From: maryb <mbrace@wrlt.com> Subject: GH: WEdnesday Update 5/21 Date: Sun, 01 Jun 1997 14:45:48 -0500 GH Update 4/21 The Waterfront (in broad daylight, no less, and with a shrubbery) Brenda marches up to Sonny and demands a status report; why are the cops still on Jax' case? What has Sonny done to get the ball moving? Stuff. Sonny's been doing stuff. They got into an argument about trust and the lack of it. Then, they debated about trust and the lack of it (specifically, theirs). Finally, she guilted Sonny into telling her about Dorman. He spilled everything and explained why Jax is being used as a decoy. Brenda expressed an immediate need to tell Jax everything. Vivre La France Kevin enters the convent cell where his father is busy striking away at a keyboard, and nearly drooling at the monitor. The walls are papered with equations. "Hi, remember me," he asks. Dad wasn't too interested, till Kevin got some recognition by throwing out a childhood name, Monk. Dad put it together and then told Kevin to go wash his hands before dinner. Kevin tried to bring his dad into the present, but had a hard time getting his attention from the computer; pitching a minor fit got the old man to look up, though. He brought up Ryan. Oh yeah, Ryan. Where's he? Well, dad.... And back to the keyboard he went, so Kevin went back out, expressed a little anger, a little guilt, and got some comfort from Lucy. She pushed him to resolve the situation, and suggested bringing Pops back to Port Charles. Actually, she got Kevin to bring up the idea. Hospital Tony and Katherine were consulting her case (same old same old) when in comes Bobbie the Cassadine, husband and custody suit papers of her own in tow. While Katherine and Stefan exchange soulful glances, she threatens to rake Tony over the coals and exploit his shacking up with his sweet young thang. Stefan jumps into to say what a stable, loving, secure environment he and Bobbie a prepared to provide. Are you? Tony asks, and in a fun moment, everyone glances Katybell's way. Oddly, she wasn't seen actually leaving, but because she disappeared when Alexis dragged Stefan away, one must assume she sunk through a hole in the floor. Bobbie & Tony continued; he thought it weird that she thought a judge wouldn't blink at her suspicions of her current husband's affair. She did, she did sink through the floor! Next we saw Katybell in the basement gym, prepping for PT, when in walks her not-so-secret-friend, who offers to help with her exercises. Apparently Bobbie took an express elevator also, because she was spying on them through the door window. Katherine declined Stefan's help, and launched into a speech not unlike Maria Von Trapp telling the captain about how he's been a neglectful father. Bobbie eventually wandered in and inquired about Katy's PT progress. LOD Bobbie: "I hope you're satisfied with your progress." More meaningful glances ensued, and Katherine thanked the both of them for their concern, and said she's getting on with her life, and the Cassadines should, too. Back upstairs, the Bobbie and Stefan were talking about her all-new, big, bad, ballsy self when Luke stepped off the elevator. Casa Carly Uncle Luke and his darling niece were having a little started the day with a custody talk of their own; Luke outright accused Carly of - doing exactly what it was that she did. Nope, Carly says, wasn't me, I wasn't looking to talk to Justus, I was asking about his service for a friend, really. Luke kept the pressure up, mentioning the reams of Carly's imaginary friends. When it was pointed out that the papers were served to Bobbie on the anniversary of BJ's death, she folded and gave a full confession, compared her desperate situation to his own actions, and hit his soft spot by putting the blame on those all-encompassing Spencer genes. Luke agreed she's a Spencer through and through, but has no blood loyalty, and expressed pity. Enter Tony, who must just think it's great that his ex-brother in law treats his new squeeze like family. He broke the news about Bobbie's suit; Luke put on his cool shades and split. Tony commiserated a little more with Carly till she left, then called Justus' secretary to see what she remembered about the day the papers were delivered. mary
