Update for Tuesday May 6, 1997

Open with Felicia and Lucy at Luke's talking about Tom leaving for
Africa.  Lucy isn't impressed with this idea but Felicia tells her
that she's proud of Tom for tackling this demon, like Kevin is doing.
Lucy says that she's worried that something is wrong with Kevin. The
two marvel that their men are brilliant but they do weird things.
Felicia drops that she has suspicions of who is stalking her this
time.  (as though we care...)

At the bar, Luke is giving Lucky and Sonny an update on seeing Stefan
at the Spencer house.  Lucky asks his Dad what happens next, Luke
tells him they're just going to wait until Stefan blows it.

Alexis and Stefan are discussing the reasons Stefan is so sure that
Laura will cooperate with him, in the living room at Windemere.
Stefan says that he is sure that she'll give him the egg without a
fight.  He comments that it takes two family members with medallions
to open the egg so that one person can't have the power to unleash
such a "powerful option".

In Switzerland, Leslie is admiring the egg and says that it's hard to
believe such a beautiful little thing could hold something so
dangerous.

At his penthouse, Jax arrives home early to find Brenda waiting for
him.  He tells her that he came home to early to tell Miranda he wants
her out of his life and that she should leave town.  Brenda asks what
she said while Jax flashes back to his confrontation with Miranda
(clearly breaking the RATSA flashback time rule... *sigh* which is far
more grievous a violation when Miranda is involved, IMNSHO sorry FGC
Miranda).  Jax tells Brender he doesn't feel like talking about it.
She goads him into it - he tells her that the more he finds out about
her - Brenda - the more he loves her.  He says Brenda is stronger than
Miranda, that Miranda said she was coping all right, but that she knew
it was a no win situation.  He feels bad that he asked her to come
back in the first place and he sent her away.

Brenda says that she doesn't think anyone ever really stops loving
their "first love".  Jax interjects with "the memory" of their first
love...  She tells him she wants to live up to his belief in her and
tell the truth.

At GH Miranda visits Katherine madly doing physical therapy exercises,
alone.  She lectures her for being alone.  She tells Kath. that Jax
she has really given Jax reason to despise her now.  She laments that
she may never be able read his love letters again.  (we can only
hope...)

Alexis is summoning the jet to take Stefan to Switzerland when he
walks in and tells her he is not going right away.  He wants it to
appear as though he's going to Europe for business so as not to alarm
Barbara.  Alexis exits when Bobbie enters.

Noticing her cool mood, Stefan asks if something is bothering her.
She tells him it's just a patient that took a turn for the worst.  He
feeds her his little cover story about investors that he needs to go
meet in Europe at Alexis's urging.  Bobbie inquires if he plans to be
traveling alone.  She blows it off saying she thought Alexis might be
accompanying him.  Nik comes downstairs, saying he heard Bobbie's
voice.  He flashes back to his conversation earlier with Katherine
about she and Stefan.  He tells Bobbie that he wants to help her, she
says she's just tired and goes up to bed.  Nik lambastes Stefan saying
he should go with her.  Stefan says that he and Nik need to talk, Nik
leaves for bed.  Alexis comes back, Stefan says he's worried that Nik
is worried about Bobbie getting hurt.  Stefan says that he must see to
it that neither of them gets hurt.

Back at Luke's Felicia and Lucy are talking about mainframes.  Lucy
paraphrases Felicia's theory about her stalker.

At the bar Luke is telling Sonny and Lucky how he opened the egg.
Flash to a scene with Laura when they figured it out - Leslie comes
downstairs and is shocked to see Laura's medallion, says she thought
it was hers.  Leslie says she found hers; and felt that it was
important that no one else know she had it.  Luke praises her logic.
Leslie gives him the medallion and he opens the egg.

Back at the Penthouse, Brenda starts to tell Jax about the cave and he
says he doesn't want to know.  He gives her a nice speech about not
needing explanations.  Whatever happened in the cave, he says, made
her stop taking the pills and want to move out of their house.  He
sees why they have to be apart now, that it's so they can be together
in the future.  He says they have to let each other go.  Brenda
hesitates, but agrees it's the right thing to do.  He says he misses
her, doesn't want to lose her forever and that he wishes the Miranda
situation had been handled better.  He tells her to do what she thinks
is right.  Like the night in the rain before the morning he asked her
to marry him. He says he knew he'd fall in love with her and that he
should've trusted his instinct.  He says that he strong armed her into
marrying him when he was hung up on Miranda and she was claiming to be
so happy when she was popping pills all the while.  She protests that
she was happy, he says he was too but that they had some big time
bombs under their bed that finally blew up, but that they're not
fooling themselves anymore.  He says he doesn't want to settle she
tells him he shouldn't have to.  Jax says it'll be interesting to see
how things turn out.  They smile sweetly, if a bit tentatively, at
each other.

Luke is still telling the Faberge egg story, and that he figured it
out based on something Felicia said.  Namely, that he was testing to
see if he could break into main frames of large computer systems.
Luke says he is waiting for Stefan to go to Switzerland.  Sonny asks
how Luke intends to fight a computer war.  He defers Sonny to his
son...

Lucy is overcome with the urge to rush home and warn Kevin that he's
in danger. Felicia suggests that he probably wouldn't listen.  Lucy
relates how she has trouble understanding him lately, that she wishes
he would give up the ghosts of his past and move ahead.  Felicia says
the two of them are too worried about what's going to happen to just
enjoy the future.  Lucy says she's going to show Kevin that the two of
them are forever.

At GH, Katherine tells Miranda how being alone stinks.  Miranda says
she's lost Jax forever and leaves to go blow her nose.  Katherine
tries to take a step on her own.

Felicia tells Lucy her secret to staying calm - that she freaks out
for 10 minutes in the morning and then has to be a grown up for the
rest of the day.  Lucy is not impressed.  Felicia asks Lucy if it's ok
for her to look into Kevin's trip to Oxford because she thinks it
might have something to do with Stefan.  Lucy reluctantly agrees.  Off
goes Felicia...

Lucy stops by to hug Luke good-bye on her way out the door.  Luke
chides her about going home to be with Kevin, and how "she's in love"
she replies "just like you!".  Cut to Laura recalling her threat to
Stefan about telling Luke she slept with him.  Leslie comes down and
see her upset, says she can't sleep if Laura can't.  She encourages
her daughter to share her troubles.  Laura says she's so afraid that
she's going to wake up and find that her mom being back and all right
was all just a dream.  Leslie says it's her turn to be the Mother, she
asks Laura what she's so scared of.  Laura says she's worried that
Stefan will come after the egg and they won't have enough to fight him
off with.  Leslie reminds her about all that she and Luke have
accomplished, and assures her that they can do anything they need to.

At Windemere, Bobbie comes to bed where Stefan is waiting for her.  He
begins to kiss her neck, she looks worried.  Stefan whispers that he
can't believe she "belongs" to him, then asks if that was the wrong
thing to say.  He explains that he thinks he such a lucky man to get
to touch her and hold her, "if you still want me to".  She tells him
she's tired so he reaches (more like crawls) over her and turns out
the light.

At GH, Dorman chastises Katherine for being alone in the PT room,
suggesting she could hurt herself and then sue GH.  Miranda walks back
in the room and upon seeing Dorman pushing K's wheel chair, suddenly
remembers seeing him that day in the airport with Sonny.

Amber - on my way to France for two weeks this Friday so the wonderful
and talented JudyOmega (aka QED mastermind) will be filling in for me
- and probably manage to get it up in a timely-er manner than I!!!
