From: bv143@FreeNet.Carleton.CA (T.A. Murray) Subject: GH: Special May 27th Update Date: 28 May 1997 04:43:38 GMT General Hospital - Usenet Note and E-Mail Special Update - For Our East Coast Friends Tuesday - May 27th 1997 ******** We interrupt this program for a special News Flash: Jasper Jax lost the Indy 500 when he was pulled over by a cop. ******** We return you to our regularly scheduled program, already in progress: KEVIN AND LUCY Lucy groveled to Scott on his answering machine, telling him Kevin was all right now. Kevin walked in while she was explaining him to Scott. Lucy thought he might be angry about that, but he was angry that Scott is keeping Serena away from her. Kevin offered to separate so that Scott will let his daughter see her. Lucy refused. She asked him how his father was. He had been checked into GH and Gail had promised to look in on him. Kevin apologized for his father's sudden visit. And Lucy said that she "likes surprises". (And there are plenty coming up.) MONICA AND DORMAN Dorman whined, groveled and ranted some more, to an unimpressed Monica, who threatened him with various tortures and settled on reading him Matt's toxicology report. She faced him with Matt's murder. Dorman squirmed some more. Monica checked her watch. Almost time for the family meeting. She held up a needle to show Dorman exactly the amount of heroin that had killed Matt. He groveled some more and screamed when she injected him. Monica returned after the family meeting, and informed Dorman that she had not injected him with heroin, just some more sodium pentothal. When he demanded to know what she was going to do with him, she told him that she intended to put him on trial for his crimes and that the judge would be Monica Quartermaine. KAREN WEXLER CATES Alan asks Karen, who has just flown out from San Francisco, to join the GH staff as an intern. She refuses, saying that she has a life with Jagger out on the west coast and couldn't possibly accept. Alan presses her to consider it. Karen runs into Lee Baldwin as she's hovering around the phones. Lee gives her a hug. Apparently off-screen in the past three years Scotty has informed his parents that Karen is his daughter. Lee invites Karen and her mother Rhonda to dinner. Karen then makes a phone call to Jagger's answering machine, and complains about their marital problems, and asks him to give her a reason to come home. QUARTERMAINES The first Quartermaine Family therapy session did not go well. Edward was gruff and uncooperative. A.J. showed up. Alan was late since he was talking to Karen. Monica was late, since she was torturing Dorman. Ned was nice, and limited his snide remarks to one dig at A.J. Alan came home just before Mac turned up. Mac was looking for Monica. Why? We don't know. Perhaps Jason let him know that Monica suspected Dorman. Monica appeared seconds after Mac left, and the question remains, how did he miss her? Though Alan thought she looked bad, Monica was positively cheerful and glowing. The therapy session went on off-screen and ended badly. Emily came running out the room very upset and ran upstairs. The therapist advised them to leave Emily alone for awhile. They took the advice. Monica went back to torture Dorman some more. And Alan took it upon himself to torture A.J. a bit. He asked A.J. to move back in; tried to lay a guilt trip on him about being there for Emily and Monica. A.J. wasn't buying any and instead commented on Alan's poor relationship with Edward. SONNY AND BRENDA Brenda told Sonny Jax was history. They tackled the trust issue. They kissed and made up. They then started to repeat themselves and we had to fast forward. JAX AND HIS POLICE OFFICER Jax is arrested by a pretty deputy, on her third day of duty. She thinks that he was trying to jump bail by crossing into Canada. She takes him back to Port Charles. They flirt and spar all the way back. Jax demands to see Mac, who has just returned from bothering the Quartermaines. Mac just thinks it's funny, and maintains the cover story, by praising Officer Ardanowski. She says she's going to stay on the case, because Jax almost made it out of the country the first time. (Not since the Vietnam War has Canada been such a popular destination.) An exasperated Jax stomps out of Mac's office, and is shadowed by the determined Ardanowski. _____________________________________________________________ XXXXXXXXX ) ) XXXXXXXXX * * X x x X * * * ! * X x x x X * ! * *!* X x x x X *!* |~| X x x x X |~| | | "It's that twin thing."-Ryan Chamberlain | | |_| tntmur@aol.com |_| bv143@freenet.carleton.ca * ui220@freenet.victoria.bc.ca http://muppetlabs.com/~davidj/tnt/tnt.htm http://member.aol.com/tntmur/index.html Besides we need the updating practice! _____________________________________________________________
