w/Ned and Alexis--I'm not sure where--they rehash the
hostage-taking incident of the night before at GH.  Some former
intern whacked out and held several others hostage.  One doctor
was killed and Audrey was knocked out with a gun.  Emergency
surgery was performed by one of the interns with a power drill
(!) and she is now in a coma.

  AT GH--
   Monica stands by Audrey's bedside and urges her to keep
fighting for her life.  In the hall, Jason comes by and
expresses concern.  He tells her that he will have to let Sonny
know what happened in the motel room (w/Monica and Dorman).  She
wishes he would keep it private.
  Brenda and Sonny come in.  Jason informs them that Mac
arrested Dorman.  He keeps the info on the Starlite Motel to
himself.

  Elsewhere in the hospital--Bobbie asks Tony how Audrey is
doing.  She is on life support.  Before Bobbie turns away, Tony
blurts out that he found out who sent the custody papers to
her--it was Carly.  Bobbie, upset, rubs Tony's nose in his lousy
taste in women--"You picked yourself a real winner, didn't you?"

  Tony tries to defend Carly:  "She's young and she made a
mistake."  Bobbie reminds him that all the dirt in the legal
papers was his doing, and he does not get off the hook.  Tony
reminds Bobbie that there might have been a time in her own life
when she might have been driven to action as desparate as
Carly's.

  Kat's office--Luke bops in and cuts Kat's phone call short.
He wants to know where Nik is.  Laura had a phone call from him
and she is worried.  Luke admits that he does not care about the
kid one way or the other, but he doesn't want Laura to get
upset.  Kat tells him she doesn't know where Nik is, but coolly
informs him that "she will keep him informed."

  Carly's apartment--Carly's mooning around listening to sad
songs on the radio and thinking of her Tony-boy when she hears a
noise in the hall.  Has her lover-man returned?  She runs to the
door and, bummer, it's only hunky old AJ Quartermaine going into
his apartment.  Poor Carly looks as wilted as yesterday's
lettuce, so AJ takes pity on her and leads her back to her
place, offering her a well-muscled shoulder to cry upon (the one
that Keesha used to lean on). Without going into pesky detail,
Carly tells him that she was a bad girl and now Dr. Tony's mad
at her.  AJ advises her to buck up, come clean with Tony and ask
him to forgive her.  "Be glad you're with a nice guy like Tony,
who's likely to forgive you.  Not like some members of my
family."  When he goes on to mention the hostage crisis, Carly
freaks.  She has to go find her honey-bunny and make sure he's
okay!  When we next see her, she is at GH, just after Tony has
gone three rounds with Bobbie.  Carly tries to sneak up on him
and hug him from behind, but as soon he feels her embrace, he
jerks away.

  Cassadine Mansion--Stefan is pissed.  Nik is no where to be
found.  He gets on the horn to Switzerland and when Laura
answers, he demands "What did you say to Nikolas?"  Laura
assures him that she said nothing untoward to the boy, but that
Nik seemed very upset and she's worried about him.  Soon Nik
arrives and Stef rudely hangs up on his former love.  Nik
exploeds at Stfean's questioning and tells him that he only came
back to get his passport and tell Stef and Bobbie goodbye.
Stefan admits that he should have told Nik the truth about what
happened.  "About which part?"  Nik asks.  "About you shooting
an innocent woman or about letting Luke Spencer go to jail for
it?"  Stef tells him never to doubt his love.  Nik doesn't even
know if he can believe that anymore.  Playing his trump card,
Stef asks:  "What about Katherine?  She needs you."

  In Kat's office, Luke uses the phone to dial Switzerland.
Laura tells him that Nik returned to Wyndemere, and Stefan hung
up on her.  Luke responds "Stefan's spool is unraveling..."
