GH Update for Wednesday, 3/26 - Good news! Only one flashback today.

Today¹s theme: Loving, Dysfunctional Families Go Calling

At the Lighthouse

The mail came in, and Kevin was pissed. He intercepted Lucy¹s
returned Oxford mail and thought she was trying to get the fellows to
stop sending their equations and continuations of Victor Collins¹ work.
When Lucy offered to show him her original letter to prove him wrong,
he declined.

Hospital

Lucky arrived to see Bobbie, and Carly was waiting outside, not happy
because Tony was inside. Nikolas was also there, preparing to visit
Katybell. Before he left, Bobbie probed to see if what he might know
about his uncle and Katherine.
As he left, he met Lucky in the hall and they were surprisingly civil to
each other, delicate, even.
When Lucky went into Bobbie¹s room she explained to him that she
misses both him and his father, but she also loves her husband.
They chit-chated some about the Spencer men being on their own, then
segued into a family-ties talk.
Great line from Lucky: "Now we only see each other when someone
almost gets killed, or... pretends to get killed."

At the nurses station, Stefan was sucking up to Amy when Alexis
came by to give him a hard time about his husbandly devotion, or lack
thereof.

They talked about Luke some. Talked about Bobbie some. Talked about
Luke talking to Bobbie some. Stefan claimed he¹s newly committed to
Bobbie, especially since she rejected Luke¹s attempts to weaken her
faith in his esteemed self.  Therefore, he was all too happy to dump
Katherine.

"Katherine Bell is extraneous."

Eventually, they decided the best thing to do to remove Katherine from
the picture was to rescind the hospital PR job offer.

Katherine¹s apartment.

Luke showed up, claiming to carry her heart¹s desire "On a little
silver platter." Katherine attempted to kick him out, saying she was
expecting company. "Is he dark, brooding and underaged, or just dark?"
he asked.

They spoke of the warehouse fire, and Luke explained that  he wanted
to get Bobbie away from Stefan and he wanted her help. (Updaters
note: TG was in fine form today, and got off loads of one and two
liners.)

Luke was trying to get Kath to admit she knew Stefan shot her. His
logic: he¹ll report it to Bobbie; Bobbie won¹t believe him; she¹ll
confront Katherine; Katherine won¹t deny it; Bobbie will leave Stefan;
Katherine will have Stefan all to herself.

Katherine resisted, so he left, just as Nik showed up.

Lighthouse

The returned letter lead to a major blowout. ³Since when is loving me
appointing yourself parole officer to my psyche?² This looked like
Kevin and Lucy¹s first *real* argument. He was mad at her so concern,
and she was mad that he was mad. Before leaving to see his court
appointed shrink, he reiterated that the Oxford letters aren¹t painful
to him, aren¹t harmful, in spite of what Lucy thinks.

As Kevin stormed out, Mac wandered in, and informed Lucy of the
anniversary of Ryan¹s death, which made her feel like a total idiot for
not remembering.

Later, when Kevin returned from his appointment with Gail, they both
felt conciliatory. He apologized, saying they were overdue for a fight;
she apologized for not remembering what day it was. They hugged (aww).

Hospital

Out side Bobbie¹s hospital room, Carly made it clear she wants Tony to
come on home, but he had other things to do, like pick up a delivery.

After Lucky left, Carly went in to see Bobbie ...Carly was tentative and
when Bobbie mentioned her eau-de-smoke fumes, offered her dime
store cologne, but was put off at Bobbie¹s pee-ewe-ing her taste. As
she was about to split, Bobbie asked her to stay and they hashed out
what happened with Lucas.

Luke returned to GH ,just as Stefan¹s flower shop arrived. Lucas, then,
showed up and asked L & L why they never visit him on Spoon Island.

Bobbie was on her best behavior with Carly and explained that while
she¹s laid up, she wants Lucas to stay with Tony - alone, in the
brownstone. Carly appeared to be understanding and all was well until
Lucas came in and wanted Bobbie to ³make her go away.²

After a poor attempt at reminding Lucas what manners are about,
Bobbie let him get away with behaving like a brat.
At this, an upset Carly stormed out and encountered Luke, whose idea
of comfort was the reminder, ³You don¹t look like her, but you¹re a
Spencer.²

Timing, thy name is Stefan.

Nik told Katherine about the warehouse fire and quizzed her on Luke¹s
visit. He went off about Luke wanting people to believe that Stefan
shot Kate; compared her situation (having few loving family visitors,
that is) to Bobbie¹s, and mentioned that his stepmother asked if
Stefan was still hanging about. Cue: doorbell ring. Nik opened it to his
uncle.
