Due to previous problems posting it in its entirety, I will post in four parts. Sorry for the inconvenience--maybe by next week I will have figured out a better way. Scene--mists of Spoon Island: Alexis and Nikolas Alexis is busy assuring Nik that Stefan is not having an affair with Katherine. Nik is not so sure and is worried about Bo believes that Stef married Bobbie for the wrong reasons. Alexis tells him that Stefan will not renege on his commitments She tells him that he (Nik) is the reason that she can now say that the family comes first with her. After spending many years alone, apart from the family, she can be part of it again. She looks forward to the day that Nik is in charge of the family. She tells him he can always count on her. "I am not just your cousin. I am very much your friend." Later: Katherine's apartment--Kat and Nik Nik asks Kat if Stefan was there. Close-up on Kat having mini-flashback (thank God only one this episode) to her and Stef in the pool, smooching. She admits that he was there, but is no more to her than a caring friend. Nik is concerned that Stefan is losing "focus" because of his interest in her. He doesn't want Stefan to be embarrassed. Kat feels he is overreacting. Nik wonders if Bobbie would agree. "He's married, Katherine...you deserve someone of your own..and he can never be that for you..." Kat informs him she is well aware of Stefan's marriage. She would never endanger her friendship with Nik. He answers her, meaningfully, "I could be *more* than your friend." A bit later he backs off (bummer), saying he meant he could encourage her training, etc. He brings up Bobbie, explaining "Our family was in shambles before Bobbie came along. I don't want to see her hurt." Scene--Jax's apartment--Brenda/Jax/Miranda Brenda appears at Jax's door and tells him him she wants to have an honest talk. "That's funny," Jax replies. "That's just waht Miranda said when she got here." Miranda is already inside the apartment. She toys with a wary Brenda. Brenda's not sure she wants to discuss things with Mia there. Miranda says the discussion involves all of them. In a phony-sweet voice, she offers, "By all means, Brenda, you go first..." A bit more cat and mouse goes on, then Brenda says "If you have something to say, Miranda, just say it." Miranda parries, "I thought you were the one with the story to tell." Jax finally asks Miranda to leave. She gets pissy ("You want *me* to leave?"), but goes. For a minute it looks like Brenda will come clean about the catacombs, but Kevin's voice in her head ("What purpose would it serve?") causes her to wimp out. They exchange some remarks about needing time to think, etc. They embrace and Brenda tells him "I'll never forget how understanding you've been with me." (Watch out, Jax. You're just a step away from "We can still be friends.") As Brenda emerges from the elevator in the main lobby, she is confronted again by Miranda. Brenda accuses her of stalking her like something out of a scary movie of the week. Miranda counters with "Either you tell Jax [the truth] or I do." Scene--Luke's club--Sonny/Taggert/Mac Taggert looks like he's choking on something, but he tells Sonny "I'm not here to hassle you..." He wants Sonny to share his information. Sonny blows up at him, is sick of being harrassed. Mac enters and informs them that Emily's connection (Matt) has been found dead from an overdose. Matt Reynolds, age 14, was found hidden in some brush behind a park bench, his bloodstream full of uncut heroin. Taggert explodes at the news. Mac tells him: "Why are you putting a personal vendetta ahead of department business?" Mac lets Mr. T. know that he wanted to fire his butt, but Sonny urged him not to. Taggert asks "Excuse me, sir, I have a question. Which one of you is The Man?" Taggert accuses Sonny of trying to make Mac think he is the heroin dealer. "You've been waiting to set me up...you already got Scorpio thinking I'm a rogue cop." Then he asks Mac "Is he [Sonny] an honorary member of the police force?" Mac answers "When Sonny breaks the law, I'll cuff him myself." (Guess no one has told him about the gummi bears :-)) Meanwhile, Taggert's relentlessness could be an asset if he could just focus it better. Sonny reminds T that one kid is in the hospital and one is dead. "When are you gonna cry about something that matters?" Mac suggests they both focus on finding the person who's pushing drugs on kids. Taggert agrees that they're on the same page on that. Scene--Mists of Spoon Island--Luke and Stefan Stefan appears on the dock to find Luke (and his ever-present cigar) already there. Luke asks Stef if he enjoyed his swim with Tinkerbell. They exchange insults and Luke taunts Stef about being the "inept" Cassidine. He then delivers what must be the line of the day: "Your family nearly froze the world and you can't find the air conditioner." Stef tells him there's nothing going on with Kat. "Unlike you and Laura, my wife and I have no secrets..." Luke tells him he's making a pathetic ass of himself. He won't even have to tell Bobbie--she'll soon figure out the truth. He then informs Stef that Alexis came to see him. "Now there is a competent woman...a formidable opponent...she has her eye on the helm..." He then brings up Nik's shared attraction to Katherine:"Don't you think you boys ought to splash around in a bigger gene pool?" Nik is trying to buy sibling affection, Luke goes on, giving Lulu a Faberge egg. Or didn't Stefan know? Did Stef want to give it to Blondie instead? Stefan covers his surprise and insists the egg is worthless. "Since your wife left you, Spencer, you're like a clown without a circus...you serve no purpose." He gets on the cell phone to call security. Luke tells him not to bother. "When my sister gets back, tell her hi." As Luke walks away, he mutters under his breath "It ain't gonna be there, buddy." (I assume he's refering to the Faberge egg.) Later, at the club, Luke makes a call. *Laura* picks up! On the table with her phone is the Faberge egg. L&L talk sexy for a bit, then Luke tells her "I've finally got Stefan on the run." Laura looks serious and worried. Meanwhile, back at the castle, Stefan is seriously pissed. He storms to the wall safe, opens it, and takes out a faberge egg. He looks at it, then hurls it against the wall where it smashes. At that moment, Bobbie walks through the door. She surveys the damage and looks at Stefan in shock. end of show--whew! send constructive criticism, etc to-- Nina P. -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
