      at Luke's

Luke is still talking to Laura on the phone.  They discuss the egg and
the fact that Stefan now knows they have it.  There seems to be some sort
of subtext going on, do they already know the secret the egg holds?  Luke
says that Stefan will probably try to get the egg back the night of the
big concert and he will be ready for him.  They discuss Lesley, who is in
the room, and Lucky, and Laura's worries.  They exchange sweet nothings.

Later, Luke sits with Filly as she devours cheesecake.  They talk about
computers and Stefan's expertise with them.

      at Wyndemere

Bobbie [wearing pale pink and pearl grey] is appalled at Stefan's outburst.
Stefan yells at her and tells her to leave but she refuses.  He tries to
regain control.  Bobbie chides him for destroying a beautiful object so
he tells her that it was a fake, a decoy and that Nik took the original.
Nik comes in, he is delighted to see Bobbie.  Stefan reams him a new a#$@%*&.
Stef. can't believe he gave the egg to the enemy.  He goes on and on.  Bobbie
is insulted by the way he speaks of her family but he doesn't notice.  Nik
yells back and makes allusions to Stefan's affair.  Bobbie tries to referee
and protect Nik, but they both ask her to leave.  Stefan keeps on berating
Nik, but Nik starts questioning him about Katybell.  This deflects Stefan.
Nik accuses his uncle of being selfish, materialistic, and rigid.  Stefan
has nothing to say, and Nik walks out.

      at the PC Hotel

Mir. continues to threaten Brenda, in a public lobby.  She accuses Brenda
of not being too bright.  She is so nuts she is practically foaming at
the mouth.  [at first I thought maybe Roo was throwing her voice, but then
I realized that Roo would do a way better job of it]  Mir. tells Bren.
she read 'the' letter and calls her a slut and taunts her over her drug
abuse.  Bren. foolishly tries to explain to Mir. that she thought she was
dying but sees that it is pointless.  [Mir. is completely wacko]  So
Bren. threatens back and points out that Jax would hate Mir. for telling
him  and 'if you tell Jax you'll pay'.

The show then goes up to Jax's suite where Jax drifts into two consecutive
flashbacks about Brenda.  [I kid you not]  Jax stops remembering and phones
his father.  They have a tentative, apologetic conversation.  Jax agrees
to fly up to Alaska for a short visit.

      at Luke's

Fel. cheerfully asks Mac if he's cracked the drug case yet.  She tells him
all about her recent suspicions of Kevin.  There are many references to
past storylines in the conversation.  Mac is dismayed that Filly confronted
Kevin.  He gets a call and leaves to get a file out of his car.

Mac runs into Kevin outside Luke's, assumes Kevin is following Filly and
stops him from entering the club.  Kevin is bewildered at first, Lucy
arrives to meet Kevin and then Mac, Kevin and Lucy have a boring conversation
about whether Kevin is stalking Filly again.

      PC Hotel
Lobby

Miranda laughs off Brenda's threats, reaches down deep and spews out her
best nasty. '....I'm going to destroy your life....sit back and watch the
fall out....enjoy every minute...'  Of course since this is a soap, this
is the precise moment that Jax comes down to the lobby.  [Mir. sounds
completely rabid, by now]  Jax defends Bren. and makes Mir. leave.  He
apologizes to Bren. for his 'psycho ex-wife'.  He never knew she could
be such a bitch.   Jax, who is on his way to Alaska, and Bren.  have a
drawn out good-bye scene.  Bren. makes plans to see him on Friday, she
still needs to talk to him.  She finishes out the day by giving Jax the
same hope she gave Sonny earlier and they hug.  Mir. watches them from
outside through the window.  [where is that doorman?]

      Somewhere in Switzerland

Lesley and Laura discuss the egg, Nik and Luke.  Laura then has flashback
#3, of Stef. threatening her.
