                            GH Update for 05/02/97

Scene 1
Luke talks to the distant Laura about his baiting Stephan with the egg; she
says be careful since all cornered rodents will bite.
Scene 2
Stephan takes his Craftsman burglary tool pack out of the drawer.  Nikolas
appears, and they argue about Stephan's roving eye.
Scene 3
Carly advises Katy to take it easier in her therapy, or she risks injury, but
Katherine is rebellious. Bobbie appears at the door to see Katherine. Carly
tries to put her off, but Katy dismisses Carly who leaves. Bobbie says she
wants to know about Kathy and Stephan.
Scene 4
Luke and Laura chit-chat about Stephan while Luke's Club fills up with the
usual PC denizens.
Scene 5
Nikolas continues to pointedly question Stephan about his relationship with
Katherine, but Stephan give his usual assurances about not hurting Bobbie.
Scene 6
Meanwhile, Bobbie asks Katherine very similar questions about Stephan. Katy
professes innocence, but Bobbie looks unconvinced.
Scene 7
Justus and ADA Jensen (with good looking hair) carry on a boring flirtatious
conversation.
Scene 8
AJ and Keesha talk briefly before he leaves and runs into Carly outside.  She's
still worried about his memory of their brief-less encounter.
Scene 9
Jax returns early to see Miranda and apologize for his words to her earlier. At
first, he yammers about his parents but then tells her to leave PC for her own
good.
Scene 10
Back at Luke's, Brenda tells Sonny she's going to tell Jax the truth about the
cave and finding Sonny's stalagmite in her crevasse. [Update Tip: confused
about which is which, stalagmite or stalactite. Remember the following tip.
Stalactites hold "tight" to the ceiling while you need a lot of "might" to push
a stalagmite through the floor. Thanks to Irene for this tip.]
Scene 11
Lucy begs Luke for an introduction to the band "All-4-One" so she can hit them
up to play at the Nurse's Ball.
Scene 12
Bobbie paces around in Stephan's office at GH before she knocks some stuff off
the desk in a fit of frustration. When Tony appears at the door and asks,
"What's wrong?" she snaps, "Oh, go away. I hate you both."
Scene 13
Jason meets Carly but tells her Tony called and won't be there because he's
working late. She decides to split and be with Tony.
Scene 14
Luke introduces the band, and they play a song from "Space Jam."  [What is the
point of these long musical scenes? If I wanted to hear bands, I'd watch MTV or
better yet Beavis and Butthead.]
Scene 15
Katherine looks over a piece of jewelry Stephan gave her. When she looks up,
Nikolas is standing there, and based on her demeanor, he guesses that Bobbie
was there earlier.
Scene 16
When Tony asks Bobbie what happened, she breaks down and laments that her
perpetual man-cycle is happening again, meet-'em, trust-'em, get cheated on
by-'em, and as usual, she had to find out herself.  As they embrace, Carly sees
them.
Scene 17
Brenda returns to Jax's apartment, but he's not home yet.
Scene 18
Back at Miranda's, they start to argue about Brenda, but Jax doesn't want to
discuss Brenda at all, so in desperation and spite, Miranda blurts out that
Brenda was unfaithful to him with Sonny.
Scene 19
Stephan the cat burglar breaks into Luke's house presumably looking for the
egg.
