Brenda Condensed 20 Years of Psychotherapy into 20 Minutes!

Brenda arrived at the lighthouse for her first shrink-wrap session with Doc
Kevin. She waffled around nervously and apologized for "bothering" him.  She
sat down but blathered on for a while before she admitted her drug dependency
to Kevin. She also 'fessed up about aardvarking in the cave with Sonny.
Somehow, the conversation got around to her father, Harlan Barrett [killed by
Bill Eckert but strangely referred to by Brenda in the present tense] and how
Harlan always kept Brenda at arm's length and how he liked Julia best. Brenda
then became extremely upset when she realized that all the decisions she had
ever made were because of the current man in her life. "I don't think the real
ME has ever made a sound" she sobbed.  She wanted badly then to take a pill in
order to feel "safe", but Kevin talked her out of it.

A.J. and Keesha = Moopy and Shmoopy
=======================================
In the Quartermaine library, Alan caught A.J. filling a plastic water bottle
with straight vodka. They quarreled and Alan was just getting physical when
Lila and Edward buzzed in.  Alan and A.J. went outside to continue their
argument. Edward and Lila left and A.J. went back inside. Monica caught him
swigging vodka from a decanter and she burst into tears. Alan entered and the
argument started again. A.J. left and Alan comforted a distraught Monica. On
the other side of town, Keesha wandered into an Al-Anon Meeting and sat down.
When it was her turn to speak, she blubbered and honked out her tale of woe.

Dorman and Jason Tangle Again

At GH, Monica cornered nurse Rebecca and started to tongue-lash her. Dorman
whizzed up and verbally slashed Monica to ribbons. She left. Jason, however,
was lurking nearby and caught the whole scene. He went up to the nursie,
presumably to try to get her to confess she lied for Dorman. However, Jason
was distracted by a hospital patient who stumbled to the nurse's desk.  He
helped the guy sit down. From his pre-med days Jason recognized the signs of
insulin shock; he gave the guy some sugar and fruit juice. The nurses finally
noticed something was wrong and came running over, followed by Dorman. After
the guy was taken away Dorman threatened Jason with legal action for
"interfering with a hospital patient" [huh?]. Jason called his bluff and said
that HE wasn't the one in trouble here. They verbally sparred a bit before
Jason left. Dorman was unnerved by the incident and by Jason.

Emily Took a Step Down that Long, Lonesome Road

In the park, Emily apologized to Nikolas for trying to climb into his mouth.
Nik gently explained that he, too, came from a rich, dysfunctional family and
he knew what she's been going through. She was still embarrassed, though, and
declined his offer of a ride home. At home, she lurked on the patio and
overheard Monica and Alan arguing about A.J.'s drinking. Emily took off for
the park, again, and met up with Matt. He promised her something really
"special" and handed her a marijuana cigarette laced with heroin.
