In semi-Johnny style...

Miranda observes Sonny and Brenda hugging outside the entrance to GH. Brenda
leaves before things get out of hand. Miranda strolls up and engages in
some snappy patter with the Mini-Mobster.

At his club, Luke tangles with Alexis who refuses to take his Spencer crap.
She requests that he and Lucky stop jerking Nikolas' emotions around with
all these supposed letters from his grandmother. Luke tries hard to goad her
into losing her cool and starts speculating on Stefan and Katherine's romantic
interests. She's way too hip for the DogBoy, though, and immediately sees
through his pathetic attempts to be cool.

Meanwhile Nik is calling around trying to locate KatyBell (and his uncle). At
that very moment, Katherine and Stef are in the spawn mode in a large pool at
some big estate he acquired.  They talk and neck (FASHION-VIOLATION: blonde
bimbeaux with pasty-white skin should never be dressed in chalk-white bathing
suits with unflattering neck lines).  [Also, note to Katherine...didn't your
mother ever tell you NOT to get involved with a man who wears more jewelry
than you?].  She tells Stef that they shouldn't do anything precipitious (all
the while vacuuming his tonsils like one of those remora fish cleaning up a
shark).

Back at Luke's, Alexis has just about whittled him down to a toothpick. He
prattles on about the supposed romance between Katherine and Stef.  Alexis
gets tired of getting nowhere and preprares to leave. She reiterates her
request that Luke and Lucky lay off Nik.

Sonny spars with Miranda who's trying to be brilliant and oh-so-crafty about
what she knows from reading his letter from Brenda. Sonny suggests that Jax
isn't going to fly to her side no matter what. He also wonders what she's
still doing in PC because she has no job, no friends, etc.  He tells her to
get her own life because Jax has made his choice and it "ain't you, babe!"

At the lighthouse, Kevin answers the door. It's Brenda with a gift certificate
for some art supplies. They chat for a bit and he asks her if she wants to get
down and dish. Relieved, she nods yes.  Brenda doesn't know whether or not she
should tell Jax about her and Sonny making the sign of the Confused
Crustaceans while they were trapped in the cave. Although she wants to be
totally honest with him she knows she'll hurt Jax and their relationship
(perhaps fatally) if she confesses to expiate her own guilt. Kevin counsels
her to not dump on Jax just because she feels guilty. Then Brenda blurts out
that she's afraid if she doesn't tell Jax somebody else will!

Sonny leaves Miranda after he tells her again what a huge loser she is.  Mac
wanders up, then, and consoles her. She tells him she snooped into Sonny's
mail. Mac is appalled that Miranda would consider ratting on Brenda to Jax.
She tells Mac that she has an itch only Jax can scratch. He gently suggests
that she's a monumental loser and to get her own life.  Mac gets a phone call
and boogies off. Seems that another kid has overdosed on drugs.

Stef returns KatyBell to her apartment. She pushes him to define their
relationship and then turns the topic to current wife, Bobbie, and past
love-of-his-life Laura. Stef is amazed and troubled by her Stefan-like
ability to see into his black soul. She also implies that perhaps his
attentions toward her aren't all they seem to be. Perhaps they're colored
by the fact that he shot her and could go to prison if she pressed charges.
Stef denies he has an ulterior motive when it comes to Katherine and his
feelings for her. He does admit that he was once in love with Laura but says
that her current actions, and the way she betrayed him and hurt Nikolas, have
driven a stake through that infatuation. Katherine suggests that if can get
so worked up about Laura then maybe he's not quite over Mrs. Spencer yet.

Sonny arrives at Luke's Club, followed closely by Taggart. Sonny blows up at
Taggart for trailing him. A seemingly-humbled Taggart asks Sonny if they
can start over.

Nik meets Alexis at the boat dock on Spoon island. He's waiting for Unkie to
return. He voices his suspicions about Stef's attentions to Ms. Bell but
Alexis says Stef is away on business.

Meanwhile, Bobbie prepares to return from Arizona early.
