Date: Sat, 31 May 1997 07:02:47 -0600 From: ninapie@ntcnet.com Subject: GH: UPDATE Monday, May 26 X-Article-Creation-Date: Sat May 31 11:48:09 1997 GMT General Hospital UPDATE for Monday May 26-- My VCR worked fine today, but because of the Indy 500 delay, I missed the last 10 minutes or so of the show. If anybody would like to fill in the gaps of what I missed, that would be great! "Previously on GH": Victor Collins arrives on Kevin's doorstep Dorman enters a room and is stabbed in the neck by a needle held by a mysterious figure Flashback count for today's show: None! Hallelujah! Kevin and Lucy's place: Victor Collins runs thru the door, heading for a box of files, and whips into them without a word of recognition to anyone. His French escort explains that since the Dr. had been so upset by his son's visit, the Mother Superior thought it best for him to come stay with Kevin. In mangled French, Lucy attempts to explain that Victor can't stay--her daughter is coming, etc. Mac (who is visiting) offers to put Dad up for a while. Kevin doesn't think it would be good for his Dad, but neither does he want to jeopardize Lucy's visit with Serena. Meanhile, Lucy discusses the problem with Felicia. She worries about Scott's reaction to Victor's presence--will Scotty use it to keep Serena away? She tries to keep calm, telling Kevin: "This will be all right. Look at him." Victor seems pretty calm, going thorugh the files. "Maybe your father's not so strange after all." At that, Victor lets out a squawk and flings some file papers across the room. Kevin insists that his father will not stay with them--not just for Lucy's sake, but for his own. He is not yet ready to trust Victor Collins. Once he leaves, Lucy calls Scotty and informs him : "You are going to listen to *me* for a change." At the wharf (I think)--Mac tries to tease Felicia into staying in Port Charles, or at least to cut short her planned visit to Texas with the girls. He tells her he'll miss her when she's gone and gives her a big hug. At GH--AJ runs into Tony and tells him that he's been offered a job as manager of the GH gym. He confides that he's thinking of turning it down--after all, the place is crawling with Quartermaines and he's trying to put some distance between himself and his family. Tony asks if its something he'd enjoy--if so, why worry about the Q's? After all, none of them spend much time in the hospital gym. Later, Tony and Alan talk. Tony says AJ seems to be doing well, and applied for the gym job. Alan says he's like to have AJ back at the mansion--Tony adivses him to give the kid some space. When he's alone, Alan calls the Port Charles hotel and learns that AJ has checked out. He them calls his office and asks that all the applications for the gym job be forwarded to him. Jax's apartment--Jax tells Brenda that Mac convinced him to play the drug kingpin a bit longer until the real one is caught. Brenda gives him a letter that Miranda sent her, apologizing for telling Jax about the catacombs business. Brenda wants to talk about how she hurt Jax. "How do you know that talking about it won't hurt me even more?" Brenda tells him that she really was convinced she and Sonny were about to die. Though they tried to hold on to hope, it failed them, and all they had to hang on to was each other. "I really believed my life was over...and all of a sudden, it wasn't." She wanted to tell him right away, but every time she looked in his eyes, she lost her nerve. Jax replies that all he has ever wanted was her happiness. What happened in the cave was not the most important thing--what is important is that she cannot even now admit that she loves Sonny. Jax understands: "I don't regret a minute of what was us." Brenda: "I'm sorry about 'Nobody leaves'..." Jax: "Nobody did. We just let go." They embrace and say goodbye. Brenda leaves. Jax gathers his motorcycle jacket and helmet and leaves shortly thereafter. (Updater's note: Lame. Lame lame lame lame lame lame....) At the "Starlite Motel"--Dorman falls into a chair, groggy from the shot. "What are you doing to me?" he whines at the gloved figure who locks the door and holds a rope in both hands. Dorman is tied to chair and smacked across the face. The light gets turned on. It's *Monica*! "Relax, Pierce. You're not going anywhere...not trussed up like the turkey you are." Dorman asks if on top of everything else she's done to humiliate herself, does she want to add a prison rap to it? Monica smiles and shrugs. "What've I got to lose?" She marvels at his gun--is that what doctors are carrying in place of the usual little black bag? She tells him that she did not stab him--that would be too quick. Pierce is acting weird--alternately pleading for mercy, then reviling Monica hysterically. Did she shoot him up with heroin? Monica parries, you mean the way you shot up Sonny? Pierce: "Who cares if one more gangster dies?" Monica: "Don't you get it, Pierce? I'm your worst nightmare. A woman who's in control of *you*." Pierce warns her that he'll destroy her. What he did to her before was kid stuff. Then he offers her half a million if she'll release him. Monica taunts him. She will see that he suffers just as he made her family suffer. The most helpless she ever felt was seeing her daughter Emily in the hospital from an overdose of drugs that *he* provided. Now she asks Dorman: "How does it feel to be helpless?" Dorman puts on his phony-sincere act: he got in over his head with some bad guys, but he never meant to hurt anybody, blah blah. He begs her to save him. Monica shuts him up. "Stop sniveling. I injected you with sodium pentathol. Why else would you be vomiting up the truth? I've *got* you, little man." End--or at least as much as my VCR got-- Nina P. -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
