Date: 03/19 7:55 PM From: Mary Brace, djmaryb@mindspring.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Mary Brace Email: djmaryb@mindspring.com GH Update for Wed. 3/12 Today's show opened with Mac trying his very best to pull some weight with New York's finest redneck Trooper, who busted Felicia for some 40 plus parking tickets. While Felicia's potato-obsessed cell-mate displayed her mashed brains, Macs pleas got him nowhere, despite that Filly's tickets were cited in Port Chuck proper. Felicia, through all this, is busy acting out scenes from _Thelma and Louise_. "You'll never get me to pay up, Copper..." Or some such. Turns out that someone bearing a resemblance to her has been knocking off the local Mini- Marts. Mac's efforts only got him pushed into the cell with Felicia and the Potato Lady. (Any guesses on how long before Mac's behind his own bar, full time and Taggert is sitting in the Commissioner's Chair?) Eventually, the trooper found out the real armed robberess was busted in Schenectady, so Mac paid Felicia's $1,000 ticket fines and they left. At GH, Brenda had a meet with Alan about her pill problem. However, Alan assumed that because Brenda was concerned that she might have an addiction, she probably wasn't addicted. Brenda again tried to hint that she indeed had a habit, but Alan decided she was upset about something else. Jax heard the last part, and wanted to know what Brenda could possibly be upset about. Before leaving the room, Alan confided to Bren,"Don't worry - I'm taking the same exact pills you are, for my hand." Jax suggested that they just forget about Sonny and pulled in for a big hug, while Brenda flashed back to the cave scenes and worried that she might have gotten pregnant. When Mike and Jax went off for a chat, Taggert approached Sonny to inquire if Harry identified anyone in the heroin smuggling ring. Dorman overheard this, but got distracted by his day job. Sonny was hostile, but not completely uncooperative. What Dorman didn't hear was Sonny spec'ing that whoever was bringing in the smack was under the mistaken impression that Sonny could identify him. Later, during a conversation with Mike, Sonny got a flashback from hearing the hospital PA system. (Hospital PAs sound like airport PAs, no?) Back at the penthouse, Mike and Sonny were bonding very nicely, with Mike dispensing fatherly advice about the Brenda and Jax situation, which Sonny said he'll ignore in the long run. Yup. They're definitely becoming a typical father/son. Keesha found A.J. waking in the Quartermaine boathouse and witnessed another blow-up between Ned and the younger Q. Finally, A.J. fessed that he was driving the night of Jason's accident, which Keesha didn't take very well. She ended up confronting Alan about the tough-love treatment; she was mad that they are sacrificing A.J. to protect Monica. He was less than apologetic. After calling Alan "useless," she called Sonny and asked him to send Jason to Q headquarters. The morning starting well enough with a domestic bliss scene for Lucy and Kevin, until he received another mysterious Oxford letter, addressed from his late father, though Kevin assumes these are from Victor Collins' colleagues. Lucy didn't understand why he reads the letters religiously now, when before, they went straight to the Florsheim's box. Kevin's take was that he's now receptive to new ideas, and the equations stir him to be creative on his computer. This did not inspire any new confidence in Miss Lucy. Later, when Kevin told her was was planning to meet with Stefan that day, Lucy took it calmly while she, claiming to be writing a letter to Robin, penned a note to Victor's "colleagues," asking them about the work they're doing on Voctor's formulas....
