                            GH Update for 05/16/97

Scene 1
Katherine practices on the parallel bars determined to walk.
Scene 2
Bobbie angrily reads the custody suit papers Carly sent to her unknown to Tony.
Scene 3
As Tony plays with Lucas at the brownstone, Carly stops by with some food.
Since Lucas is leaving, she gets to come in.
Scene 4
Kevin and Mac try to explain their missing passports which Felicia stole.
Eventually, someone shows up with them, and they leave.
Scene 5
Meanwhile, Felicia and Lucy dressed as nuns climb over the convent wall. When
two real nuns appear, they have to hide.  Eventually, they creep around in a
typical Abbott and Costello type farce.
Scene 6
Bobbie rants to Stephan over the disparaging details about her in the suit
papers.
Scene 7
Katherine decides to take a break from her parallel bar exercises to crawl
around on the floor like some beached seal until Nikolas shows up and lifts her
up in his arms. While he holds her, they have a brief Kodak moment. Afterwards,
Nikolas promptly rats out Stephan's going to Switzerland complete with all the
gory details of Stephan letting him almost die.
Scene 8
More Bobbie carrying on about Tony with Stephan trying to play the supportive
husband; however, Bobbie rejects him too.
Scene 9
As Felicia and Lucy fake prayers, Kevin and Mac appear at the convent door.
Scene 10
Carly whines to Tony about Lucas; he tries to reassure her.
Scene 11
Stephan promises to make sure Bobbie never loses her son even if it means
breaking the law by whisking them out of the country.
Scene 12
Nikolas relates to Katy the story of Stephan's pushing him off the cliff and
Luke's saving him. Nikki tells her he's going to get as far away from Stephan
as possible to save his own soul. [Isn't that what Luke advised before?]
Scene 13
Just as Kevin as about to show Mac the big secret, Felicia starts ringing the
convent bells. When Lucy prays for a sign, she sees a vision of a particular
cross.
Scene 14
As Tony dims the lights and starts to dance romantically with Carly, abruptly,
the lights go back on, and Bobbie is standing there with Stephan glaring.
Scene 15
Katherine tells Nikolas that Stephan really needs him.  When she argues that
she knows underneath it all Stephan has a conscience because of how he treated
her, Nikolas suddenly realizes it was Stephan who actually shot Katherine after
all.
Scene 16
Back at the convent, Kevin realizes the bells are just a diversion and rushes
off, while Mac follows the sound and finds Felicia playing Quasimodo.
Meanwhile, Lucy sees her visionary cross on a door and is shocked when she sees
who's inside the room.
